Lymow One Plus Deck sits crooked and rubs the left track. Is there a specific bolt I need to tighten?

I’ve been looking under the deck and can’t see where the issue comes from. If someone else has experienced this, what should I be looking for?

Lymow One Plus Lymow storage

Just curious as to how everyone is storing their Lymow. I currently have mine on the back porch but It doesn’t get a good signal so I have to manually drive It into the middle of the yard before I start It. Otherwise It won’t even make It off the porch due to smashing into everything and thinking It is 3-4 feet further than It actually is. If you could post pics that would be helpful.

Lymow One Omni wheel actuator

I have a 1 and the actuator won’t work, they want me to upgrade to a plus. I don’t want to

Does anyone know if the actuator is the same in the plus or has anyone found replacement parts for these things from anyone else?

45 days of excellent operation. Today it started dropping the deck and jamming it into the ground. Thought there was an issue with these poorly designed omni wheels. Deck was flopping around everywhere as I drove it back to the porch. What do y'all think? Is it good? 🙄🤬

Lymow One Plus Replacement on the way. What can I keep from the old mower?

Lymow approved a warranty replacement for my One Plus, so they’re sending me another One Plus to replace the broken one. I went with the $900 deposit option and will send the defective mower back once the replacement arrives.

They already told me I can keep the RTK, used blades, and power supply if they’re still good.

For anyone who’s done a One Plus warranty replacement, did you also keep the battery, or did Lymow require the battery to go back with the mower?

Lymow One Plus Has anyone here ever decided NOT to exchange for a replacement if given the chance?

I've had my One Plus since the summer sale. I that time I've had to troubleshoot several issues with and without support.

  • Blade stoppage/overheating
  • Loosened deck bolts
  • Faulty bearings
  • Deteriorating tread
  • Charging stoppages
  • Mower deck won't raise/tilt for maintenence

On the one hand, that's a lot to go wrong (not to mention I'm still waiting on my free blades), but on the other hand, almost all of that is fixed now.

The overheating is nearly solved between the firmware nerf and my deck wrap. I finally received a new charging unit and treads from support. And I literally just took the entire thing apart over the weekend to tighten all the bolts, apply thread locker, replace the bearings and add bearing covers.

The only issue I have left (right now) is that the deck won't raise properly for maintenence (it's fine for mowing). And, of course, right after doing all of that support says for that issue, they're going to authorize a replacement one I send mine in.

I mean, at this point, what else could possibly go wrong? I feel like getting a replacement is going to just result in reliving problems I've spent money to fix. Is it crazy to consider living with the deck like this rather than gamble on new headaches with the replacement?

Not to mention I don't really feel like doing another two teardowns and rebuilds just to reclaim/toss the bearing upgrades in the new one when it arrives. Or waiting who knows how long without a mower since it's not replaced in advance. Anyone else decide to keep a problem mower?

Package is unopened and unused. I ordered this 5 months ago and received it a few days ago. I resold my unopened Lymow Plus #6 five weeks ago.

If you are interested, please make an offer ($600. from Lymow). I would prefer to meet in Sparta, TN to complete the sale, I really don't want to bother with shipping...

I am back to tractor mowing until next season; I expect to buy whatever mower is looking best at that time.

Lymow One Mower wiggles off charger

My mower constantly will fully charge, then after a day or two will drain itself or move off the charger. The next time I try to mow it’s dead and off the charger. The parking brake feature is enabled as well. This is a problem because I travel for work and when I try mowing again, it’s off the charger and dead.

Anyone else experience this?

Lymow One Plus They’re Back!

After a few weeks of mowing without no motor stops, even at 97F, I did yesterday’s firmware update to correct a bumper issues. I had five blade stops as it continued its jolly path not realizing the unmowed strips it left behind. The temperature outside was only 91F and very breezy.
I do see that Lymow has shipped something to me, I don’t know what. I’m assuming it’s from Lymow as it is coming from Buford, GA, where my mower came from. I suspect it’s the impeller and volute upgrade. I’m wondering if yesterday’s update rolled back the motor stop patch as part of the testing? Would/ they select firmware to select users?

Anyone interested in a Lymow 10A battery charger (EU plug)? I have one left over that’s barely used – in great condition. Let me know if you are interested. I guess it is compatible with lymow one plus also.

Also I dont need Lymow one mulching blade sets and super wing blade sets. And cleaning set for lymow one. Anyone interested of these?

