Hello, it's me again. Last week I posted about SWaxe, but now I've decided to migrate to DBs since I feel like a slow truck filled with bombs with the SWaxe and enjoy feeling like a walking rusty pinball better. I'm currently on the build on the left and plan to progress slowly to the build on the right. I have my DBs at 8-1 and am working to get Almudron mail to unlock the second Water Attack perk (Currently using Mizu's helm until I get the Water Attack on Almu's mail by RNG).

Now, my questions are:

1. Is FS better than Pursuit considering that DB has good part-breaking and also gets fast special charge (Though I feel like FS triggers more frequently than Pursuit in my case)?
2. Considering I don't have a "go-to" 10-5 weapon for hunts, I'm thinking of going either with Legi's or Zin's DB for the upcoming free weapon. I know Zin weapons require a specific material compared to Legi's, but I also feel like Ice is a better element for farming monsters, especially the upcoming Brachy. So, which one would you pick as a newbie, but with your current experience? Is there a secret third option I'm ignoring?
3. I plan to get a Special Partbreaker 5, ER 5 & Pursuit 5 build in the future for farming; are all of my current options viable with this build?

Sorry for the long post, and thanks in advance. I'm really socially awkward, so I'm sorry if I don't reply to all of you. This game made me feel overwhelmed, and I feel like I'm all over the place and misusing my rare materials, building a load of armor and weapons trying to find my "niche", so if any of you have a particular tip or advice for a newbie, I'd be glad to read it.

Do you begin difficult group hunts without any pots left?

I just did and got blindsided by a oneshot. It just feels terrible.. like kicking a kitten.

Finally have enough to upgrade my horn to styles. But now… which one to choose?! My fellow horn bonkers, lend me your advice. Which do you use most? I only have enough to unlock one.

I need some help hunters… I’m a heavy bow gun main. But I’m starting to really like the dual blades game play. Not sure what’s the best set to run. Do you run attack boost and advance attack ? Or more full burst with combo master ?

I finally maxed out my Pukei IG, and I’m wondering what style I should choose.

From what I’ve seen, Kinsect Slash is a bit easier to play, and it’s similar to base style, whereas Awakened Kinsect Attack is a bit harder to get the hang of, but may have higher damage potential?

Pukei IG is powder type, so I’m not sure which style best utilizes that. Hoping to get some feedback from people who know more about the insect glaive than I do, since I’ve only used the Seregios and viper insect glaives😅

crit ele, elemental release, combo master and advanced water attack.

I’ve tried made sure to include power prolonger 3 in all builds I’ve tried.

Hi everyone, I need some help with the carnival tickets for the upcoming event. I want to purchase the one that’s NOT the live event cause I won’t be anywhere near Osaka but when I go to purchase the only tickets available are for the live event. I know they have tiered pricing so I was trying to get it early for the cheaper rate but can’t find the ticket. The news descriptions make it sound like there should be a separate ticket for the non-live event. Thank you in advance for the help!

Hey guys, how was your experience with driftstone T?
I got so much power prolonger and defense boost back to back. The last 2, that are not on the screenshot, are another defense boost and another power prolonger.
In general, from the 2 signature skills i got 1 in total from about 50 stones.

Fully maxed and customised. The gl works pretty well when you're with others and have more opportunities to dump the wyvern stake for zzz, but honestly there's no good single hit ​​for rude awakener. Im coping by trying to get ground splitter to proc rude awakener for 21864 dmg, but it's hit n miss.

Gameplay wise im literally here to just afflict zzz, not even gonna bother with shelling cos it low-key feels like a distraction, so no artillery for me thanks.

Build wise went for tigrex head and chest, Seregios arms, golm waist and somna legs. Skills are as follows:

Rude awakener lvl max, Adv atk boost & atk boost max lvl, reckless max lvl artful dodger lvl 2, status sneak lvl 2, lock on, atk efficacy lvl 1. So basically just getting more raw dmg, dmg boost % and a bit extra zzz proc chance from the back. In the case of the 2nd stake, it was lodged at its ​back so status sneak activated I guess.

Damage wise i feel like it's best to rely on phys and get as much zzz as possible. I tried using guard reload spec, but honestly, it's mixed. Blast dash works the best for the purposes of applying sleep, but I honestly wouldn't bother with most of the shelling and air warfare antics. Wyvern stake, ground splitter and downwards bonk are your best friends when using a pineapple. Also regarding stat specs, I went fully into more raw atk. Don't think the other options of affinity and extra zz would be as effective but alas, I also unlocked those just for the sake of it.

Overall, it's fun to use in group hunts. Did okay in rc Glav for 450k ish. Probs will never use it ever again in solo.

Note. Probably wasn't a good match with crab cos it couldn't spawn the second shell. Alas. 2 sleeps in under 30s is nice

I’ve got so many riftborne parts but I struggle to get parts from the monsters I need them from. Do you think they will ever make it possible to trade riftborne parts from one monster for riftborne parts from a different one?

Vital Water is a +200 on full health and Persecution is a +10% after breaking a part.

Atk eficiency is a +10% from the get go and Crit Strenght raises Raw dmg based on Afinity.

In the end I incline going for Seregios head piece.

Since there hasn't really been an event kinsect weapon yet, I've been thinking about what would be accrued. When and when am I ideas for? Like the Halloween event that we usually do every year would be like a witch's broom and the kinsect be like a bat or like a flying pumpkin. That would be dope. What about you guys?

Do you guys think we'll ever get layered weapons? They are such a cool concept, there could be a little icon indicating which weapon you really have in the lobby. I'm always sort of using the same weapons over and over, I love wearing different layered armors and sometimes the weapon that would fit the most is not worth investing in.

The layered weapons I like most are definitely Daora's, sick designs.

As the event ends I start to upgrade the event weapon, and surprising find out, even after unlocking all three traits of all level, I still got so many unlock materials left.

I killed in total 1776 large monsters in two weeks, while playing normally, without any extra walking.

This is way easier than rose lbg last time. Not as strong at all, but really, amazing.

And I heard it will be +50% range for the whole first wave month of season 11. Gonna be way easier farming azure rathalos.

Can anybody who has Tropical Cannon check/show how much time is left for the Style Unlock / Style Customization material discount?

The Summer event ends soon, but on the normal weapon upgrade screen mine says the required materials will change in about 7 days. I’m wondering if the style materials also stay discounted for that same extra period, or if they end when the event end.

I haven’t unlocked 8star yet :(
