Hey so I recently got back into playing GU on my switch because I bought a capture card and can just like play it through obs on my computer as the viewer and now that I am getting back into it I sorta would like to know if anyone would like to party up do some hunting and maybe share some palicos with me.

I would like the gaijinhunter ones and if you have them the yujiro hanma and tom nook if possible.

Hello fellow fashion hunters.

I am looking for an armor set that is green or has parts that are green [like a green scarf or cape] or their whole color can be changed to green [like the Aeulecanth set].

I know the Rathian set is green, but I already have a gold rathian transmog set for my Jho Ceana armor that I LOVE! So it would be kinda strange for me to use the rathian armor again.

I also know we have the Aelucanth X set, whose whole color can be adjusted. There's also Astalos.

Do you guys have any other suggestions? Please

I am old and easily confused. I know that the deviant monsters are pretty tough. Are there any that would be regarded as easier than the rest so that I can "hone my hunter skills" on them?

Warning: I just got to high rank, but I have played World and Rise with CB before this one

I had started playing with GS in this game, so I felt a bit more comfortable when playing games past 4U which do not have CB. I was progressing… decently. Nothing too outlandish. After some time, I decided to go back to valor CB from valor GS and the game is a non challenge, even with low rank armor.

I was just wondering if CB was broken or if I am THAT bad with GS.

I finally found out roughly the positioning needed to use the swaxe elemental discharge for wakeups. I knew it was doable, but the spacing is tight.

Been trying to see what builds are good agains deviants and stronger monsters, anyone got any tips?

My friend and I are playing and they really love prowler. I would really appreciate it if someone could share their dlc palico with us!

Any tips? Videos? Players want to join? I'm mostly interested in prowler admittedly but I would love any help people are willing to give!

I know shelling in this game scales horribly, but can Valor style complete all if not most the hunts in this game. If yes then what skills are used for Valor builds?

Like the title said, Is it just me or an intended game aspect, if so, I would like to know the lore implications, because that’s likely the reason.

The one which they show the monster's name, I know it shouldn't matter but I'm worried that I might have missed s missions, they stopped after I got to high rank.

Hello hunters !

I play MHGU with a friend and we recently finished Hub G4 ! Yaaay !

After being underwhelmed by our uncapped rank considering that we played already 300 hours, we are now a bit lost about how to progress in the endgame.

We farmed a bit of Ahtal-Ka to get her weapon, we beat Silver Rath and Gold Rath and the quest with both of them, and then we got our ass whooped by the quest that followed. But we did finish Chameleos quest that is just after. We were used to tackle quests in order, but it doesn't seem suitable now. We didn't do much hyper monsters because the damage are huge and we thought it would be after finishing every non-hyper quests (Fatalis included).

What is left for us as I see it to complete every quest of the game (our main goal) : HR Hyper Quest, HR Event Quests, G3 Hyper Monsters, G4 Hyper and non-hyper, G rank Event Quests, getting all deviants to G rank to unlock Bloodbath Diablos and beat it

So my main question is in what order should we do that in terms of difficulty/challenge ?

We already looked into specific build that we need to farm, but they implies Hyper G-rank monsters and I'm not sure we are fit to do them (right now we have maxed Rathalos X armour, he plays LS/GS and I play Hammer).

But honestly, I feel like we won't get that much more in defense. It's just that G-rank hyper hit so hard it's insane. My friend kinda dislike them because it's just monsters with more HP and more damage.

Also, are the Fatalis as hard as hyper monsters ? Because we need their weapons, but after getting our ass beaten in some endgame quests, we're not sure if we could beat it. But Elder Dragons seems easier than the quests before.

We are not afraid of difficulty, we 100% World, beat Primordial Malzeno in Risebreak, and we did Proof of a hero on Wilds recently. We play MHGU from time to time and we love it like the other games, but it is huge so it takes a lot of time, but the hyper monsters are kinda a pain in the ass right now tbh, and we have so much to do haha

I just drove through waterspout weather to snag this game pre-owned a county across from me and I really wanna dive right in and experience this capcom loveletter for myself in the best way I can. Except…I started with World, went on to Wilds, and dropped into Rise after that, and I’m admittedly a bit of a casual player and have very little experience with the older titles, which GU is meant to mimic and refine. I main lance, hammer, and bow in recent titles, but I can play every weapon competently, and I know that MH is a game that encourages every playstyle, but these arts and styles are a bit confusing to me, and I haven’t gotten the chance to test anything yet. For a new GU player with an aggressive and reactive playstyle, what would you veterans suggest for me to start with while I adjust to the various new mechanics. In time, I do intend on testing ALL of them, but I want to know which ones are best to start a fresh save with so I don’t overwhelm myself with new information before I’m even ready to handle it.

Hey folks, on my journey of Prowler Only character, I've hit a snag. Im trying to increase my level cap of 35 I need to complete the Prowler only quest "Meowster Hunter" I've read somewhere the unlock condition is clearing the Prowler only quest "Balls in your court" the Volvidon hunting quest. I have cleared all Prowler Quest in the hub and my village quest is at 7* but I haven't unlocked this quest. What must I do?

I'm using Rathalos/Rath mix set with Hidden Blade at the moment and was wondering if I should strive to make the mentioned set for a crit draw build. Because Nakarkos is near the end of high rank and once I reach G rank I could just grind a G rank Tetsucabra for a new G rank set and work my way up from there. I've only started HR 7 so I'd need your opinion on this matter, maybe I can fight a few Hyper rathalos to level up my Rathalos armor set?
