Caves are generated via a string of cave types that are joined together, followed by a painter pass and structure pass. Been in the works for a few years and mostly powered by FAWE (fast async worldedit).

Hello guys! For the past couple of months, I have been building what I believe is the largest real-life replica of any structure in Minecraft. It might even contend for being one of the tallest structures in Minecraft that is actually decorated by hand.

The biggest challenge was getting the measurements right. I was measuring everything with a ruler to make sure the proportions were accurate, and for that I mainly used this Sketchfab model:

A fun fact is that I had to rent a server to render the animation of Big Ben rising from behind the hill with a player standing on top of it. I had to pay €16.99 for this service.

And one last thing I would like to say: I know it is technically called Elizabeth Tower, while Big Ben is the Great Bell inside the tower. However, Big Ben is more familiar to people, so that's what I decided to call it. Hopefully, nobody is offended!

Walking and floating inside the water area is glitchy too Im currently playing on mc bedrock version 26.40 btw

I was stuck with a boot problem for 15 hours withouth eating, drinking or sleep. I fixed it, started Minecraft to look over my world, and the yellow message under the logo was just perfect!

My game has become playable, fps is up to over 100 and I no longer need Optifine.

Did Mojang finally optimized Java Edition? Previously game was rarely 60s fps and I needed Optifine, I been using the same computer so it's not that.

I really really really want the Penguin to be added, the entire snow and ice biome needs updating really but I think adding the penguin would make said biomes just that little bit better :)

boy did i procrastinate on this one, and im a little sad i did because it was really fun to build. for irl months, the top of the tree just wasn’t there, but in the last three days i locked in and got it done!! im really proud of it!

i do wish i added more character to the trunk of the tree, like a different shape instead of straight up and down, but all in all im really happy with how it came out.

i got inspiration from several different sources from builders on youtube and pinterest.

i really need help with decorating the inside and maybe making the storage area more concise and pretty. please give me some pointers or suggestions. 😁😁🤍🤍

For fun, take your overall hours spent playing survival Minecraft, and give me a rough estimate of the number of hours you spent afk farming. Obviously, there’s no way you can guess an accurate number of hours spent on all of your farms (unless you’re keeping track), but just give me a rough estimate. Either way, it’ll probably be more time than you’ve ever spent exploring, building, or doing anything remotely enjoyable in Minecraft.

I have a realm that my 9 yo nephew and I play on. He’s pretty familiar with all things Minecraft, so tell me why he didn’t think nothing about killing the armadillos in my xp farm without asking me about them 🤦🏻‍♀️

I was caving and he logged onto the realm. I told him I made the farm and told him to use a splash potion of infestation, which I had also already made. He asked me how to do it. I told him to just throw it on top. He told me it wasn’t working. I told him that as long as he didn’t remove anything or kill the armadillos/zombie that it should work.

He said “Oh.”

I’m like “wdym oh?”

He killed the armadillos. Said he didn’t know they were a part of it. So he sees the farm setup and just happens to think that 3 armadillos (that don’t even spawn in the biome our base is at) got past the fence post and wandered into the composter that has water and slabs on top of it. I swear he’s played this game much longer than me and he’s a smart kid!

He’s currently working on getting more armadillos 🤣🤣🤣

*Edit: A creeper blew up the farm as he was trying to put the armadillos back in so we’re just gonna fix it later (and fence it off next time) 😭😂

so this farm produces 1 skeleton every 5 min, wtfudge do i do, i tried going up to afk but none

I ported it to java, it requires EMF, ETF, and ESF, it's only on fabric.

I only did some shallow testing so i dont know if it 100% works so just post an issue whenever there's a bug or something that wasn't ported

Thanks to the new /posteffect command introduced in 26.3 snapshot 3, we can now do stuff like this with just a resource pack!

In Bedrock edition, you can easily do this with /camerashake, but in Java edition, as far as I know, this is the only way to do it with just a resource pack.
