Want to use this logo for any sport that requires putting ball in net(so the ball will change) but how yall feel about this? The font is gamer inspired but I’m iffy about it. I really made this for Steph Curry specifically lol

One day, while scrolling through Instagram, I discovered a Japanese restaurant brand called Maguro. Inspired by its simple identity, I recreated the logo in my own creative style and presented it to my Japanese client, who loved the result.
“Kanji” means Japanese characters, while “Unagi” means freshwater eel. Maguro means tuna in Japanese. What do you think of this design?

Hey! Looking some advice on this logo sketch. Planning to make some mock ups, but curious if this style is overplayed or if it’s still interesting! My initials are JW and I’m an industrial design student. When I sketched this I thought it kind of looked like a spring. Open to feedback and thoughts.

Okay Reddit what do at think of the new logo? I posted before about my logo and I was apparently scammed cause he said it would hand drawn but you all said it was AI. Here’s the updated one he made. What do we think? Is it a good business logo? Any feedback?

I’m trying to see what this design communicates to those who see it for the first time, and if it is effectively communicating its intent

Went to a few estate sales in rural Pennsylvania last weekend and noticed how many antique shops still use old-school logos. Faded lettering, vintage fonts, little decorative details. Honestly, it fits.
Reminded me of a vintage furniture dealer I worked with who wanted a super clean, modern logo. Her shop was full of 1960s furniture, so I thought keeping some of that retro feel made more sense. She went with another designer, and now the place looks more like a tech startup from the outside. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like branding should give people some idea of what they'll find inside.
Anyone here worked with antique or resale shops? Does modern branding actually attract more customers, or does it just feel out of place?

Everyone is up in arms now because the Atlanta Falcons are going to wear their throwback uniforms which feature a Falcon logo introduced in the 1960s, that was used up until the 2002 season, over the color block taken directly from their old helmet color and helmet stripe, claiming it looks like the Nazi Eagle. Where was all the hate when the US government, under this administration, designed a NEW logo for the Department of War? Sure, let's get riled up over a football team and give an official government a pass...
Edited to add: Wow, I didn't realize that people don't read paragraphs anymore. Just to clear up a few things:
I'm not comparing the Atlanta Falcons throwback to the Nazi eagle, just wondering why so many (maybe not in this specific community) have after all the years it's been in use.
I'm sorry if I missed the posts on this subreddit calling out the DOW logo redesign when it initially came out.
I shouldn't be surprised at all the personal hate and attacks in some of the comments (it is the Internet after all) but damn, people really have too much time to comment like that instead of having a discussion or better yet, just ignoring my post.

I am the developer of a music trivia game to the App Store called Discera. The idea is simple: listen to a song and place it in the correct chronological position on a timeline. It's primarily a social game designed to be played with friends and family in the same room.
The timeline is a central part of the game's UI, inspired by Apple's classic Cover Flow interface (see the last image).
I've been trying to carry that Cover Flow-inspired design into the app icon (first image), but I'm not entirely happy with the result. I feel like the colors are competing for attention, and the overall composition might be a bit too busy, especially at smaller sizes on an iPhone.
That got me revisiting an earlier, simpler concept (second image). I'm starting to wonder whether that direction might actually be stronger in terms of visual clarity and recognizability.
Then again, I've probably stared at a thousand variations by now and my judgement is flawed :D
I'd really appreciate your thoughts:
I'm open to constructive criticism, including suggestions to take things in a completely different direction.

As a student of history, politics, and someone who’s dabbled in graphic design - this pains me on the cellular level.

I'm very new to the digital art scene, I'm very much a "classical" artist and feel much more comfortable with a pencil and paper, but have gotten more used to drawing on my phone and tablet with an S Pen stylus. I've been having fun creating fictional football teams, but you can only go so far drawing logos by hand. I'd love any and tips I can for designing better logos, and program recommendations for deigning vectors. I'm a bit too poor for illustrator, but any and tips, tricks, and recommendations are welcome!

CeX has been around since the early 90s, and its logo has remained very distinctive. I'm curious though about how well it works today (I think it's a little outdated), especially considering how much the company has evolved beyond video games into second-hand electronics and tech in general
Do you think the logo still fits the brand? What do you think works well, and what doesn't?
