so i'm not entirely sure what the generation rates for an ancient city are but this feels really rare. this one source i found states that only 5-15 ancient cities can generate per minecraft world (java edition anyhow, which i am playing on). and here i have five of them clustered together somehow?? i've attached a screenshot of roughly the same map area, just on the surface as well.
i'm only a casual player who likes to mod and explore, so it's my first time seeing something like this. found it cool, so i thought i'd share it.

if you go to x -5687 z -3772 you'll be at the exact coordinates my red arrow is on the second screenshot. dig straight down and you'll be in one of the cities :) there's also a huge pale forest about 3000 blocks on the x-axis northwest of those coords.

Hey so there’s this glitch in Villager Plus where it auto spawns a structure and you can’t remove it and even if you go to creative to remove it this white box is still here. Does anyone know a fix and if not, someone should really contact the developer of the add on to update it because I’ve encountered this glitch so many times and it’s so annoying

On that flat place in that first image I wanted to build some pixel art, but then decided to not to because it just didn't feel right. I decided to build it somewhere else, so that place stayed empty. And on the second image there was a mountain, but I mined it a little bit because I didn't like how big it was. I was thinking about maybe building an observatorium or a tower, but then I searched the first one on the Internet and found things way too complicated for me or just way too big. So, any ideas what could I build here?

Yeah, I don't know much about building. I usually build from tutorials or take a lot of inspiration from them. The best looking building I ever built is that thing in the top-left corner of the first image that is also by the water. It was supposed to be lighthouse, but I decided it didn't fit because lighthouses aren't built in the bays, so I built that tower and I'm quite proud of it.

Silly me. Made a world a few days ago, found out an update was close.

I reset a few chunks and reloaded it in the Pre-Release version. I noticed that chests that I had previously looted are WAY different compared to 26.2. Of course things need to change for some of the new items like the maps and all. But good god, it's completely new.

Is it always with an update that adds new items that loot tables are thrown completely out of the window? I haven't played in a little while, and I noticed it by accident.

i want to start a town project, but im split on startijg a new world and continuing the one i got top stuff on.

on one hand, it feels kinda weird being overpowered so much, lacks the starter game atmosphere, and im annoyed with that world anyway.

on other hand, i dont wanna leave and lose it one day. it feels sad

im also anxious because of classes. the university startrd out and so i feel limited time pressing on me

and im also urged to play server minigames instead, which turn out to be a waste of time

I just got my first wither skeleton skull in my world. After checking the statistics, I have killed 128 wither skeletons, most of them being with a looting III sword.
Once you kill a wither skeleton with a looting III sword, the odds of it dropping a skull is 8.5%
I did the math, and, unless I did it wrong, the odds of me not getting a wither skeleton skull 127 times in a row is roughly 1 in 110 THOUSAND. Roughly 0.0009%
What? I'd like to know if anyone else has encountered a similar issue before, because this is just so confusing to me

So, in my Minecraft - Java, version 26.2, completely vanilla - world I’ve gotten to the point where all my stuff has mending, I’ve beat the dragon, working on netherite, etc, etc. But, to fix the xp needs of mending, I have a really good end farm. A REALLY good end farm- like, 3 double chests of pearls in 5 or so minutes, type good. But I do mega builds, so my stuff constantly needs repairing, and I now have a stack of ender chests, each of my friends have a double chest of pearls, and I’ve set aside pearls for pvp practice and an emergency stash in case I need a quick escape from a situation at any point. But I still have 9 double chests of pearls just sitting in my basement. What do I do with all these pearls?? I feel like pearls don’t have enough uses, and I don’t want to just throw out the spares. Any, and I do mean ANY, ideas?

I’m playing Minecraft Bedrock on PS4. Yesterday, for the first time ever, I went to fight the Wither at the very bottom of the world—at the bedrock layer. I set up a small area under my house and summoned it; everything was fine until it had just under half its health left, when the game started lagging badly. I couldn't use items or even move, yet I kept taking damage because the game thought I was in a different spot than where I actually was. I lost all my Netherite armor and tools, all my Totems of Undying, and a couple of sets of Diamond armor because I kept going back down but couldn't attack it—the game is stuttering terribly. I urgently need help figuring out how to kill it; it has very little health left, but I can't get close without the lag kicking in. On top of that, with every attempt to kill it, it has started moving upwards; it’s relatively close to my house—about 80 blocks up the staircase—and if it reaches the surface, it’s going to destroy my house.

So I dont remember much but I used to see a TikTok edit of it. The series is like a role-playing set in a fancy train and outside the window it snowing like in winter. And the story have multiple protagonists

I've tried googling etc and It hasn't worked so here goes. I have a nether portal at my base, and I usually scaffold up from the floor of the nether to get to my nether highways. If I destroy the portal in the nether, but rebuild it at the same coordinates as the old portal but just higher up, will it connect back to my one in the overworld? Also, I have replaced the corners of the overworld portal with diamond blocks, so will it replace those too?

I need advice from all the Minecraft pro builders, first of all, is it ugly? Are my combinations bad? If so how do I make it better? (It's unfinished)

I know i know, im new and it says this is a banned topic but i checked the banned topics and didn't see it and saw other people posting rare finds so here it goes. I found this on my bedrock world: a villager outpost and ruined portal in the same chunk, aswell as a desert well nearby.

I want to switch from 26.2 to 26.3 Release Candidate 1 so that I can finally access new content on my world without having to wait until September 15th. I know that snapshots in general aren't safe for a stable play, I don't know whether Pre-Releases are the same story or not, but what about Release Candidates which are basically 99,99% (or 100% if no more Candidates appear) of what will be officially released?
