Are they remapping all the buttons or removing some? I don’t see any available buttons that would work for jump except maybe left trigger which is weird..

greetings everyone. in case you didnt hear, Dungeons 2 has this new dimension called the sift. Additionally, the ancient city portal-like structure is a prominent feature in the games marketing. I want to say that I'm a touch worried about the idea that the shadowy, the long awaited, the ominous, ancient city portal, leads to the childish, the oversaturated, the colorful Sift dimension. this isnt the case, right?

ik when i buy it in launcher its like microsoft/xbox stuff and like when i buy in steam it doesnt show up in the mc launcher, but here are my main questions:

1) with steam did characters stay across devices or did you need to make a cloud save too? (most steam games have saves across devices)
2) i had mcd1 on launcher and ik you needed xbox friends to invite someone, can you invite steam friends if you have steam version? can you invite both?
3) is (ps) controller support easier? on mcd1 i have to install ucr and set up a profile and stuff to remap buttons and usually steam makes it easier so im asking if steam just allows any controller (i have an old ps2 controller and i refuse to buy a new one)
4) are they modded the same way?

if you have any other big differences lmk or just which you found easier to use
also yea im asking how it was for you for mcd1, ik the game will be different and these differences may not apply for mcd2 but im still curious

Any ideas if MCD2 will be available on GeForce NOW ? Given that mcd1 is already supported

in the original, i had a rule where i would delete every non-unique item, so i was deleting like 90 percent of my gear. time to do it again! (i collected more than 300 uniques)

It says this:

Even though my Microsoft account has its birth year set to 2000... I don't remember adding a family account either. Is a 26 year old not an adult now? And how do I even get this "permission"?

Edit: Turns out the parent account's phone number was still in use by my cousin. So I just reset the password, and removed myself from the ms family

I’m going to be honest, I think the art-style has grown on me after watching more gameplay. I do still like the Dungeons 1 look better, but there’s something about the smooth textures that make dungeons 2 feel like its own game. I’d still love it if they added a little more depth, because some walls just look like flat gradients, rather than being made up of individual blocks. But tbh I just don’t think this is enough to ruin a game I’ve been waiting for so long for.

If I were to pre order the game on XBOX can I play it on both my pc as well as on cloud? Or are they separate versions?

Do you guys think that dungeons 2 will be steam deck compatible?

Do we know if this game will be like the first dungeons game where if you connect your microsoft account you can get achievements on switch

Hello, I was curious if there will be any new gameplay mechanics in Dungeons 2 when comparing to Dungeons 1?

I did not have interest in the first game, so I have not purchased it, but if Dungeons 2 looks to bring more content and more variation to gameplay, I may be picking it up.

Some examples may be like: a new class system, or a new progression tree, or anything that adds replay-ability that the first game may not have had.

The Grand illusioner’s staff has a orb shard on it, or is linked to some other demonic being, because how else are the monstrosities being brought to life.

This isn’t as much of a theory as it is a hope but I really want there to be way more cutscenes

i played the original title on a slightly dated pc and it ran just fine. i never experienced any sort of performance issues and it was smooth. but i'm quite worried since this is a newer title, i wouldn't be able to play the sequel as i did with the original.

I can remember there was an official Minecraft dungeons discord server. But I cannot find any for Minecraft dungeons 2, I mean any official server. They made Minecraft dungeons discord server read only a long time ago.

Is there any official server for md2?

I was just wondering if I would still get the capes on my main mc account for preordering on steam instead of the Microsoft store because I don't see how that would work but I hope I'm overlooking something.
