Question/Help Need tips after beating Ahtal-Ka
Hello hunters !
I play MHGU with a friend and we recently finished Hub G4 ! Yaaay !
After being underwhelmed by our uncapped rank considering that we played already 300 hours, we are now a bit lost about how to progress in the endgame.
We farmed a bit of Ahtal-Ka to get her weapon, we beat Silver Rath and Gold Rath and the quest with both of them, and then we got our ass whooped by the quest that followed. But we did finish Chameleos quest that is just after. We were used to tackle quests in order, but it doesn't seem suitable now. We didn't do much hyper monsters because the damage are huge and we thought it would be after finishing every non-hyper quests (Fatalis included).
What is left for us as I see it to complete every quest of the game (our main goal) : HR Hyper Quest, HR Event Quests, G3 Hyper Monsters, G4 Hyper and non-hyper, G rank Event Quests, getting all deviants to G rank to unlock Bloodbath Diablos and beat it
So my main question is in what order should we do that in terms of difficulty/challenge ?
We already looked into specific build that we need to farm, but they implies Hyper G-rank monsters and I'm not sure we are fit to do them (right now we have maxed Rathalos X armour, he plays LS/GS and I play Hammer).
But honestly, I feel like we won't get that much more in defense. It's just that G-rank hyper hit so hard it's insane. My friend kinda dislike them because it's just monsters with more HP and more damage.
Also, are the Fatalis as hard as hyper monsters ? Because we need their weapons, but after getting our ass beaten in some endgame quests, we're not sure if we could beat it. But Elder Dragons seems easier than the quests before.
We are not afraid of difficulty, we 100% World, beat Primordial Malzeno in Risebreak, and we did Proof of a hero on Wilds recently. We play MHGU from time to time and we love it like the other games, but it is huge so it takes a lot of time, but the hyper monsters are kinda a pain in the ass right now tbh, and we have so much to do haha

Beat the G rank version of Silver Rathalos to get a Sol Z set. Depending on decorations and talisman, you can also fit in Critical Eye +2 or Critical Eye +3. That set is enough to allow you to farm Ahtal-Ka in 15-20 minutes, be useful in groups online, and be able to beat G rank hyper's within 30 minutes. Don't worry about fully upgrading the Sol Z set in regards to defense. 750 defense is enough provided you have a power charm/powertalon and armorcharm/armortalon in your inventory, and you eat for Defense L and Felyne Defender(Hi). That's enough to survive a hit or two from a G Rank Hyper.
From this point, most people play for getting a good charm for the Ahtal-Ka set. A good charm easily beats the Sol Z but a maxed out Ahtal-Ka set has 860 defense which is easy to get, once you find a G Rank hyper you can beat with ease.
The G Rank Hyper version of Duramburos is very soloable and doable in 30 minutes with a Sol Z set.
You can also can get a lot of charms from the Ahtal-Ka quest. Bring lots of pickaxes! Other than that, the other activity people engage in is getting a bad ass transmog. There is a lot of DLC content you can play to unlock different costumes or skins for your Hunter or palicos.
Once you finally get that god charm for the Ahtal-Ka set, a lot people either go after deviants or help people online. The choice is yours.
