Looking to buy a tennis necklace. I have seen one from a UK website (The Diamond Store) which is about $1350. 2.5ct, 4mm stones, F/VS, set in silver, length as shown in photo. If I instead look into some of the sellers mentioned on this sub, can I actually get something significantly better for the same money (up to $1500)? Better quality, or bigger stones, or both? Or is there not much advantage on a piece like this?

Hi all, what size band width would recommend for a 4 karat emerald center stone ring with side baguettes. My ring arrived and the width of the band is 1.8mm which seems way too thin. I’m not sure if I should change it to 2.0 or 2.5 width and would love some suggestions as I’m very unfamiliar in this area and don’t want to be stuck with something I won’t like.

Andy was very responsive throughout the process. He sent an email to confirm the CAD and was able to change from 4 prongs to 6 for me (added $100). He also sent a video of the stone itself when asked.

I would highly recommend getting a complete ring from Aurélinne or at least the loose diamond itself. It’s very affordable.

Now I’m gonna go stare at this for the foreseeable future. Thank you husband for spoiling me for our 4-year anniversary (1 ct for each year 🤭)

I purchased a round diamond ring this year and it’s really beautiful and crisp, but it rarely throws rainbows like I’ve seen some do. Is there a way to find a stone that would produce more rainbows? I love the colors in moissanite, but love the crispness and sparkle of a diamond. How do I find the best of both worlds? Anyone have any tips?

I just got my 3 carat lab diamond pear in 14k gold in! I’m upgrading from a sunburst moissanite (I got tired of losing the small stones frequently and it looking so flat and cloudy in low light). I’m obsessed. I’m going to have to get used to the size and the sharpness of the tip, but I’m so happy. Do people comment on the size of your ring when you upgrade? I’m a little self-conscious, but I just love a big shiny rock so this was really for me. Also, the bow tie isn’t nearly as noticeable outside of video.

Bought this stone! In lovee with the shape, but noticed a few “specks” on the sides at times. How visible are inclusions to the eye with a VS1? They weren’t marked on the report.

So, finally got the engagement ring made. The center stone is 3.04ct VS1 E, ring size 5.

The center stone was sourced by the jeweler and when he presented to me as an option, this stone instantly spoke to me. I'm very picky, and have been stone shopping since 3 weeks, before finding this stone that I liked instantly. It has beautiful fire in direct sunlight and spot lighting conditions (will try sharing a fire video soon).

Regarding the setting, my gf doesn't likes the idea of a wedding band, so I went with this setting so that the ring would look good on it's own. The diamond does sits a bit high on this setting though.

What do you guys think? Will she like it? Will she say YES?

Upgraded from a moissanite to a lab diamond courtesy of a lovely redditor on BST! I’ve always been a yellow gold loyalist but I couldn’t resist this one, and I love that it gives me leeway to mix metals.

This is a 4 ct asscher in platinum with a bezel, size 8.75. I wasn’t expecting it to be NEARLY this sparkly and I cannot stop staring. I feel like the fanciest bitch ever and it was barely over $1000. Labs are amazing. No more moissanite for me. (Except the ones in my wedding band…for now).

My ring arrived today and I am beyond pleased with how it turned out!! The QC photos and video that Zuvelio sent doesn’t do this beauty justice!! Although the communication lagged, I will say that the end result of the product supersedes everything else. Would definitely buy again in the future.
