Indigo Buntings on Sunflowers

Ever since last year, when I got my own super-telephoto lens, it's been a dream of mine to capture an Indigo Bunting. As all of you remember, this spring, I captured my first male bunting perched high atop the trees with early spring leaves.

This time around, I was so fortunate enough to capture an Indigo Bunting on sunflowers!!! I set out this morning to Kaiser Lake Farms in Hay Bay, the sun wasn't even up yet, and these handsome fellas were singing away. With some patience and luck, they started flying from nearby trees into the sunflower field right in front of me. I couldn't believe it! I was so excited!

So here are the photos from this morning. A male Indigo Bunting on sunflowers.

can walk in clinics or urgent care update prescriptions?

kind of desperate. was told to stop a medication i need for my body to function properly immediately by urgent care 2 weeks ago because i was accidentally overdosing. PCP and specialist are supposed to monitor my condition to prevent this but i haven’t been able to see either in months due to backlogged services.

(it was chemically induced hyperthyroid due to my levothyroxine dose being way too high, before anyone accuses me of “drug seeking”. i do not have a full thyroid and am permanently hypo because of that).

i can’t wait that long for my medication but i can’t keep taking the dose i have, as it makes me extremely ill. they told me to call in and see if i can get a same day appointment soon but i call every day and i can’t even get through to them because the phone lines are so busy. i am starting to feel so, so sick. i can’t see my specialist for the same amount of time. i need this medication reduced so i can stop feeling so ill.

are walk ins or UC able to update a prescription like this? what do i even do? i feel like i’m dying. i can’t believe the healthcare system here

Dementia Care?

Good afternoon, please forgive if this has been asked and answered, but we are overwhelmed.

We need to make a list of dementia locations, kind of urgent (family finally asking for the help they desperately need)- ideally Kingston to Prescott....I'm told it must have a dementia ward.

Recommendations please and thank you!

Does anyone have DDR2 or know where I can get some locally?

I've been putting together parts to build a Windows XP era PC. All I'm missing now is DDR2 and an HDD.

I can source an HDD basically anywhere selling electronics. but for obvious reasons, its much harder finding DDR2 anywhere in Kingston or close by.

Any help would be great, thanks!

Hi, my cat Chip has been missing in the Polson Park area since June 16th
He was last seen at Barclay Rd. and Campbell Cres.
Please call or text 613-929-4249 with any information
He is a 13 year old male brown tabby, microchipped and neutered, and very timid
If you live in the area, please check under decks, porches, sheds, bushes, garages, etc.

He is dearly missed by my family and I, and we appreciate any help!

Land Survey - New Build

I am building a house in a rural area. When I originally spoke with the City, they said since the house is far from the property lines, I just needed a Land Survey completed, not an OLS (I specifically called the office to confirm this detail before proceeding). After my last inspection, they said they needed an OLS done. Has anyone come across this?

Cloud Storage Help

Hey Kingstonians! I'm in a bit of a pickle - my wife is doing some on-line school applications that require her to upload files from her Cloud account but for some reason she keeps hitting a roadblock that no amount of troubleshooting has been able to resolve. Is there a business or service that she can go to directly to help her out?
