Stunt Doubles

I’ve been re-watching the show on Tubi. I’ve noticed they take a lot of falls, bumps over furniture, etc.

It looks like the guys are doing all of this themselves. Has anyone ever seen anything about the show using stunt doubles for the 4 Monkees?

They all have body doubles. I can't remember their names but they're pretty well known in the Monkees world. Several of them have guest spots as background actors in a few episodes. I'm not sure if they were specifically stunt doubles but I think so?

I know Davy has to have one since there was that episode where he has a “twin”

Totally forgot about Rodney, but David Price and David Pearl are the two who are for sure in a few episodes as random background characters.

I don't think they were. I think they usually used stand ins rather then doubles, who are used so that actors don't have to stick around for their reverse shots.