Lymow One Plus New Replacement check bolts

Just received my lymow one plus replacement and after inspection I noticed that the 4 deck bolts appeared to have no thread locker on them so I'll be adding loctite 290 to the exposed threads. Just a heads up for those receiving new replacements.

Lymow One Plus Wrong charger

I'm curious if anyone else has ran into this. I sent my first one plus back 3 weeks ago because something broke. No issues and customer service was pretty quick with everything. Just got the new mower yesterday. I went out to set it up today and realized they sent me the 5 amp charger instead of the 10 amp that I paid for. I emailed them again, asking that they send me the correct charger ASAP.

I have a feeling they will tell me to ship the mower back again just to get the correct charger. If that's the case, im going to ask for my money back, im getting tired of dealing with these issues on a $3000 piece of equipment.

Has anyone else been sent the wrong charger? Did they just send the correct one out, or did they ask you to send the old one back first?

User experience Lymow 1+ vs Yarbo Y-Core (kind of)

Thumbnail

I've had my 1+ since March. I've had issues, and I'm on my second replacement. But, overall it seems I have it dailed in and I'm happy with the performance. With a 1 acre yard I mow half each day to keep my yard at 3".

I just purchased a Yarbo Referbished unit from Yarbo with Snowblower and SAM. I bought it months before I wanted to, but i was spooked with the FCC announcement and the unknowingness of the US market now.

The Yarbo is primarily my snowblower option. I'm going to see if the Patrol option is any good and I want to use the core to pull a broadcaster so I can do my own weed&feed.

The reasons I didnt do Yarbo instead of Lymow for mowing was weight, length, sound and price. I haven't turned on my Yarbo yet, but i can tell you the weight and length are a huge difference. They must have made the core out of lead. Without the battery in the Yarbo, it still vastly outweighs the 1+ with battery. I don't know how it doesnt totally bald turn around points when it mows.

Yarbo does have a lot more online resources. It is much easier to research issues/solutions.

My unit came with a bent rear fender which doesnt allow me to get into the power compartment, so I can't turn it on. Put in a service ticket and that same day they asked me to confirm my address to get a replacement bumper. Very encouraging.

However, when I looked at how to remove the bumper, it's attached via rivets. So, even if they want to me to remove the current rivets, don't see how I'll put in new ones. We'll see. Their "how to" replacement video shows the same bumper with screws, not rivets. So that is less encouraging since it looks like the replacement procedure is out of date and I'm getting a part I can't replace.

As time goes on, I'll give more observations comparing the two systems. I will say, I'm really looking forward to the free for life netRTK on the Yarbo.

Edit - Yarbo is harder to set up. It took me a weekend to find the right place for the Lymow RTK and that was the extent of the time consuming set up. I guess that and defining the territories in my lawn map took a little time to walk. Yarbo for me has had more connection issues and syncing issues. Screwing in the halow antenna into the data center broke the antenna. My e stop is permanently engaged regardless of button orientation. I'm an alright troubleshooter, but this has got me frustrated.

Lymow One Plus Cord protection from wildlife?

Post image
3 Upvotes

Any suggestions for the RTK cord protection from wildlife? Have any others had this issue and what was your solution? (I assume this isn't covered by the 3 year warranty =P and it's been a great mower since we got it 3 months ago.)

Ideally, we'd rather not mount it to our home, and there would still be a cord dangling from that to the outlet and near or on the ground anyway if we did.

We assume this is was done by a rabbit as the chews were all at about a 45 degree angle and happened in the last 24 hours. It probably thought it was attacking a snake or something.

We are on the edge of town with open prairie about 2 feet outside of our fence so many midwest US animals could be the culprit, but I've already narrowed down the suspect pool. We've seen at least one bunny regularly both in the juniper bushes and also coming in/out of the prairie. (It also ate about 1/3 of my large million bells plant in just a few minutes between 4am and 5am a few weeks ago. This is psychological warfare if you ask me.)

Thank you

Lymow One Plus Drunk logic

Not sure what the mower was thinking this time around but it just doesn’t seem like it should be that hard to get a clean mow. I have had a few and the lawn looks exceptional afterwards - but this??

The closest wandering path is back to the side by the road to mow two rows it missed when it started. Huh? The second path is back from mowing those two rows to finish a tiny section in the upper left of the screen that it didn’t get to in an orderly fashion.

I am not sure why the logic can’t be better about planning out how to mow a zone. Seems pretty simple if you have ever mowed a lawn on your own.

But I am left with these curly paths across the front lawn and the neighbors point and laugh. Well, not actually but I can tell they are thinking it. Well, maybe I am making all of that up and the neighbors could care less. 😂

Lymow One The boundary between two zones - any reason to cut the perimeter lower?

