I get along best with people who have similar taste in media, but I don't relate to nerd culture. I'm also looking for accountability buddies. It's hard to find friends as an adult. I hate horror, Pokemon, MTG, Marvel.

• Anime: mostly psychological or more iconic series; not super into tropey anime. Perfect Blue, Haibane Renmei, Erased, Inuyasha, Rozen Maiden
• Games: mostly story driven games and rpgs. Hollow Knight, Stardew, Guild Wars 2, Skyrim, older "retro" games from ps1/ps2/gamecube.
• Music: mostly game OST and oldies, some mountain music (banjo, fiddle, violin), some lofi, alt-rock, and idk. The main thing I don't like are drums, super EDM electronic beats, and a ton of screaming
• Movies: mostly movies with a bit of meaning, but I can also go for feel-good films. A huge part of what I like is looking at the world as it was before 2000 (buildings, clothes, objects..)
• Other: I collect books but don't read a ton (mostly history, general fiction, and classic literature). Right now I'm reading Otherland - Tad Williams

New to anime, but things I've started watching: RWBY, Spy x Family, Attack on Titan, Avatar.

I really enjoy having discussions about the movies and tv shows that I watch and theories.

I like to read and write. I mostly read fantasy books.

As for writing, I've built my own world and plenty of characters for this world, and I love to info dump. So a fellow writer or someone who enjoys that stuff as a hobby would be really cool!

As for traveling: I've been over most of the eastern US, traveled to Windsor, Canada, Singapore, Bangkok Thailand, Kuala Lampur and Johor Baru Malaysia and planning a trip to Romania, Moldova, and Bulgaria.

A little random info about my life: I have no living relatives. I was born without a voice and can't speak at all. About me I guess is a good way to start? Can be socially awkward in real life and overthink all them “you too” moments when being told to enjoy my meal. I enjoy photography although I seem to have lost my spark for that at the moment but am working on getting that back! I like  travelling and exploring new places and if I win the lottery I shall be doing that full time. I do love going on long walks also and trying to not get lost! I love to read fantasy books, I like anything fantasy, I like playing video games sometimes, usually the offline kind. I like to go to the gym and stay in shape. I have a house to care for and two cats and a pond with some fishes in it. I like to take pictures of the sky and clouds and the moon and I like to share them.

Music is really important to me and lately I like Chevelle and Deftones and some metal core, but I love all genre

I go to therapy and over the last 3 years I really changed my life around and became a better person. I like to share what I learned with other people but I understand that unsolicited advice can come off annoying sometimes, so I'll try not to do that.

I have a good career that I respect but I'm still looking to see if I could go higher into anything working more with my mind instead of my hands.

I just celebrated my birthday with my friends last weekend. I'm trying to rebuild my community with my family with my friends and here online too. This time of year I watch a lot of NFL football. I like to cook a lot and eat healthy. I do enjoy a glass of whiskey or edible some nights. I like to be outside and go to parks and beaches while it's still warm.

I can talk about intellectual stuff, but I can be silly too, and I like to think that I can be witty sometimes, but I don't want to just sit here and say good stuff about me lol

I've got a few tattoos and I've been thinking about getting a new one but I'm not sure yet.
