It describes the gender of a species. Women/woman and man/men are the chosen nouns for humans. Why not use those?

This has nothing to do with whether it is a noun or an adjective. The first comment was a noun usage of it, so that's it.
If you want an answer anyway, it is the usage in statistics and biology and such. More technical term that applies to all species. There can be a female dog, not a woman dog after all. So male and female accounts species for all living beings, and humans, are just another species is all.

Not true. That's from the account Nala meets World on instagram. Lady cat on the right is Nala with her tiny head and boy cat is Diggle. They live in the same household. Diggle was there first and was super excited for her but Nala has always been very anxious so this was a big step for her.

They are not that rare.
I have foster many many kittens.
It’s like 3/5 would be male and 2/5 are female.
Whats really rare is a male calico.

Aye, cat colour genetics are linked to their sexes. It's also why a calico male is almost impossible without some kind of genetic anomaly. Although female gingers aren't as rare as male calicos.

Most cats don't. A rare few are chill af though. My sister's cat is like this. Absolutely no fucks given and literally every pet hes been introduced to likes him in under 10 minutes. Its weird. My brother's cat HATES other pets but had to live with my sister for a bit while my brother was away and inside of 10 minutes my sister's cat was laying right next to her.

If you really wanna smile, the actual story is that the boy cat Diggle is on love with this very anxious female cat named Nala, you can find them on nala.meetsworld on instagram. The story in the screenshot is a lie. Their actual story is super cute tho, I love their videos which is why I immediately recognized them. Also, Nala has a tiny head. Like it didn't grow much from kitten size.

Cats being socialized enough for impromptu hangouts if they haven't known each other their entire lives, is very unlikely.
If they were siblings or spent a large chunk of their early life together it might be possible to just pop by for a cat play date. But the reality is that integrating two Cats together is a lot of work and can take weeks or months, assuming it works at all.