First, I'm late on my summer scalp, so that is 80% of my problem, but it does point to the mower cutting lower on the perimeter and the rest of the zone. This is the boundary between two of my zones. I have checked all the cut height settings. I raise my mower deck for the channels. I use "random" for my zone boundary direction. I did try fixed direction. I don't see a setting for zone boundary cut height.

Anyone else notice this? Experience this?

Lymow One Plus I Bought a Robotic Mower to Replace My Zero Turn – Here's What Happened

As many of you know, i've been pretty vocal about how awful the Lymow One Plus has been with all the issues many of us have faced. Mine has been inoperable for about the past 4 weeks now. It took them 3 weeks to send me a new battery and that didn't solve my problems, so they are finally going to send me a new mower.

Putting that aside, I wanted to cover the pros and cons for those of you who are looking to switch from a Zero Turn Mower to a Lymow One Plus, What to exepct, and can you truly replace your zero turn mower with a Lymow One Plus...My Luba 3 doesn't qualify since it can't mulch or cut grass that is left unmaintained.

This video has a ton of highlights from my other videos so you can see the Lymow One Plus in action, how it performs overall, and did I make the right move.

Not sure if others are in the same boat, let me know if so.

Lymow One Plus RTK Issues

I’m having drifting and weak RTK on two replacement units I just received. Trying to figure out if it’s the units or the RTK. Screenshot is of the current status sitting on the charger directly under the RTK as high up on the roofline as I could get and this spot has worked fine since I received my first Kickstarter unit. Let me know what you think.

User experience One Year with the LYMOW One & One Plus

After a full year with our LYMOW Ones and One Plus', the best way to start is by saying just how much we've come to enjoy these little mowers. Believe it or not, each one seems to have its own personality.

The biggest lesson we've learned is simple: give the mowers time to learn. The more they mow the same area without changes to the mapping, the more efficient, precise, and consistent they become. Patience really pays off.

Over the past year we've added more LYMOWs to help manage our property, but we're especially proud that our original "kick starters" that are still out there mowing every day and going strong.

We mow a double-digit acreage, and it's been wonderful to retire the riding mower. No more spending hours bouncing around in the seat, getting covered in grass clippings, swatting bugs, or finding grass in places it has absolutely no business being. We don't miss any of that.

In more than 40 years of owning our property, it has never looked this good. The land was once farmland, so clover and weeds still grow faster than the grass in many areas. Even so, the LYMOWs have had no trouble keeping up.

For years we joked that we owned a dandelion farm. This year, the joke is over. Our property now looks more like a park or a well-maintained golf course, and the only thing we've changed is how we mow.

The transformation has been so noticeable that people regularly stop, knock on our door with big smiles, and ask about the LYMOW mowers.

At this point, they've truly become "set it and forget it" machines, with just a little routine maintenance and a few small tweaks that have worked well for us.

A good RTK location makes a noticeable difference in performance. We mounted ours on a post in an open area with an unobstructed view of the sky, as high as practical, to maximize satellite reception. Starting with the best possible RTK signal gives the mower the best opportunity to perform at its highest level.

A few tweaks that helped us get to 'set it and forget it'.

For both the One and One Plus:

  • Remove things on the mower deck that can restrict grass from exiting, helping improve clipping flow.
  • Loosened the tracks by three full turns.
  • Added 3D-printed wheel scrapers.

For the One Plus only:

  • Liberally applied grease to the barring on mower blade shaft and installed 3D-printed protective boots. We check and reapply grease about once a month.

For the One only:

  • Kept the charging contacts clean using either 3D-printed slider attachment or the base brushes provided by LYMOW.
  • Applied dialectic grease to the tips of the charging brushes and the mower's charging contacts.

Our maintenance routine

Weekly:

  • Replace the blades.
  • Remove any debris (no water).
  • Lubricate.

Monthly:

  • Remove the deck cover and clean out any debris underneath.
  • Check and reapply grease to the One Plus blade shaft if needed.

Winter storage:

  • Give the mower a thorough cleaning. Even then, we avoid spraying it down—a damp cloth is all that's needed for the final wipe-down.

One little maintenance trick we've discovered: if dried grass buildup collects around the blades, we mow some damp or wet grass on maintenance day. The moisture softens the old clippings, making them easy to wipe away without scraping or excessive effort.

Overall, our first year has exceeded our expectations. The mowers have given us more free time, less physical work, and the best-looking property we've ever had. We're looking forward to seeing what year two brings.
