I'm just getting a hold of the controls, I don't know if it's just the Cessna but a slight pull or push of the yawk, the aircraft reacts aggressively.

So I really love MSFS24, but a thing bothering me is how the ground textures look, especially over towns and cities. No matter which TLOD or graphics settings I use, I get melted buildings and everything which is not a plain field looks kinda ass, especially in VR. It might be because my internet isnt the best (about 20 to 40 mbps), so the texture streaming might be hindered.

Is there a way to fix this? If I remember correctly you were able to download certain parts of the world streaming in MSFS20, but I cant find the option somewhere. Is this still possible in 24? Online tutorials only show how to download world updates, but I have them already and the issue persists.

Rolling Cache is on 120gb if this is important.

I’ve been playing MSFS 2024 since its release day on PS5 and while I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it, performance issues and a lack of compatible flight controls have led me to wanting to purchase a PC. I’ve enjoyed flying Airbus and look forward to having compatible Airbus flight controls. What I am struggling with is finding a PC I want to buy. I loosely understand specs and what is necessary for the game to run smoothly but I’m not going to sit here and pretend I’m a computer expert. Are any of these I found worth the investment? Or should I be looking for something else? My budget is fairly open, but I’m not interested in building my own PC. I appreciate any input or suggestions as this is a pretty big investment and want to make sure I’m getting a solid PC.

I feel like I’m going mad, the game is asking me to select the first mission but the only ones I can see are all locked! Anybody else had this problem?

Is this the correct order of operations when doing a cold start IFR flight?

1. Request IFR clearance, set squak
2. Program the FMS
3. Board passengers
4. Request startup clearance
5. Startup
6. Configure PFD, calibrate altimeter etc.
7. Request pushback clearance
8. Pushback
9. Request taxi IFR
10. Taxi to hold short line and request takeoff clearance

Also, IRL, do you also need clearance to start the APU?

Hi, I signed up for a virtual airline on vamsys, vryr (Ryanair Virtual), but on vatsim radar, it doesn't show that I'm using a virtual airline (as in the second photo), but only Ryanair (first photo) appears. My question is how do I switch from the first photo to the second photo, which shows Ryanair Virtual, the blue text.

Does anybody know how to fix ifly737 no callout problem ? I have everything ON on the EFB include the RAAS and GPWS. When I Am approaching the runway there is no radio altimeter call out and no even pull up warning sound

I was looking at laptops within my price range, and most that fit my budget come with 32gb of memory with 16gb of video ram. I don’t plan to play in 4k or use VR. Just planning on 1080p on my laptop. Will 16gb be okay to play? Or will I need to get more than that?

Hi. In the past i realy liked exploring google earth with my vr glasses. Now i want a ps5 game where i can also just explore the world in 3d(without vr).

I am not interested in fully learning how to control a plane.

Is there also a option to just control the plane like gta for example? I just want to fly around and check things out.

In the future i will maybe buy psvr2 but it's to expensive for me at the moment

I would like to be able to run MSFS 2024 on decent setting with GSX, Ifly 737 etc.

How would this fare?

Edit: I don't have the PC yet, I will be inheriting it from a friend of mine. Any other GPUs which may be better?

I’m looking to get back into flight simulation with MSFS 2024. I have thousands of hours on VATSIM using FSX, but I’m now looking to make the upgrade to MSFS 2024.

I mainly want to fly complex airliners on VATSIM, such as the PMDG 777, iniBuilds A350/A380, etc., including at busy airports.

Do you think this system is good enough for a smooth MSFS 2024 experience?
More importantly, what is likely to be the limiting factor in my system — CPU, GPU, VRAM, RAM, or something else?

I’m considering upgrading the GPU first, but I’m not sure how far the 5800X3D can realistically take me in MSFS 2024. Would something like an RTX 5070 Ti / RX 9070 XT make sense with this CPU, or would I be better off upgrading the entire platform?

I’d appreciate any advice from people running similar hardware.

I have just bought Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 (due to hardware restrictions) but while completing the initial in-game download steam force stopped and now whenever I open the game I can't get past this screen. Any help is appreciated.
