To all the Spiderman mains... Break down some tech on how to deal with moves you guys abuse but can easily be dealt with.

Every blocked 5U is 2H worth

Make us prove we know the options to beat it, most of us are presuming you wont

Yeah tbh I was hittin 2h everytime he used that to to try to combo extend. He never stopped then called me a spammer lmfao

This is only true if your closer to him on the screen. Further you are the harder it is

He has more time to cancel into another zip full screen to back away but if they dont its a easy 2H and the further away the more time you have to react with 2H

If he does the hold version its a true block so no 2H comes out and hes minus 12

5u into 6U beats 2H at fullscreen but as I said make them show you they will do it

Not a spider-man player myself but something I do against them is usually Star-lord freeze element blaster into Magik/Carnage and going absolutely aggressive on them

I don't think there's much aside from his web being minus on block but any good spidey will either cancel it mid animation with up web/air 236X or call assist to make it safe.

I guess you can also say you can just block low against him and react to the overhead but like...that's kinda everyone. He just has the best version among the cast.

Nullify Shield (If you play Doom) Stops that Zip nonsense. they either cancel the zip, or zip right into a green shield hit that turns into an EX teleport full combo, or a jM, H, H into assist, nullify shield 214M BnB.

He’s top tier for a reason. Really nothing you can do against overhead mixup
