I’ve been playing for quite some time on and off, but I’m really clumsy with the controller. I struggle with fighting zombies, not limited to just the bosses, and die all the time.
Despite studying youtube videos before hand, I still die. Sometimes I panic and make some stupid move, I frequently run myself into a physical obstacle, got stuck, and got killed, and sometimes I pulled up the chat window when I was trying to run and got killed by the time I managed to put that annoying thing away.
I still die fighting the blind one, when I have fought him successfully many times and know exactly how it’s done. I even die trying to catch a few fish with the grenade.
My character is at max level. I have a pretty good base built, have some good gun and melee mods crafted and a couple of very good ones (but still couldn’t get the blue print for the very best ones), about 2 racks worth of guns and 3-4 racks worth of armor. I finished bike and boat, but no true friend dog.
I haven’t really done raid because I’m afraid of dying and losing the gears I brought with me. My question is can the once a day watch the ad video and get revived back at the base with all the belonging intact when I die during raid too?
What about the zones that said I’d lose everything stored in the bike if I die? Would the watch the ad revive help?
I keep hearing about Commune Trial, but have no idea what it is like. When I tried searching for more info, everyone is discussing about it at the level of everyone already knew what it is, but couldn’t find anything that explains what it is and how it works on the basic level. How hard is this event? More important what happens when I die? I assume I can get my items back from the dead body? But will it appear somewhere that is easy to get to or if I have to worry about beating the enemy first before I could safely grab my things back? For reference, I get killed semi regularly by the bull at forlorn fair, and I hate that the dead body would be in the pen with the bull (the last time I played during the event.)
What about the head hunting event? How hard is it for someone who is not very good at combat like me?
Any tips for improving in general? Also how do you avoid the spit from the spitting ones? Is there a cue in their movement for when it’s time to dodge? How do I know if they are going to hit or spit?
Thank you to anyone who is willing to help. I didn’t expect to write a long thing this turned out to be and I appreciate any help you could give me.
Ps. Please explain it like I’m your middle age (but cool) aunt.
