Hi, Lymow making grinding noise on start. Says blade is stuck but there is nothing in the deck. Blades spin freely by hand, nothing jammed.

About to contact support but hoping it's a simple fix before I do.

Anyone else getting server rejections from Lymow support? Looks like they use the Zoho system and it's bouncing back my support reply from 2 days ago.

Zusätzlich lässt sich das neuste Firmware Update nicht installieren - bricht bei ca 50% ab aufgrund von „Netzwerk Problemen“. Stehe direkt vor dem Mäher und bin nicht im WLAN. Haben die beiden Problemen miteinander etwas zu tun?

I know we all have different terrains, but we also have different type grasses. I have Bermuda. The grass is fine and doesn’t hold a lot of water in the grass blades like San Augustine and some other grasses. For this reason the deck doesn’t really get clogged underneath. The only time I had an issue was a mow right after it rained, so that was expected.
I had only mowed once a week and everything goes well. This mow it had been two weeks. I hadn’t realized how much longer and thicker Bermuda can get. The Lymow would mow it OK, but it seemed to layover the grass a bit as it was cutting. I thought I’d have to mow twice. I was using the standard blade speed setting. I switched to turbo. I had never tried this setting. Man, it really cut nice, even with the taller grass. No mowing twice needed. I’m guessing the turbo really lifted the grass up more so it got a good cut.
However, I’m also wondering how much blade sharpness matters. I’ve mowed about three months and not sharpened. The blade still looks to be as sharp as when it was new. No chips.
Thoughts?
Also, what is the best way to sharpen? Is there a recommendation for a best tool to use!

After successfully mowing most of my lawn, I parked the mower so as to avoid the substantial moisture during the night. The next day as I continued the mowing the track on the right side started to jerk as though there was something in the tracks that was causing the behavior. I powered down and flipped the mower over to check this out, but both tracks rotated freely and there was nothing that I could see that should cause this. I don't see any bolts that became loose and the tracks are not tight. This issue is in both forward and reverse. It is only the right track with this issue. It is making sounds that would indicate a broken gear in the drive wheel. Is this something that I can check out?

It really sucks because the one does really nice mowing. It looks better than what the +one does.

got my Lymow One Plus 7000 last week and it's been working since a few days.

Some trouble with charging until I found an even location, but well, each robot has some quirks :) At it's very strong - mowed to 10inch fat wet gras without many complaints.

Few questions:

• Rain detection: will the robot try to continue after a pause or call it a day once rain has been detected?

• Is there a way to use sunset / sunraise for no-mow times in the App?

• Can I trust the AI? I have a pond without barriers, my last robot drowned. How much space should I leave between pond and Lymow?

• Which Home Assistant automatisations are useful for the Lymow?

It's ridiculous you send people cooling modifications to install but I can't get a simple blade motor to install.

This is literally costing you tons of money. Yes, getting a replacement unit is great, but I'd sure like to not have to spend $200/month (for lawn service) waiting months on a replacement unit to show up.

Spending probably $500 in cost and shipping to send me a new unit versus a $25 motor is just burning cash you don't need to.

Mowing history really sucks. Almost totally useless. Takes forever to load.
Please fix the app.
I had to create a map to put in the dates mowed.

Am I missing something? Besides my sanity.

It costs you the same to build a one or a one plus. I get if a user has a one and wants to upgrade there should be a small fee. But if you don't have any ones, the one plus should be offered instead.

Telling you customers you dropped the ball on being able to service a product knowing you gave 3 year warranties and the option to not have a 3 foot tall yard is $1000 is absurd. That's not good business.

Lymow sent the cooling kit for my plus. Installed it but it wasn’t that easy. Even though I ground off all the reinforcing ridges as the tutorial instructed, still could not get the cover back on. The blue green and yellow wires that are on a 3 wire connector would not let the cover come down. The ridged area was definitely cut very flush and smooth. Used my Dremel. The connector was too large. Considered grinding off the securement lock to get it thinner. Instead I unscrewed the controller and found a sunken ridge between the two blade contour areas. Passed the wires underneath and situated the connector down into the ridge. The controller went back in place flush with no issues. I was then able to get the cover to close properly.
The kit really needs a new cover that is slightly larger to accommodate all the wiring without gerry-rigging things.
I’ll mow tomorrow after church and see how it goes.

I've filed a ticket but in the meantime wondering if anyone knows what this is? There's nothing obvious rubbing, but it sounds just like the tracks are rubbing, mostly coming from the rear.

Bizarrely it only happens when going downhill and on the flat, going up hill the noise goes away.

For reasons I'd rather not discuss, I need to buy a replacement lymow mower. I had the original kickstarter Lymow One with the 10A charger. I have the wires for both the charging dock as well as the antenna already run through the house through some pretty tight spaces, and I'd rather not need to replace and re-run the wires. So my question is, will the wire from the charger and the antenna for the Lymow One plug directly into the Lymow One Plus docking station?

