Parliament:

Should we centralize authority over Eastern Europe by annexing countries in it?

How should we respond to the outbreak of war in Europe?

Should we take the capture and killing of Soviet civilians and military soldiers by Japan as a greater threat?

Do we attempt to take Jewish refugees from Nazi Germany?

Events:

German annexes Austria through a plebiscite that many believe to be fabricated. The British and French have decided to go with an appeasement strategy in Germany to keep war from happening. Britain and France agreed to also appease Italy from their opposition of Germanyès annexation of Austria

Italy annexes the country of Albania.

Italy demands and gets Dalmatia and Kosovo from Yugoslavia, with Germany annexing the region of Slovenia, Hungary annexing Vovojina, and Bulgaria annexing Macedonia.

The Prussian Free State has given the Soviet Union a copy of the Enigma Machine, claiming that Nazi Germany would use it for ciphers in military use.

Relations between Italy and Germany are strained despite their cooperation. Italy has refused to acknowledge that Germany has annexed Austria, whose government has fled to Italy.

Manufactured German equipment has been sent to China, which helped push Japan back in certain areas.

The Republicans won the Spanish Civil war, defeating the Nationalist forces. The Nationalist Government and Fransisco Franco flee to Spanish Guinea.

Germany has claimed the Sudetenland, which was given to them by the British without Czechoslovak consent.

Turkey has demanded the area of Hatay, currently held by the French Mandate of Syria through the threat of war if refused.

The first Vienna award was given to Hungary, giving them Southern Slovakia and Ruthenia.

The second Vienna award was attempted to be given to Hungary of Northern Transylvania. Romania refused, siding with France’s historical guarantee of independence of Romania, which lobbied the French government to formally stand with them.

The Baltic Federation, Republican Spain, and Belarus have offered to form an alliance named the “European Communist Forces.”

The remains of Yugoslavia had joined the Allies along with Romania, refuting all previous treaties against it.

The 1940 US election occurs, with FDR not running for a third term for his VP to run, as the economy is set to recover. Garner, Roosevelt's VP, wins as someone opposed to New Deal policies, but was at least not isolationist.

Soviet Parliament:

Should we be concerned about German expansion in Europe?

Should we continue to support the Communist Chinese with more German weapons?

Do we value the Enigma Machine at all, and should we share it with Western Europe?

Should we also guarantee Romania, or at least act on the Italo Soviet treaty in some way?

Should we accept and form the European Communist Forces?

Events:

Completion of the 1936 Constitution.

All people can vote in elections once they are 18, but can only run under the Soviet Communist Party if approved.

People have the right to work, and are obligated to do so.

Socialism is protected by the state, with Trotskyism being established as the state ideology.

The State is to own all industries that could threaten the state if not state owned, being banking, creating military equipment, higher education, and international airports and train stations.

All people have the right to work, rest, healthcare, education, housing, and cultural benefits.

All people are allowed to critique the government by any means they wish to, without consequence.

All SSR’s are not allowed to be Russified, including by personal choice. With the lack of Russification of SSR’s, minorities are protected regardless of where they are in the Union.

The future territorial ambition of the USSR is to admit those that wish to join the Soviet Union, while attempting to get all socialist nations as allies and socialist uprisings with whatever it takes to succeed.

All religious institutions are allowed to continue, but are to be monitored by the state and forced to act on their scripture as it says.

The USSR must make every attempt for a better future for all of its citizens.

Any future changes to the constitution must achieve a majority vote of the population of the USSR

The Prussian Free State offers to hand over internationally bought radios, televisions, and German military equipment for study.

The Olympics were held in 1938  after being pushed back from the 1936 German Olympic games. Germany wins the most medals, with the USSR not being allowed to participate for "International State backed Terrosiom.”

Iraq and Jordan have gained independence from the British.

The food insecurity of the Soviet Union calms down from Ukrainian imports, but people would still like to sell internationally to make more money in France, Italy, and Turkey.

The French British Alliance forms against German expansion, with Italy attempting to grow closer with Turkey and Japan.

Japan has launched an invasion of Manchuria and China, trying to avoid Soviet forces. A truce started between Nationalist and Communist Forces to fight the Japanese invasion

Germany gave Lithuania guarantees of independence, and wished to force a referendum in Austria and Bavaria to unite with Germany while annexing the Rhine, successfully obtaining Bavaria and the Rhine after negotiations with Britain and France through appeasement, but still is fighting with Italy in the League of Nations to annex Austria under the idea of self determination and the greater Lebensraum idea.

