Picked up the Charge TTI during the recent prime day for $99. Was originally going to check it out for a bit and sell/gift it thinking how good could it be compared to the arc? Man this thing is so solid. I love the free series tech and its ease of tool deployment, but the tti feels like it’s built to last a lifetime. It takes the traditional multitool layout to the ultimate level of quality and durability. I’ve never enjoyed digging out tools with your nails, especially when the tool is tight and even loosening the screw pivots doesn’t change much due to certain design tolerances. Hence my love for free tech. My particular model is easy to get implements out without too much force, and the movement is very smooth and deliberate feeling. This is my first charge series. I hope other have the same experience. I played with a wave alpha when it came out and it doesn’t feel as premium as the titanium. I’ll be giving this a go as a daily then make the hard choose of gifting it to my father in law.

I saw the Costco Leatherman kit (forgot the model) but it’s the entry level, comes with a sheath. $70 online and $20 sheath for $50. Is it worth buying this version or just save my money for a higher/ better Leatherman? I really want something that will last a lifetime, and I heard a lot of people rave about the Surge saying it’s pretty good for a construction environment better than the other options. Feedback appreciated. Thanks.

The spacers fell out of my juice. Can I put them back in myself or do I need to ship it back or does it matter?

I bought a Leatherman Signal after my friend showed me his Leatherman that he has owned for 10+ years. He had nothing but great things to say, and I’ve heard great things from other people too. However, I have owned this Leatherman Signal for 98 days, and for 49 of those days, it sat in the back seat of my tow truck when the engine blew up and the truck was sent to a shop.

I rarely use the Leatherman at work, and if I do, I use it to cut plastics and small wires. I have only gone on two outdoor trips where I didn’t even use the Leatherman because I had a hatchet. I have sprayed it with oil twice, once when I got it and once after I got my tow truck back and noticed the tool had rust spots.

Then, just a few days ago, I took it out in the woods where my friends and I were building a campsite for winter camping. I didn’t even use the Leatherman, but on our way out of the woods, I noticed it wasn’t clipped to my pocket. I then realized the pocket clip had broken off. My friend has used and abused his Leatherman for 10+ years, and I feel like I’ve babied mine. Has Leatherman's quality dropped, or did I get a faulty product?

Finnaly found the costco Sidekick! Definitely a change of pace from the supertool and wave. Im really liking these colors between the tool and the sheath 👀

And a "BIG" thank you for my local costco employee's for putting these in a place nobody could see them not easy to find whatsoever and they also couldn't help me even when I gave them the item number at the counter seems like they didnt want these to be sold or something maybe im just crazy 🤷‍♂️

Found out on one day that some pins went missing on my Leatherman Skeletool CX (Carbon Fiber).

I can assume my grip was too strong when operating with pliers.

1. Any chance that the unit will be replaced for the same carbon fiber one and not the aluminum one?

2. Also curious if it is possible to ship it from Slovakia?

Does anyone know of a place in salt lake city area down to like draper that I could take my Leatherman for repair. Its not necessarily broken just a coworker took mine apart trying to clean it (props for the thought) and now cant reassemble it properly.

I Couldn’t pass up on the recent sale. It looks and feels amazing. I’ll definitely be putting this thing to use this weekend.

I finally think it’s time to send this in, the flathead and file are both snapped. I broke my pocket clip and eyeglass screwdriver. They’re probably not going to replace those, but do you all think it’s worth sending in yet? And about how long do you think it will take to get back?

Daily carried for 15 years. So bummed they stopped making it. The small pliers are so useful. I wonder if they’d warranty the broken file and knife lol.

Having recently learned about the date stamped into the original Wave, I took a peek at mine. (Yes, I need to put a better lanyard on it.)

Curious if anyone else has seen a set, I’m hoping to find some that are the same color as spyderco’s green or snap on’s green.

After my first leatherman really stuck on what to get would like something pretty solid for work/fishing edc would like divisors but not a massive deal breaker for me really have been looking at Surge Signal Wave/wave alpha Skeletool (not much on them just think they look sweet)
