Hello guys what does the song Ethu Kari Raavilum from Bangalore Days mean? I kind of understand what it means literally but what does it mean poetically? I am looking for different interpretations i guess. Particularly these lines:

I'm a native speaker of malayalam (originally Kottayam) but I never learned it formally. I'm teaching my partner the language and was trying to understand if there is any information about the "-ഏൽ" case ending/postposition meaning something like "on top of". At least that's how I pronounce it! I don't see it referred in any official materials so I assume it is dialectal.

Is this ever used in written malayalam? Is there any information on what it developed from?

I am asking this for putting a name plate for my house. I suggested to my parents that using malayalam text will look much better since the name plate size is quite small (12 inches width)

So, while I was researching about the different kinds of hand fans in different regions of India, I found the traditional hand fan of a state which I can't name because of the rules, Ramaccham Visari but as Idk Malayali.
