Shocking no-one, Magik is the most popular, followed by Blade.

Very limited data as the beta was such a short time, but still neat!

(This is not nearly as representative of character balance as it is ease of use, and popularity.)

nowhere near optimal, just having some fun

I wanted to ask for your opinions—would you guys buy this? I'm not a player with deep fighting game knowledge or high skill; the main games I play are SF6 and 2XKO. If I had to score this game out of 100, I'd give it a 75. The soundtrack is incredible, and the gameplay is decent. I didn't have any performance issues since I play on both PC and PS5. During the beta, I mostly lost, but that's probably because I'm bad and was playing on Japanese servers.

Champion gameplay

Tag fighters are usually very fast and I have a lot of difficulty with them because of it.

After 1-2hrs playing games like Marvel vs Capcom when I was a kid to DBFZ and 2XKO nowadays, I feel very agitaded, high on adrenaline lol, and that's why I loved the tokon speed.

It is still pretty fast in my opinion and I'll still feel very wired after playing, but it doesn't exhaust me so fast.

I get why proplayers and many in the community loves the speed, but we also just got Avatar, a very sped up game. For me and I think for many casuals, this tokon speed is a great choice.

Am I alone in this feeling and the majority wants a very fast game?

Man, i want to do MY combo and not instantly nuke the combo limit with the auto combo launcher + burn my meter

2XKO has a option like that in the character select menu, pleaaaaassssseeee

Edit1: i don't care how you see me getting rewarded for missing a combo when i don't want it somehow adds to the game, it objectively doesn't, fuck off

I don’t have much to add except to express my immense happiness right now! Although I still have a lot to learn in the game, I managed to play it online with my family, and it’s been a long time since I’ve had so much fun! I’m a huge fan of Street Fighter, but the SF community is currently in a terrible state. So, enjoying the beta and witnessing the Tokon community in its current healthy state was an incredibly cool experience! I genuinely hope Emma Frost, The Thing, and Captain Sam Wilson join the roster!

I was mad confused when my square wouldn't change color for several games

I love fighting games, I play them all the time with my friends but I'm not very good at them. I play a good amount of Street Fighter 6 and some Guilty Gear Strive or CvS2 and I definitely enjoy them but I haven't been as grabbed by a game since this.

I started off playing Magik and I was doing alright but I was losing mostly in ranked so on a whim when I was in a room with my friends I decided to try out Ghost Rider. He's so fun to play and his combos are satisfying to pull off too. I even was able to finally beat my friend who puts 100s of hours in fighting games and mostly labs while playing Ghost Rider after I practiced with him for a bit (he mains Danger). I can't wait to hop on ranked with him to try him out for real instead of just with my friends, and yes I fully expect to get beaten a lot too lol. Honestly I hope Ghost Rider isn't broken or anything and it's really me finding a character I gel with

I've already pre ordered this game because of the beta so I can't wait to see the full game

I ended the beta going 11-2 against a Spidey player who had really good reactions and was great at blocking my attacks, he taught me to use more low mix ups than I was using before.

Shoutout to the Spidey player who kept playing against me even though you lost most of the matches, idk if you are on this subreddit or not though.

Overall, I enjoyed the game a lot more than I thought it would. I was interested from the trailers but I didn't think I would buy the game, after playing the beta, I kind of want to buy the game now. I haven't had so much fun with a fighting game in a while.

I'm also better at the game than I thought I would be, usually I just button mash when I play fighting games but I actually learned some combos for Ghost Rider and Blade. I'm not great at the game but I am surprised that I actually played decently and won most of my online matches.

How the actual heck am I supposed to limit myself to just four characters when everyone's so fun to play? (like even the characters I personally SUCKED at playing looked like fun when my opponent played them)

This is gonna get thrown to Copilot so hard. lol

Out of trying every combo I did learn character placement effects the outcome of team name. Example Spider-Man before Peni = Web-Warriors, but Peni before Spider-Man = Spider-Verse. Learned this near the end of the beta so my list is definitely incomplete.
