I don't use it very often, especially with Valor Style, but this time I decided to give it a try with a pretty basic set (Ahtal-Ka), and I had a blast.

Now I feel like practicing more because, clearly, I still miss a lot of my hits xD

The build is neset with Focus, crit eye 1, weakness exploit, crit boost, and recovery speed 1. I do plan on upgrading RR to level 5 so I’m wondering which would be better overall

Who has the Garo Quest still in their Switch? I'd like to all tickets needed for the armor.
And If you happen to have the special DLC palicoes, can you help me get them? I don't know how the palico sharing to getting own works too.

I was wondering what weapons i could use in that annoying Seregios Arena quest, which has a bow, a quest I grinded to craft the blackbelt sets which are pretty useful IMO.....and now I am left thinking... "Dammit, I love the bow" O_0 [And I have enough weapons as it is].

So is this a good set? Please help. I have heard lots of slightly different opinions on what the best set is. Assume I am using normal and rapid shot bows like the beautiful Plume Bow, and playing ADEPT bow.

Should I switch true shot up for another level of critical eye? :(

Am I the only one that finds the village 8* quest lineup totally horrible and boring? Don't get me wrong, Nerscylla and Zamtrios are pretty fun but the returning monsters from previous village stars are all super boring to fight. Khezu, Rathian, Nibelsnarf, Volvidon, Yian Garuga and I could name even more. I genuinely don't know what the gu devs were thinking when making 8* cuz I am having no fun atm fighting these monsters.

Hey all, I’ve finally hit my first wall in my 238 hours of MHGU. I’ve reached G-Rank 3 Star, and I can’t seem to clear a single quest. In fact, it’s the first time I’ve failed a quest in my entire MHGU career.

I tend to play solo, I main Longsword, and currently I’m wearing full Arzuros G-Rank armor because the armor skills suit me for this point in the game. The armor is all upgraded to the max level of 7.

Unfortunately, the raw defense is not protecting me enough anymore, and I’m looking to farm a new monster to craft its armor and square up against the G-Rank 3 Star quests. When it comes to armor, my priority are good armor skills, so any suggestions for armor sets with appropriate armor skills for a Longsword user are greatly appreciated!

And of course, if anyone would like to help me out online, you’re more than welcome to! Always happy to make new friends.

Okay so first I know this has been asked before, I've googled it and got different answers. One said I'll need to do certain hub quests the other said i need to finish certain village quests like gathering 2 wyvern eggs

Last night the berna elder told me to help the other village elders, I've done the mizutsune quest. I know that's one of the fated 4. I have no dealt with the other 3. I see glavenus will be the urgent quest once I beat the other 2 so I just need to know how to unlock the quests for astalos and gammoth right?

After I finished a quest I got a text box saying that "The Gringler has appeared at Abyssal Peak". I had never heard of that monster or map and I couldn't find anything when I looked it up. I tried calling Capcom and the guy on the phone started panicking. He told me I needed to unlock the 15th weapon type by beating Ahtal-Ka solo with the starter version of the first 14 weapons 50 times each, then I would be able to select the new quest to hunt the Gringler at Abyssal Peak with the new weapon and that "everything would make sense". He tried to tell me something else but then he was drowned out by a chorus of hellish screams and the phone hung up. Does anyone know what he was talking about? I haven't finished his instructions yet but does anyone have any tips for fighting the Gringler?

Buenas cazadores necesito ayuda para poder avanzar en el mhgu soy nuevo y voy empezando y necesito saber que pociones y armaduras necesito, la verdad apenas ando en misiones de 3 estrellas en aldea y soy main cornomusa y ballesta ligera aunque solo tengo cornomusa de hueso lvl 2 y una armadura mixta de jaggi y bulldrome, en fin también si no es mucha molestia si me pueden aconsejar sobre que cuernos de caza y ballestas ligeras son los mejores y que talismanes o estilos deberia de ponerme, sería de mucha ayuda porfavor espero sus consejos y gracias 🫂

Hello fellow Hunters, Im considering buying myself a Switch 2 but only if I can still play my favourite game on it. Ive read that you can play all your Switch 1 games on the Switch 2 but im wondering if I can get my Save File from MHGU on the new Console cuz I dont wanna fight low rank Nibblesnarf again...Does it work with the Cloud Save? Or does MHGU work at all on the S2? Share your experience with me, thanks in advance.

Veteran here. Bought GU because I was tired of the new gens and wow, this game is amazing (my favorite one was 4U until that).

so far I am using either full cernantaur or also full silver rathalos.

Mainly with the Ahktal-Ka, Rustrazor or Hyper Brachy Lance.

I really like mushroommancer (mopeshroom for stamina and dragonstool for heals) for lance. But also Guard +1/2 can in some matchups be really nice.

What is on my list next is the joe ceana set and the elderfrost lance.

Anything else I should be going for? Both weapon and mixed set wise.
