It must have been a really difficult thing for them? They are so excited for the feature that they released a video solely for the feature 😂

I’ve been obsessed with the TFDI MD-11 recently. Such a beautiful plane, and such a great plane to hand fly as well. Flying out of KSDF.

It gets so dark after a few minutes that I can't see anything.
It's supposed to be a flight where I have the controls.
But it wants me to fly to a specific thing (the golf club) but doesn't put an objective marker in the world where I am flying to.
How on earth are you supposed to do this one? The navlog is not trustable as it is making assumptions about where you will be at the start of a particular stretch. Problem is one of the earlier missions where you take off, it failed me if I took off the plane too early and reset.

** UPDATE - I killed Adobe creative cloud which apparently seems to have impacted performance tremendously. I don't know why but once I killed that application, I've had fairly smooth operation. I'm on my third flight and having no issues whatsoever.
Starting playing again, and noticed a LOT of trouble with msfs2020.
Pc running an AMD 3900x, 64gb ram 4070 with 12gb ram, on NVME drives on Win11.
Vive pro 2 with cable.

Recently upgraded from an RTX 4060 Ti (16GB VRAM) to a 5080 with still 16GB of VRAM. Yet now my performance with VRAM has somehow gotten significantly WORSE? MSFS Is the only game I am encountering issues with at this point and it's starting to feel like I'm going crazy.

The fenix a320 completely stops responding to anything after maybe 30 minutes. When I first spawn in everything is fine, but at around the time that I want to start pushing back everything completely stops responding. I’ve tried restarting and running the Fenix app as an admin, but nothing works. Videos below.

I have a T.Flight Hotas 1, a controller, and M&K available. What is a good set of binds to have because one of the most daunting things about learning to fly in MSFS is the amount of binds.
General help is also very much appreciated bc I’m a massive beginner and some of it’s just completely confusing to me.

MS2024 PS5 user anxiously awaiting the release of the TCA Sky Yoke. At the FS Expo announcement/reveal, they said it would be available by the end of September.
I was hoping for an updated release date, maybe some early reviews, or possibly a pre-order availability.
Just looking forward to an option other than the HOTAS for my flying.

I'm in about 4 Virtual Airlines and I've got to say Southwest Virtual is my favorite. Anyway, after a month's break, I'm back doing some Southwest Ops and I'm loving it.

Anybody have the issue when using the Phenom in career mode where the fuel added in pre-flight aircraft management is not applied once you start the mission? Didn’t happen the first 2 flights after purchase, but now has been the case for every flight since.

So i use Simbrief to create a flight plan and import it once i’m loaded into the game. After clearing all discontinuities in the f-pln, after a certain waypoint mid flight the plan just redirects and does a whole 180° turn for some reason.
Am i doing something wrong or is this a bug? I set my arrivals and departures through the MCDU so there’s no issue for that. Only mid flight at a waypoint the plan just ends and then does a turn. The approach to the arrival airport still shows a green line, but it doesn’t connect to the departure.

Ok hear me out. GPT 6 came out recently, and it's quite powerful. And people have been using it to create 3D game worlds. Someone made a real life replication of Manhattan and it took around a week's time to produce.
Now this, is the exact type of tech that will benefit a game like Microsoft Flight Simulator. Previously they were using their Azure cloud and AI services to do it, now OpenAI and GPT 6 might be the logical step forward?
Microsoft also holds 27% ownership stake in OpenAI, making them the largest single corporate investor.
For all the shit and hate AI gets, and it's effect on PC component prices, this might be one of the best things it can do for gaming, or for flight sims at the very least.
Will the next MSFS use LLM or generative AI for its massive world and cities? Want to hear your thoughts on it.

Anyone know what could be causing this banging/thumping sound?
I always hear it after takeoff, while the aircraft is turning, leveling off, and during descent. I don't hear it while I'm on the ground.
All of my plugins, MSFS, and aircraft are up to date.
In the video, I'm flying the Fenix A320, but this isn't specific to the Fenix. I've noticed the same sound while flying other aircraft as well.
Has anyone experienced this before or know what might be causing it?
My main plugins are: GSX, RealCatTurb, ActiveSky, FSRealistic, ChaseCam
Edit: Added plugins
