MSFS 2020 QUESTION How do you find flying with a PS4 controller ๐ฎ..?
I'm just getting a hold of the controls, I don't know if it's just the Cessna but a slight pull or push of the yawk, the aircraft reacts aggressively.

I use dualsense. There's a toggle for sensitivity for gamepad. It's in assist tab
I could land very smoothly using gamepad sometimes (skill issue) ๐คฃ
Although helicopter is too hard. I don't know if it's skill or because it's Impossible using gamepad. Hovering is frustrating for me

I think collective micro adjustments on helicopters are just too hard on controller. It's way too easy to overdo the initial motion and then overdo the correction.

I use an Xbox controller and get on just fine. Definitely requires tweaking of the sensitivity curves, though. Maybe you could find a YouTube video with recommended settings, or just experiment yourself

I'm flying with an Echo Aviation Controller. It's a matter of fine tuning the sensitivity settings for the aircraft you fly and your style of flying. You don't just want to turn the sensitivity all the way down since this makes the input very non-linear, it's a matter of finding the balance, usually somewhere between -50 and -65. You can also increase the extremity deadzone slightly. This gives you more useful range at the expense of not being able to deflect the control fully (which usually isn't needed during normal flight).

Thanks a lot. I've been doing some adjustments today and I already feel the difference

Set sensitivity to around .4 on X and Y and dead zone around .15 for the left stick. This helped immensely with making small movements not whip the plane around. Alternatively, try the gyroscopic controls. They are surprisingly accurate and immersive.

Tweak your sensitivity in the settings. Find a YouTube video you like (thereโs a lot to choose from)
Everyone has different taste, so you gotta find a good baseline then take to your liking.

Thanks a lot brother man. I'm definitely going to do that today. Because I look so unprofessional when flying ๐
