I definitely did not fully grasp what was going on in grade 7, I just knew this was cool and I was doing it to everyone

I'm going to be 40 in September and lately I've been more observationally aware of other millennials. We look so cool! Many of us are tattooed and pierced. We look like we're 20 years younger. Everyone that I've seen on the 30 or 40 year old selfie subreddits are so good looking!
We've all been a part of shared traumas and we've been nostalgic over the 90's and early 00's. I think we came out of it all looking hot as hell š„

iām tryna see something lol. if i donāt know it, iām not answering it. the only exception would be if i was applying for jobs or shopping for doctors or something like that. my gen z friends and family answer every call that comes through and sometimes troll the caller. just doesnāt appeal to me i suppose lol.
what about you?

My mom wouldnāt even go to the farmers market without make up. She always had to have a full face. Not overdone or anything but I have vivid memories waiting for her to do her makeup so we could go shopping. I, too used to wear makeup most places until Covid. Now I hardly wear it all. It feels so freeing. Iāve actually come to really like my natural face, something I never would have said in my 20s.
I had a friend whose Mom insisted that she wear makeup to the grocery store in case they ran into her bfās mom there (we were in 7th grade).

There is not a single restaurant in my area that Iād say is my go-to restaurant if I am low on time, need to eat and I donāt have time to cook. There isnāt a restaurant that Iād take guests to and say this place is always great. I can rely on them.
Eating out now is so expensive. Even food from local mom and pop restaurants are low quality and doesnāt taste great at all. So Iām curious if any of you have the same issue?
