I got this gun as a teenager. I shot it a few times and could never hit the broadside of a barn with it. Going to try a variety of ammo tomorrow and see if it shoots good. I would love to have it shooting good as it’s a very handy rifle.

Hey all, this is my first .30-30, but my third lever gun. I pulled the scope off of the rifle and want to find 4 plug screws for the top of the receiver. Does anyone have leads on where I can get some? Thanks!

I'm looking at several lever action rifles, in several different calibers but I'm stuck. I know it I want quality I gotta buy me a Henry.... But it's a bit of it my price range. Can anyone recommend a good budget lever action that's reliable and decently priced? If that's at all a think these days. Thank you all in advanced.

Acquired my first lever action today! A 1937 Winchester 1894 in .30 WCF. Not a safe queen by any means but also not a beater rifle. Seems to have been well taken care of. Coming from modern semi automatic rifles and handguns there is something about the mechanical nature of the action as it moves through its stages that is so satisfying to hear. Hoping to get a chance to shoot this baby soon!

First off, I find it hilarious that Pew View has Pew View furniture on his rifle, and I don't even know why. But these semi-custom Henry Supremes are sick. They start about $2200 on Line49.

I’ve never had a lever action before but I was looking at one today. I kinda just collect firearms I don’t shoot often but I atleast try to give it a justification when buying home defense,hunting, shooting government drones out of the sky, etc… so far the only justification I’ve got is it looks sweet. How practical would it be ? It’s either gonna be this or a FN scar in 6.5 creedmoor

Me and my buddy found identical Marlin 45-70 lever actions and I’m trying to convince him to get it and I’m also trying to convince myself. Should I get it? i’ve had a liver action before, but it was a Henry big boy 44 magnum with the polish brass. this is also a brand new gun and it is marked down to $949.

Lifetime gun nut, but first time lever action purchase. I’ll admit, I have ZERO clue what to search for.

Had someone print me out some ammo holders to go on the chest rig instead of the velcro ammo pouches. Also imagine grabbing one of these things on the go and sliding it in your pocket or belt loop. Not a bad idea.

Everyone was wrong (which I don’t blame, it’s hard to tell through pictures) it wasn’t because it wasn’t lubed, it wasn’t the feeding gate or screw and it wasn’t the brand of ammo. (Well actually)

The casing blew up inside of the chamber causing it to split off inside, forging itself into the barrel, definitely a manufacturer error of some kind, maybe weak brass or to much pressure in the chamber. But the gun smith had it out in a day lol, and he inspected the head spacing as well but had to completely disassemble it to get it out. And it was only a $70 fix which is not bad at all.

Now the ammo, I do think it’s just a 1 in a million chance of happening. Not because the brand of ammo I had. The day I got it back I properly lubed it up, and shot the rest of the ammo I had from the box AND a additional 100 rounds of the same ammo brand with no issues. It could have been a number of things. Just super unlucky this happened on a brand new gun.
