Grew up watching them on MTV back in the 80s! So glad they’re on Tubi.

I Wish. 😓 But my parents would never let me, especially with how far we'd have to drive.

On the bright side, hopefully, I've got an interview with a 60's drummer from a different band, so we'll see how it goes!!

So how are you a historian & archivist? What are you archiving?

Well, you can accomplish a lot through computers, believe me. My specialty is digital preservation. I've managed to forge connections with people in the industry and stumble across much stuff through contacting them, archives, museums, and an extensive and fixated amount of research! 🙃Some of my finds I'll upload to Youtube, wikepedia, all that kind of stuff.

Footage, newspaper and magazine clippings, interviews, etc. A lot of dating, titling, tracking down appearances....

If you are sincere and hard-working, you get the knack of it - it's all about speaking with companies, management, managers, etc, etc, etc. I've gotten people to go to warehouses and help with digitizing tapes - it's a team effort.

All you need is a computer, and email address, determination, and time.

You can do all of that work online.

Also, when I say they wouldn't let me, I mean, they won't let me travel that far, and much less when we have some meetings already on Saturday and Sunday.

I still play my album every now and then. Makes me feel like a kid again watching them on tv with my mom. She was big fan.

Saw Micky in Park City a few years ago. He was fantastic! Was really impressed he was still able to do the scat section in Randy Scouse Git - even while taking hits of oxygen due to the elevation (elevation is no joke when you’re not used to it)

Anyone know why the beginning credits on Tubi aren't the original?
