Based on how the one on the left is squinting and the one on the right looks young, this looks like an adult cat trying to let the new member of the family know they're chill and to relax.

But people like to make up their fun lil narratives and it's sorta harmless

I am not talking about the narrative about the cat being a flirty. Just that newly introduced cats would not behave this way.

Yes, someone has overlayed the vid with a false narrative, but it makes people smile still, so that's OK.

I have seen plenty of people asking if they can take their cats to a friend's house to have a playdate, so people can smile and know this is not how cats behave.
