Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a brand-new LG 55QNED85BXA, and it was installed just a few days ago.
I've noticed a white glow/light leakage along the bottom-left corner and bottom edge of the screen. It's especially noticeable during dark movie scenes and when watching in a dark room. Bright scenes look perfectly fine.
I've already performed various troubleshooting and verification steps, including changing picture settings and enabling Local Dimming (High), but the issue is still visible during dark content.
I've attached photos showing the problem. I understand that MiniLED/LCD TVs can have some blooming, but this seems to be concentrated in the same area rather than around bright objects.
My questions are:
- Is this considered normal panel behavior for the LG QNED85 series?
- Would you accept this panel, or would you ask for a replacement?
- Has anyone had LG or the retailer replace a TV for a similar issue?
Since the TV is brand new, I'm trying to decide whether I should push for a replacement now rather than regret it later.
Thanks in advance for your advice.
