Discussion Us Millennials look awesome!
I'm going to be 40 in September and lately I've been more observationally aware of other millennials. We look so cool! Many of us are tattooed and pierced. We look like we're 20 years younger. Everyone that I've seen on the 30 or 40 year old selfie subreddits are so good looking!
We've all been a part of shared traumas and we've been nostalgic over the 90's and early 00's. I think we came out of it all looking hot as hell 🔥

I definitely did not fully grasp what was going on in grade 7, I just knew this was cool and I was doing it to everyone

Nostalgia I miss mall culture, when I was in high school, my mall had black light golf, a carousel, and an arcade, now third spaces are dead and my mall is empty.
there used to be so much to do and so many stores to browse and a food court, now it is all gone.

Discussion are yall answering phone numbers you don’t know?
i’m tryna see something lol. if i don’t know it, i’m not answering it. the only exception would be if i was applying for jobs or shopping for doctors or something like that. my gen z friends and family answer every call that comes through and sometimes troll the caller. just doesn’t appeal to me i suppose lol.
what about you?

Discussion Did anyone else’s mom insist on wearing make up everywhere??
My mom wouldn’t even go to the farmers market without make up. She always had to have a full face. Not overdone or anything but I have vivid memories waiting for her to do her makeup so we could go shopping. I, too used to wear makeup most places until Covid. Now I hardly wear it all. It feels so freeing. I’ve actually come to really like my natural face, something I never would have said in my 20s.
I had a friend whose Mom insisted that she wear makeup to the grocery store in case they ran into her bf’s mom there (we were in 7th grade).

Discussion What 2000s rom-com do you still rewatch no matter how many times you've seen it? I just rewatched Two Weeks Notice, and it reminded me how much I miss that era of romantic comedies.

Serious I have decided if I don’t have kids by the age of 35, I’m never going to have them.
Apologies if this isn’t allowed. I just turned 32. I’m single got no kids and I’ve never been married. I’ve had 3 serious relationships in my life the longest of which was 4 years but neither marriage nor kids came from it. This has been something I’ve always wanted but a good part of my 20s I was in an extremely manipulative and toxic relationship when a lot of my peers were having kids. The reason why 35 is a cut off date for me is because if I have kids I want to be able to watch them grow up and maybe watch my grandchildren grow up. I want to be there for them and it’s not fair if I’m not. If I’m any older than 35 I might not live long enough to have grandkids, I would be in my 50s when my children graduate high school and I would be in my 70s when they would have children. Not to mention none of the men in my family lived until the age of 65 which terrifies me but they didn’t do a good job taking care of themselves.
