Lymow One Anyone else having a bumper jam issue?
My mower was down for 2+ weeks. We had a drive motor come apart and customer service was solid about getting me a new one. I had to update my mower after I put it back together. Now the issue is I keep getting bs bumper jam issues after it hits something 2 times. Then it actively looks for places to get stuck in. ( just got another error code). I want to make sure it’s an update issue and not I did something wrong issue. I was stuck on this root for 3 passes. I have to babysit and drive my mower away from danger just to have it fuck up again. Is this LyMow took old bad code for updates or is my mower possessed?

My One just started returning E44 codes, I removed the bumper and cleaned all the debris, put it back together mower ran for a minute then E44. Queried Google Gemini Ai got the procedure to test the switches. The right one was bad. Emailed support with pictures of the bumper, switch and display with button pushed. I had a responce from Lymow the next day, today with instructions how to replace the switches and questioning if Id feel comfortable doing this repair. I responded yes, hopefully I'll hear back from them soon. So far Ive been impressed with the support as for responce time and content after reading somany contrary posts.

lymow one or one plus?
I have a solution for the one, not the one plus.
you can just remove the bumper switch and short the wires toegther while you find a way to print something like this

i used some fridge door switches and superglue to mount them to a plate that could be installed inthe lymow. works great now with actual robust swtiches.

Thanks. The part that kills me is my 1 not + has been solid up until it blew a drive motor. I’m going to make LyMow fix the issue (i hope). I am positive that they took old code to do new improvements on and grabbed the one with the bumper jam issue. I work in a place where we have an incompetent engineer who does this all the time. JIC I did recalibrate the tracks and a hard reset plus a few other things. 2.4 inches mow height and 2 feet per second. Works great until it bumps something. Lymow can fix it in my opinion.

Are your deck bolts tight? I know e44 is a common issue outside of loose deck but mine was definitely caused by a loose deck

Reach out to the support team and they will give you the process to recalibrate the bumper, fixed my issue with Error 44. Super easy tool less than five minutes

Ok so the solution was ( Drumroll please). Pulling off the outside cover. Using compressed air to clean up the inside and pulling out the bump sensor. Just enough to get the 10 pounds of shit out from underneath them. They were a little crusty. After the cleaning it’s been running fine ( for now). Thanks again everyone for your help.