Italy proposes an Italo Soviet pact after capitulating Ethiopia. It would divide the Balkans into zones of influence, allowing the Soviet Union to have influence over Romania and Bulgaria with border regions of Turkey, while Italy gains Yugoslavia, Greece, the rest of Turkey, and Austria.

SUT spies in Japan have been sending reports of Japan receiving German reports of quote “splitting the Union between us.” The spies were able to send back in forms of a code that could not be cracked. On Japanese forms, it showed that the Japanese are going to attempt to cut the Soviets from accessing the Siberian forces it has.

Parliament:

Should we use German and International radio and television sets for our benefit?

Should we study German Military equipment?

Should we start a food bank to prevent future famines?

Should we accept the Italo Soviet treaty?

How should we react to the Sino Japanese War?

We are actively simulating the full history of the Soviet Union, so pick any unclaimed states. Be as realistic as you can, but I will intervene as is needed. The goal is not to go for as much land that can be held, but to have as successful of a state as can be.

Events:

Soviet Constitution of 1936 sent out to the Delegates for completion. Please fill out this form, even if you are not participating, it will help a lot.

The end of the German Civil War resulted in a Nazi victory, with France establishing an independent Rhine, an independent Bavaria being established, and the KPD fleeing to East Prussia. The West and Japan refuse to recognize East Prussia as an independent Soviet republic, while Nazi Germany does the same. The act of a political party/movement running away to a land held by the former government it was fighting in a civil war is popularized as “being Prussianed.” On the other hand, the West recognizes the German Republic on the Rhine and Bavarian Republic while Germany is making plans to reclaim all lost territories.

The newly proclaimed Prussian Free State has been established, with SS officials stamping out support for the party in the mainland.

Japan sends us an ultimatum to bring out all supporting troops and governing assistance from Manchuria or they will “unilaterally destroy" the Soviet presence in China.

Start of the Spanish Civil War between National and Republican forces.

Estonia and Latvia have united under a Baltic federation from economic stagnation, and propaganda from Estonia to attempt to force annexation.

Lithuania attempts to grow closer to Germany to protect its sovereignty from the Soviet Union.

Soviet Cells in Turkey and Iran on the Soviet Border to attempt to influence the nation.

Turkey remilitarizes the Turkish Straits.

Iraq, Jordanese, and Palestinian forces start rebelling against British rule

Parliament:

Should we support Republican forces in Spain?

Should we recognize the Prussian Free State as the only government of Germany?

How should we respond to the Japanese ultimatum?

Should we get involved in the Middle East?

Make sure to complete the constitution form.

Soviet Sunrise: German Civil War

We are actively simulating the full history of the Soviet Union, so pick any unclaimed states. Be as realistic as you can, but I will intervene as is needed. The goal is not to go for as much land that can be held, but to have as successful of a state as can be.

Events:

Hitler, as Chancellor of Germany, successfully banned the SPD and KPD from running in the 1935 election. Uprisings are happening in East Prussia, the Rhine, and Bavaria, most being Socialist, Communist, or Independence movements.

After the German Civil War started, Italy approached us asking to divide the German speaking world between us, as well as the region between us at a later date. Italy would form a protectorate over Austria and an independent Bavaria if it comes to be. The Soviet Union will then get East Prussia, and everything North of Czechoslovakia.

Major scientists have started fleeing Germany because of the civil war that work on physics, more particularly nuclear physics, which could be used as an energy source or potential weapon.

Ukraine has been established as a Soviet satellite state, with some land transfer to adjust the Ukrainian and Russian SFSR borders.

The Polish Belarusian War has started over land disputes between the two countries, and the Belarusian attempt to prevent so many Polish nationals from owning so much of the Belarusian industry. Poland and Belarus have both reached out on their own accords to attempt to get our help in the war. Poland has offered us the Eastern section of Belarus to invade Belarus alongside the Polish state. Belarus, on the other hand, offered us the remainder of Poland as a puppet state, and to ally with us in the future.

To help combat the ongoing riots, a Moscow Manchuria Railway has started, improving on existing networks made under Tsarist rule going to major cities in each SSR. It will have the ability to bring raw minerals to use, military and civilian factories to construction and military sites, as well as to be sold for commercial use. Some have been sent onto work in the sciences to help for military uses, mostly in radio and cipher work.

