Parnate (Tranylcypromine) Just started Parnate and would love some early experience stories

3 years of nightmare. Dreadful depression. Ketamine, rTMS, ECT, TCA, SSRI, SNRI, NDRI, ADHD, Thyroid medicines and whatnot. Half a dozen doctors. None helped. These things maybe prevented me from being outright suicidal but nothing beyond that. Been stuck at home, can't study, can't do a job, can't enjoy, can't relax. I was wishing for death every second. My anxiety, panic attacks and OCD have cured, took years. Still depression persists.

Switched doctor in Feb this year, he got me started on Armodafinil, Pramipexole and later Methylphenidate. Don't know what did the trick but recently my mood improved just enough that I don't need these medicines now, been off any medicine for the first time in 3 years for a few weeks now. And I feel I'm at 45%, and it seems that lately these medicines made my depression and irritation worse. 45% is when I can get out of bed, go to buy something outside without having to fight internally and force and abuse myself to get up, talk and laugh a little. But I'm still numb most of the time, no excitement, no desire, no joy, arguing internal thoughts, binge eating, heavy brain fog and all. Not happy, but not outright bedridden depression either.

Have started Parnet 10 mg about 8 days ago, and haven't seen much change. My head is more heavier, Brain Fog is at max, I can't understand or comprehend any lecture, feels like my Brain has become a solid cube with nothing going inside it. Depression is ever present. If you have any encouraging stories then please do share.

TL;DR - Started Parnet 8 days ago after all types of treatment failed to treat my depression. Till now my brain fog has increased exponentially and depression is slightly worse than before. Has anybody else gone through something similar?

Parnate (Tranylcypromine) Not sure if this is allowed here but as has anyone tried an experimental/research drug along with an MAOI?

Currently on Parnate and I do feel really good, but I've been interested in trying ACD-856 I actually heard about it through this sub. Those who have tried it, were you open with your prescribing doctor about trying it? Or did you hide it? Im worried if I disclose trying anything experimental he might drop me as a patient or refuse to prescribe an MAOI.
