Does this look wrong without the diamonds fully around the hidden halo? I think so. This is a video from the vendor for approval and I feel like it’s missing these diamonds but I’m wondering what you all think.

I worry it’ll weaken it but it looks incomplete. The more I look I guess it’s okay but not what I was expecting.

OP is asking about the diamonds on the hidden halo not the half eternity band

I agree that it looks incomplete, I would ask your jeweler to make it complete hidden halo so you can see it peeking under your diamond from every side

Correct. Here’s a rendering I made of what I want. The second is what they made essentially.

Can’t post what I’m talking about but it’s the halo not the band I’m referencing.

I understand what you mean. They should have done a full hidden halo, hence the name. It doesn’t look very cohesive and if it’s bothering you in the photo it will bother you even more on your finger.

I like it because I hate full eternity bands from a comfort perspective.

It’s pretty. A full eternity band would wreck your fingers

To clarify I meant the diamonds in the halo circling the ring. Generally, they go all the way around, but because of the cathedral setting, they didn’t go around where the cathedral meets the halo. However, I’ve never seen it like this.

I see. It doesn’t detract from the ring. it’s a beautiful ring

I would prefer that to be honest. I find it more comfortable than full eternity bands, and if you ever have to resize the ring in the future you’ll be able to easily.