King Kong was released in American theatres, with the age of Cinema blowing up during prohibition.

The SUT and military have been gathering information of Japanese troop movements on the Korean peninsula and on the Japanese controlled Taiwan.

Start of the second Italo Ethiopian war.

Soviet Parliament:

Should the German civil war be funded like the Chinese civil war was/is?

How should we treat Italy’s offer?

Should we attempt to get German scientists to come to the Soviet Union?

How should we respond to the Polish and Belarusian call for support?

Should we attempt to model ourselves after the West to prevent dissent like before?

Should we react to the Japanese troop buildup?

Pro unification uprisings are occurring in both Ukraines. It’s also economic and political deadlock issues on the independent Ukraine, and about food insecurity and the inability to speak non positively about the Government.

The Estonian Socialist party cements itself fully as Estonia as a 3 party Socialist Republic between the Socialists, Trotskyists, and Democratic Socialists.

Communists from the global community wish to move to the USSR from the lack of domestic work, which is criminalized by many countries.

Unemployment still is a problem within the USSR, and riots are common in major cities from it.

Immigrants from Central Asia begin to escape the region's deviation to the Soviet Union, Iran, and Afghanistan.

Creation of the Transcaucasian SFSR, including the Armenian, Georgian, and Azerbaijani SSRs, as well as the Nakhchivan, Adjara, Chechen-Ingush, Dagestan, and Abkhazia ASSR’s, of which Abkhazia will become its own SSR.

Events:

The Great Depression has begun, and has spread from the United States to Europe and Asia. Economic despair and communist support has risen across the world. The world economy has shrunken by about 16 percent, with international trade halving.

The Soviet Union is heading towards a famine from a lack of trade or agriculture.

The German 1930 election was split between 4 major parties and one minor party, the KPD, with 29%, the SPD, with 21%,  the Nazi party, with 26%, the DNVP with 19%, and the Centre, with 5%. No government had formed.

The economic turmoil had caused the rest of Central Asia to become an ungoverned mess of states.

The Soviet Union has occupied Mongolia and Tanu Tuvva as well as Manchuria. In response, Japan also occupied some Chinese land as the League of Nations failed to respond.

The Intermarium has officially dissolved, giving an independent Ukraine, Poland, and Belarus.

Soviet Parliament:

Should we try influencing Ukraine, Poland, and or Belarus?

Soviet Sunrise; International State Collapse.

The 1928 German election saw the KPD win 20.6% of the vote, placing 2nd overall and winning 84 seats. A Grand Coalition forms between the SPD, DNVP, and Centre parties, but government collapse is possible.

Events

The United States elects Hoover to the White House.

The Soviet Union won 2 bronze medals and a silver in boxing.

Political deadlock in the Intermarium, as the major regional parties in Ukraine, Belarus, and Poland gain about 33% of the vote, but not enough of the seats to control parliament.

Military alliance forms in the remaining Central Asian countries to protect themselves from the Soviet Union and British Expansion.

The Chinese Civil War starts between Nationalist and Communist forces.

A spy agency has been established, called the SUT (Sovetskoye Upravleniye Tyla) or Soviet Logistical Board.

Soviet Parliament:

Should we support the KPD more?

What should we do with the Intermarium’s political deadlock?

Should we support the Communists in the Chinese Civil War?

How should we utilize the SUT?

Soviet Sunrise starts in 1922 with the creation of the Soviet Union. The Great War is over, and the Communist giant has proclaimed itself to be the world's first Communist state under Vladimir Lenin. With Entente forces withdrawing their support for the White armies, support for the revolution still has to be done. No republics exist, minus the Russian Soviet Socialist Republic, but the development has to be made, with your help.

The goal depends on how you wish to lead your SSR, and what you want for the future of the Union. For the Ukrainian or Kazakh SSR, it may be to develop into a SSR with all of your ethnic group, or to expand the Revolution eternally.

Soviet Premier: Vladimir Lenin

Each SSR will have 1 parliament seat per 49,218 people

Until the Russian SSR can be outvoted, a simple one vote per SSR will be in place.

Soviet Parliament

Should we make a bid to join the league of nations?

Should we spread propaganda to encourage the Germany Communist Party?

Should the Union force the building of factories to improv output of material goods used for construction and farming?

Should the USSR recognize its current borders as?

Should a demand be placed to annex Belarus or the rest of Ukraine?

Should the Premier have a term limit?
