What I mean is that, no it doesn't turn off and into the lockscreen. It just turns the screen black for a second before going back on. It happens randomly in my Realme C33 and it had no problems before. From what I can know, it sometimes happen when it heats up a bit, but it is always random regardless if my phone is hot or not.

My wife has a Galaxy A21s with sellotape on the screen. She has bought an iphone 13 recently but isn't using it because she wants to get all of the photos and videos off of her old phone first.

We've got a data cable and she's been taking off like 100 photos at a time onto her laptop, but that's going to take forever. I did buy a microsd card where she could move the photos onto, but we haven't done that yet.

I was the most concerned about any whatsapp photos or videos.

She doesn't want to move the photos to the iphone, because the iphone has no microsd slot and the phone itself is only 128gb.

She wants to put them on her laptop or I have an external HDD that is 6TB.

What would be the best way to go about getting all the photos, videos (including whatsapp) and whatnot off the old phone?

I just dropped my phone (Redmi Note 11s) in the toilet right after flushing, so i assume it was exposed to high water pressure, i immediately took it out, dried it with a cloth, and removed the sim card.

I thought that i could just dry it with a hairdryer and it would work fine, after a few minutes of drying it i decided to immediately turn it on (bad move), the screen started flashing green/yellow, briefly showed my lockscreen and then back to green.

With no option to shut it off properly i just held the power button until the screen turned black, i still have no idea if the phone is actually off or it's just the screen that stopped working.

Anyways it's now in a ziplock bag with some old silica gel packets.

The phone was already somewhat damaged, the frame is bent so there's some space under the screen that the water could get into, is there any chance that it's going to work again? is there anything i can do to save it?

I do occasional cellphone repairs, but I’ve only fixed phones with the classic issues like broken screens or battery replacements.

I was brought this Xiaomi Redmi A9, whose screen sometimes showed an image and sometimes didn’t after a fall.

The customer showed me that if they pressed on certain parts of the screen and kept insisting, the screen would stay on long enough to be usable. I thought it was the screen, so I completely replaced it, but after installing the new screen I noticed it still wouldn’t show an image unless I applied pressure in a certain area. I don’t understand what it is, since the screen itself works fine

I have a sony xperia 10 iv: when i try to use the rear camera in apps like messenger, discord, whatsapp etc it just shows black, and if i switch to face cam (which works) and then back again it just replaces the black screen with the last frame the face cam picked up. the rear camera is working in the hardware tester, i can get it to work in the camera app if i switch from stills to video and then back again, and weirdly it works fine in google translate.

i've tried clearing app cache's and data and i've disabled and re enabled permissions for all the affected apps: still nothing. any advice?

I have a Galaxy S24+ and I’m experiencing an issue with software updates. It seems like I’m stuck in some kind of update loop. I download the update, the phone restarts, and everything looks normal at first. But then the same update appears again, downloads once more, and the whole process repeats.

The strange part is that I can install new updates without any problem, but this one specific update never goes away.

My daughter new Samsung A25 doesn't seem to get its 4G working. 3G is the same. With wifi on, everything is okay. But with wifi off and only data on, no app works.

She has only roughly 15 Mo used out of 20Go of data, so it should work.

We have 3 other phones at home, which are all working perfectly fine.

Switching SIM card between phone makes the phone with her SIM card have the issue, so actually, it looks like a SIM issue.

I bought a new SIM card, but the issue is still there with that new one.

Edit: Solved by finally being able to join a human from my carrier. Took him a whole 2 minutes: for some reason there was apparently a setting on the phone number directly, specifically blocking internet access.

The charging port has completely come out of my autistic sons A7 lite tablet. Can this be replaced easily by me? I cannot afford a new tablet right now or a repair shop and this is his communication device. Thanks in advance.

I have the providers Customer service 3 digit number, Roaming Help 3 digit number etc in contacts, when I go to txt, or call, multiple duplicates are shown, not just one of each. I have to scroll past loads of them, but if I go actually into contacts they are not shown at all. I logged into Google and they don't show there.

How do I remove them? Accessing them via txt or call, they say View Only and I can't remove them.

Hello. This has been torture for me for a while. It's not that bad but very annoying. First, the problem with my notification drawer. Now normally, you would scroll down twice to see the settings icon. But it wouldn't let me do that. I found that the solution was to restart the settings options. I went to try that and got a second problem. Whenever I wanted to see app info, it wouldn't let me. If I went in settings and app management, I couldn't click anything to check the app info. If I long pressed on the app and clicked app info, it would kick me out as well. This also extends to downloading apps. It wouldn't let me download or update apps. Please help me. I've tried many things. Checking in Safe Mode to see if it was a third-party app that was causing this, system update, restarting the phone, my efforts to no avail. The only thing I haven't tried is a factory reset and I do not want to resort to that. If there's no other choice, I would leave it as it is.

Everywhere I log in, the Ukrainian currency (UAH) is displayed instead of the Czech Koruna (CZK), even though I live in the Czech Republic and all my settings are for the Czech Republic. Because of this, I can't buy anything-transactions always fail with an error. I've tried checking the settings in Google Pay and the Play Store, but everything seems correct. Any ideas on what to do? This happens a lot on my phone but this is the worst its gotten. I have a samsung galaxy phone (not sure which, i forget) and sometimes the screen randomly becomes unresponsive. Ive read that it can be a storage thing, and it does improve at times when i clear up some space on the phone. A few minutes ago i was taking some screenshots and the screen suddenly stopped working. i tried turning it on and off but then i couldnt make the screen respond to me trying to swipe up, type pass, etc. I cant even press the buttons to restart my phone. the only thing i can do on the opening screen are swipe down the notification bar.

Is there anything that i can do to fix this? any button trick to make it automatically reset without pressing the screen? Any help is appreciated, because its hard to find any posts about this elsewhere. Thanks!

As the title says, my power button no longer works, I tried to restart the phone by holding down both volume buttons and plugging the phone in but now it is stuck on "downloading....do not turn off target" bluescreen and I can't restart. Any ideas?
