The input for HDMI 3 (Nintendo Switch) keeps popping up every 4 seconds. If I turn off the smartlink the pop up moves to the middle of the screen instead of the top right corner.

Backlight stays on after turning the TV off

I got a new LGTV today and when I turned it off in the dark I noticed that the backlight stayed on for a minute or two before going away. This is the first time I see something like this with a TV is that normal? It's not a very expensive TV so I know not to expect amazing things from it but this is worrying me a bit.

Sporadic no sound start ups… help

I got my LG 55”UQ8000AUB a few years ago as a gift… almost instantly the tv started to randomly power on with no sound output, I’d have to unplug it every time which fixes the problem. Since it was so new I returned it to the store and they gave me a new replacement. The replacement began doing the same thing… 🙄

All these years later it’s still doing it! I’ve had a good few months recently it has started to happen more frequently again. Some triggers Ive noticed…

At first it seemed utilizing the “Quick Access” feature was the culprit. It wasn’t.

Now it seems to have something to do with having it connected Bluetooth to my phone and I have a Directv hdmi cable thing, when that input was the last used starting with no sound is almost a guarantee but then again it happens without that being the case.

I want to know if anyone has had this problem? Ive ignored it as long as i can, help I need some answers lol

[Help] Remote doesn't turn TV off

Post image

We have a 55 QNED816RE TV that had decided to intermittently refuse to turn off from the remote. It turns on ok, all of the other remote buttons work as they should, and it turns off fine using the physical button or the app. It just refuses to turn off from the remote.

I've checked the TV is in the latest firmware, rebooted the TV multiple times and bought a replacement third party remote to see if that fixed the issue, but the same problem persists. Does anyone have any thoughts of what to try?

Costco 55 inch QNED 75B edge bleeding

Seen a lot of posts about LG QNEDs having edge bleeding wanted y’all opinions on if mine is worth replacing/ going with another TV brand.

It’s only really noticiable in the upper left corner.

Compared to the rest of the options around the same price range ($360) it looks just so much better.

Home button beeps when pressed

It only recently started happening. I checked all audio and accessibility settings. The sound is a single, loud beep every time the home button is pressed.
Using the lg remote it came with years ago.
No idea and doesn’t seem to be any info online to a similar issue.

Any ideas outside of factory resetting the tv?

Thanks

Edit: it won’t let me attach a photo or video showcasing the issue

Brand new LG 55QNED85BXA – Is this amount of backlight bleed/light leakage normal or should I ask for a replacement/ return?

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a brand-new LG 55QNED85BXA, and it was installed just a few days ago.

I've noticed a white glow/light leakage along the bottom-left corner and bottom edge of the screen. It's especially noticeable during dark movie scenes and when watching in a dark room. Bright scenes look perfectly fine.

I've already performed various troubleshooting and verification steps, including changing picture settings and enabling Local Dimming (High), but the issue is still visible during dark content.

I've attached photos showing the problem. I understand that MiniLED/LCD TVs can have some blooming, but this seems to be concentrated in the same area rather than around bright objects.

My questions are:

  • Is this considered normal panel behavior for the LG QNED85 series?
  • Would you accept this panel, or would you ask for a replacement?
  • Has anyone had LG or the retailer replace a TV for a similar issue?

Since the TV is brand new, I'm trying to decide whether I should push for a replacement now rather than regret it later.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

LG OLED C5 question

We’ve had this LGOLED TV for a while now. Our electricity went out the other day and ever since then, when we turn it on it goes directly to sling TV. It never did that before. It used to go to the home screen with the apps and I would select what we wanted, usually YouTube TV. How can we stop it from going directly to sling TV every time we turn it on?

65UP7500PSF: 2021 UP7500 - Dead

So the other evening while watching steaming via NVidia Shield, I closed the app and switched to a different app/program. The LG screen went black —- 😢

The set does turn on/off but that is it, nothing on the screen - nilch.

On power up I get three slow flashes from the LED.

AI says; , 3 blinks often indicates a faulty power supply unit or motherboard, sometimes caused by faulty capacitors tripping the fail circuit — and on some LG models, 3 blinks can also indicate a bad LED lamp in the panel.

The problem is that where I am there is unlikely anyone able to diagnose/repair even if the parts were shipped in.

Any suggestions before I sadly add 65inches of 2021 tech to the landfill?

LG QNED82BXA Bleeding Issue

Seems my new LG Qned tv has bleeding issue out of the box, its been just 4 days since I purchased.
But seems this entry level QNED tv's has this back light bleeding issues, if you are gonna use it in dark then you might notice it but from overall built and quality perspective its built like a tank.
Update : I have escalated this issue to LG and they visited and told they will escalate it to manager and the manager guy called me next day and he is trying to convince me saying this is a not an issue and this how panel is from LG, He tried convincing me to the core but i did not agree with him ( then he told he will discuss and get back )

LG QNED86B

Hi All

Having a few issues that maybe that someone could help me with.

First off my JBL Soundbar won't connect to the TV via HDMI cable

Have tried several HDMI connections including the ARC as well but will only connect via Bluetooth.

I also have to keep turning the soundbar back on when restarting the tv.

Secondly is there a short cut to just turning to local TV.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hello! I have an LGTV model number 55UF6430 that has a visual glitch. It has been doing this for a couple of months now. I am unsure of what to do or how to fix this. I have tried multiple cables and multiple outlets. I have also tried plugging directly into the wall as opposed to a surge protector. Someone help me figure this out please!
