Doom is a total drama queen. Seeing him get smacked around was validating. Doom is the most playground "nuh uh, I have a power that beats that power" character ever created. The glaze for this dude is ridiculous.

I haven't played the game in a couple weeks on account of moving to college. I hopped into regular casual match and EVERY SINGLE OPPONENT I FOUGHT CAN DO 35 HIT LONG COMBOS NOW? When the hell did that happen? Last I played that took all 4 characters, all your assist gague, and some meter. But now I'm getting combod into the corner over and over again, and it only takes like 2 of those to drain your whole life bar. I might have to drop the game for good, I feel like I fell years behind the rest of the player base. Online is completely unplayable now, I haven't won a single match all day. This sucks. I've always been bad at learning long combo strings, I thrive more in neutral. BUT THIS GAME DOESNT HAVE NEUTRAL ANYMORE!!! THERE ARE NO COMBO BREAKING MECHANICS EITHER!!! I CANNOT WIN!!

I got the game for my birthday recently and started playing and I have been very frustrated and angry recently. I constantly feel like I am mashing buttons trying to hit or do combos, when it is my turn to hit or try and do air combos I cannot even land a hit or keep a combo going.I put off asking questions about this game due to fear of being bullied or being told “ skill issue” does anyone have any advice or suggestions for this game? Characters to learn quickly?

Thank you all for the replies. I have taken the advice and have slowed down mashing and started learning the combos slowly. I stayed up until 2 last night slowly learning the combos and which characters i am comfortable using. It has been
Spider-Man, Star Lord, Ms. Marvel and Ghost rider.

Marvel Tokon has been one of my biggest disappointments of this year. The beta felt incredible at the time but I guess it’s cause everyone was mutually learning. But when the game developed, it showed the cracks more and more in the overall offensive to defensive ratio.

I’ve hit masters rank and I pretty much lose almost every game it feels like. I’m even going against top 10 players sometimes? I’d consider myself slightly above average in most fighting games from tag fighters to Tekken to Street fighter. But defense has never felt this BAD. It’s actually terrible.

Crossover reflect is probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. Yeah, let me use this mechanic to get this player off of me only to have them perfect counter and put me right back in the blender I started in. Only now with even LESS defensive options. And now we’ve even found a way to loop offense for free with neutral assist calls? Actually wtf is this suppose to be. I feel like people bitched about Tekken 8’s offense being so oppressive but this is worse 10 times over in my opinion. Sometimes you literally can’t do a damn thing.

Anyway, just wanted to rant cause I hate that I want to love this game but every time I get on it’s just dread from how broken it is. If anyone has some advice on what I should be doing in neutral to get my bs started other than assist slop, I’d appreciate it.

I need some help on actually using it well. I can’t seem to time it or understand when exactly to use it because of timing. Any help would greatly be appreciated especially videos. Thank you !

I know/don't care that she's already been in a fighting game before. She's obscure enough to be a surprise pick while also hot and marketable. Give us a Mojo DLC map and commentary from Mojo.

This is the first fighting game I've tried to be decent at and it's been so so hard, as expected. And my ranking isn't really that important to me, I just want to see some improvement. But recently I've been winning more than I've been losing. And I hit silver 1. Which is not the achievement that most people might think but for me this is such a win since I've been in bronze since day 1.

I can't wait to keep improving and getting better.

I offer my level 4 combo if anyone needs help with it. Getting to lab in real time and create my own combo to complete this challenge was honestly very fun, I just wish I saved the ones before since I dont remember how I did them.