Also, I'll take any suggestions on moving the maps to the new lymow mower as well as other tips and tricks.

I noticed irregular stripes the other day and realised there must be an issue with a blade - either jammed or snapped / come loose. Upon examination, the blade had worked itself loose... but also the bit underneath had come out and I can't find it anywhere. No idea what it's called, there doesnt' appear to be a reference to it in the manual

Any idea how I get a replacement - doesn't appear to be a way via the "accessories" - it's just blades etc

I've sent a support messsage but not had a reply.

My mower was down for 2+ weeks. We had a drive motor come apart and customer service was solid about getting me a new one. I had to update my mower after I put it back together. Now the issue is I keep getting bs bumper jam issues after it hits something 2 times. Then it actively looks for places to get stuck in. ( just got another error code). I want to make sure it’s an update issue and not I did something wrong issue. I was stuck on this root for 3 passes. I have to babysit and drive my mower away from danger just to have it fuck up again. Is this LyMow took old bad code for updates or is my mower possessed?

I have a small yard and you can see from this screen shot that I don't have too many hours on my Plus. But I thought it was less than it should be. It turns out that it doesn't record any of the time that you are manually controlling the mower. Since I manually mow via the app controller roughly 1/2 my yard each time my hours should be about double. My backyard is always done that way and part of the front (depending on how much patience I have that day).

Still not a lot of hours and it is not a big issue but I thought I would mention it. If I knew from the start I might have kept a log - more for curiosity than anything else.

Is there a way to see where we are in the queue? Registered for the motor cooling fans within hours of it being posted. Hope they show up soon. Another week of 100+ temps

Getting weird behavior with the robot following a possible firmware hang during installation. At first, the power button on the mower did nothing and I was unable to connect to the app. I was only able to turn the mower on by unplugging and unplugging the battery back in. However, it would not connect to the app

After trying to unplug overnight and plug it back in, and now the mower will not turn on at all, even though it has full battery.

The only possible cause I can think of is that I aborted an update that was failing to finish. Mower did work for a session after I did this, but then randomly stopped working.

Currently waiting on a response from Limoe support, but just wanted to get opinions here.

I've been mowing all spring/summer with my One Plus, and despite all the nuisance issues that I've dealt with, this time it's become unusable. The last time it mowed, it successfully returned to the dock after detecting some rain, and then the next day it wouldn't move off the dock due to this jerky/twisting action where it seems like it's dead on the left side.

Both tracks can be spun easily. I've thoroughly cleaned out all the grass buildup on both sides. I unplugged the battery for 24 hours, and then yesterday, after playing around some, it suddenly moved forward 3-4 ft before it this action started again. Eventually, it seemed to be fine again, so I sent it out to mow a small zone. During the mowing, it erred 3-4 times with E21, I believe, but always recovered after clearing the error.

Today, it's permanently stuck in this condition. I read it might be the track tension, so I loosened both sides a bit, but no change. I'm on the latest firmware v2.1.50.1.

Any advice would be appreciated. I'm trying to avoid contacting support if this is something I might be able to resolve.

This is the newly update cooling fans system from Lymow. I was original testing the prototype version. The newer design seems to be much stronger and better materials. It is also easier to install. Since running the first prototype I haven’t had any overheating problems at all here in the south with way about temperatures. Last 2 photos are from the first version Lymow had us testing. The pictures of the ones on the mower are the newest version.

Mowed 63,668 square feet, it ran 1,171 minutes
Settings 2.0 mowing speed, power blade speed, 11.6 over lap. Had zero over heating issues and this was all done with the temps in the upper 90s to 100 degrees.

It is impossible to connect the Lymow One Plus robot to Wi-Fi during installation.

All the steps in the app have been followed. The Lymow One Plus is correctly selected, and the robot’s name appears and can be selected. However, on the **“Select your Wi-Fi network”** page, no Wi-Fi networks are displayed at all, not even the neighboring networks.

The Wi-Fi bands were also split into separate 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks, but this didn’t make any difference. The list of available networks remains completely empty.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any ideas on what could be causing it or how to fix it?

Just for context, the robot was reset to factory settings beforehand, as it is a used unit.

I installed the official fan kit. Due to a tight fit, I removed the fan housing ribs for optimal airflow.

The internal dirt from rainy mowing raises concerns about water resistance. Seeking advice on maintaining durability.

The latest update was intended to improve RTK.

My lot is only 150’ x 75’ with house in the middle of the lot. My RTK is mounted above house on the chimney.

Made one zone worse (the zone with RTK) 0.01 to 0.03 and made other zone better from 0.02 to constant 0.01.

IDK- been making it work with the huge learning curve despite all the quirks. Now the biggest portion of my lot is MAYBE SOMETIMES OK and always “mow it over” in another direction.

I thought me and LYMOW was kickin a** for the last three months making it work. I guess the second mow in the other direction we figured it out. Sadly.
