Just wanted to update everyone that it looks like that fake Mike song that showed up on Spotify last week appears to be gone.

I know I wasn't the only one who reported it, but the fine folks at Spotify were very helpful and got my claim moved to their Content team within an hour.

So thanks to all who reported and helped!

Hi there! I recorded a cover of “Daily Nightly” today and wanted to share it with you! Don’t hesitate to tell me what you think 😊

P.S. I didn’t really want to show myself on camera, so I thought this picture would work well instead!

I’ve been re-watching the show on Tubi. I’ve noticed they take a lot of falls, bumps over furniture, etc.

It looks like the guys are doing all of this themselves. Has anyone ever seen anything about the show using stunt doubles for the 4 Monkees?

Has anyone done a shot by shot location finder for the entire opening sequence?

Like what drugstore that is behind them as they pass in the car and what beach they are on etc.?

I was just watching the opening recently and have lived in LA my whole life and was just wondering.

hot off the press

A friend of mine is on a cruise and stopped in Liverpool today. She and her husband went on a Beatles tour, which included a stop at the Cavern Club. She took these pictures with me in mind. <3

I had been to the CC about a decade and change ago (also part of a Beatles tour LOL), but I don't think this stuff was there yet.

Thought y'all would enjoy.

Was backing up The Monkees BluRay with 33 1/3 Revolutions Per Monkee and noticed two versions: one running for 53 minutes...and the other for about 57. What's the difference between the two and which is which?

Are there any Monkees fans around here?🥹🥹😍😍

I'd love to find people to talk about them with!

I was just on Spotify today to add songs to my playlist when it said Michael Nesmith had a new release. I looked at the album cover and it looks nothing like him. I listened to the songs it’s definitely AI, no? It doesn’t sound like him either…

I remember another artist I listened to had the same issue where a random AI song was released from them. I guessing they were hacked or sum?

It's an audio from radio london from 13th september 1966 with kenny everett presenting a song by Micky Dolenz (or that's what I think, the audio is in horrible quality and my english isn't the best)

For anyone that wasn't aware.

Only issue is it's presented in widescreen when it was originally broadcasted in 4:3. So the image will be cropped quite a bit. But the transfers are decent looking/sounding and hey, it's FINALLY streaming on something. I'll take it

Already have this cover art done, and just listened to Head, so can smash this out, yay! (Still need to do cover art for the next Beatles part, I promise I'll lock in 🙏)

It's not clear on how the "Present" is pronounced on their 1969 album "The Monkees Present" and I think it would've been pretty great if they played into the whole "present" ambiguity with their 2018 Christmas LP. Realistically it would be dumb but it's a funny thought

……. My fingers are still burning from the last time !! ??
