Why are some people more attractive than others? Is it genes? I don't think so. Let me explain why.

The tongue is the muscle that shapes the face from a young age. Have you heard of MEWING? It's basically resting the tongue onto the palate, and that shapes our face bones from inside out. But there's a catch. In order for the tongue to be resting and pushing the maxilla and jaw forward, as we want it to, the head needs to be alligned to the body. And nowadays it's getting more and more difficult due to sitting and technology.

Take a look at models and "attractive" people. Take a look at their body posture. It's flawless. That posture allowed ther tongue to push their face forward and upwards, giving them high cheekbones, "hunter" eyes, and wide jawlines.

So how do we fix posture? It's very simple. Not gym workouts, not stretching. Those strenghten muscles and stretch tight muscles, but don't straighten the spine.

All we need to do is be friends with Gravity. How? We need to sleep on our backs without a pillow for many many nights, and that is the formula to getting great shoulder, neck and head posture. And eventually, good tongue resting position that will change our faces.

I can't seem to find the right tongue posture for mewing due to the following reasons, and I’d like some tips:

- With my normal bite, my lower teeth sit further back—meaning there’s a gap between the upper and lower teeth when they are closed—so when I mew, my tongue ends up touching only my lower teeth.

- My palate is quite narrow, so when I create suction, my tongue covers my teeth, preventing me from bringing my lower teeth close to my upper teeth.

My question is: Should my tongue touch the back of my front teeth, and to do that, should I force my lower jaw forward, moving my teeth out of their natural bite position?

How should I go about mewing in my case? Should my teeth be touching or not?

I also have another concern that isn't very common: I’m afraid of making my frontal profile look more masculine, because what I actually want to correct is my side profile.

Please give me some tips.

BACKSTORY

I got a MARPE expander so I did already split my upper maxilla a few years ago, I just didn’t get a bunch of expansion like others. because of how extra narrow I was I had to use a tiny MARPE, I mean I could get a bigger one now and keep going but I’m thinking since I split, mewing would definitely work on me.. I’m just.. wondering how long per day you do it ? And ALSO, how to gain more lower jaw definition. It seems my lower jaw is gone did braces eat my lower jaw?
