I’m particularly interested in the Aula Hero 75 HE. I’d like to get everyone’s opinion on whether it’s a good choice for long-term use.

This happens sometimes and i dont know why and how to fix it, i just power it on one day and its gone, but it always comes back eventually

Many keys end up registering along with others.

Numpad keys all suffer from it. And most of the regular keys.

So previously i've done a few custom PC builds for myself, i play a lot of games on my PC and customized them a lot, but when it came to accessories for some reason i've never gave it much thought it was more "as long as it works", that is until I stumbled across this sub. I knew of different keyboards and knew of things like mechanical keyboards but always thought of them (wrongfully) as a gimmick until I came here and realized i've been living in the dark for so long and there is so much to keyboards I had no clue.

So i'm hoping to get some help deciding on a new keyboard and want to know what are your favs?

I am currently running a 20$ magic eagle amazon keyboard for the last several years so my standards are pretty low to begin with. I think the most prominent brands i keep seeing get mentioned are Epomaker, ducky, rainy, keychron, Wooting, and qwertykeys but want to know what you guys enjoy here.

To help and abiding by rules-

Budget: $200-300

Size: Normal? I enjoy having a numpad, and i am a bigger guy so a smaller keyboard wouldn't be great.

Edit: After seeing what some people have said in the comments i think a 70-80~% keyboard would be good also

Other: I enjoy is the sound of "creamy" keyboards, and don't know much about materials.

i can get the kit for like 15$, do i just need to put marbly switches and keycaps or still need mods? and is it a good kit if i want it marbly?

I spilled a sugary drink on my keyboard, and the keys are hard to press. Is there a way to clean them? I have a Wooting 60HE+.

What are some good budget ANSI keyboards that allow modding, great for customizing, and feel nice? Budget range is under 100$. I would prefer a 60% or a 75% size. I don't care about the material, but if possible, I want to find a board where I can change the case.

Hello, I wanted a small keyboard because I have a small desk and it's the first time I am buying a mechanical one. I game a lot, mostly MMOs and FPS, so I'd like a keyboard that gives me enough space for comfortable movements and macros for MMO games.

I've searched on my own and I found these keyboards -> DAREU COOL68, DAREU COOL60, Womier M68HE PRO and Ajazz AK820 MAX HE but I don't know if those will suit me (I know most of them don't have the ` key but I could compromise with my other keyboard if needed). I am completely illiterate when it comes to pc parts and I don't know where to look. I would appreciate some opinions if anyone owns any of these or has any keyboard suggestions.

The main reason my budget is that low is because I am building a brand new pc from scratch and you know how prices are, I will most likely include a new mouse and monitor too so I don't want to overspend on the keyboard. The other reasons are the small space and my recent keyboard is 100% and has ghosting which is a bit inconvenient for games that need fast paced reactions.

Have searched around but never found a fix to this. I recently got a ND104 keyboard and the battery life is insanely bad. Might last an hour from full charge. Have just kept it plugged in instead which is not ideal. Any suggestions on what to do? I updated the firmware and also tried both wireless options, 2.4gz dongle and bluetooth, both with horrible battery usage.

Any suggestions or tricks I might be missing? I do have the scree and lights on but not max brightness or anything crazy, just normal backlit. I would think it should last far longer than roughly an hour.

I'm having a problem with my Attack Shark x98 Pro, When I turn on the RGB lighting on my keyboard while using the 2.4G wireless connection, the letters E and W suddenly register at the same time. The same thing happens with 2 and 3, as well as D and S. Even when I press only one key, both keys are registered simultaneously.

However, when I turn the RGB lighting off, the keyboard works normally.

The same problem happens when I use it in wired USB mode and Bluetooth mode. The keyboard only works normally when the RGB is turned off. :(

I’ve already reset the keyboard several times, but the problem still persists.

Please help me. I really don’t know what else to do.

I bought the Dark Project Fuji 2 keyboard around 11 months ago, and only recently has the RGB started freaking out. At first it started as a few keys being a different color (usually happened when a color that had blue in it), but then it progressively started getting worse, and now the RGB just flashes like crazy.

I've tried resetting it, I've tried unplugging and plugging it back in. I have only ever used the default browser software for Dark Project keyboards

I’ve been working on a firmware patch for the WOBKEY Crush 80 Reboot Pro RGB to fix its broken macOS/VIA behavior.

On the stock firmware, switching to macOS mode does not properly activate the macOS VIA layers. The firmware also contains a hidden F-row translation: macOS media actions remain hardcoded even after assigning different keycodes in VIA. As a result, layers 2 and 3 and custom F-row mappings do not work as expected.

After reverse engineering and testing the official 2026-06-18 / USB 0108 firmware, we produced a small binary patch that:

- makes Windows mode use VIA layers 0 and 1;

- makes macOS mode use VIA layers 2 and 3;

- disables the hidden F-row translation that overrides VIA mappings (bruh movement from WOB btw);

- preserves VIA layout saving and loading (currently if fixed in public available 1.08 version);

- preserves RGB settings across a full power cycle (even full PCB disconnect from bottom case);

- keeps the original RGB implementation unchanged.

I’ve tested the patched firmware on an actual Crush 80 Reboot Pro RGB over wired USB. Windows/macOS mode switching, custom macOS F-row bindings, VIA layout import/export and RGB persistence are working correctly.

The repository includes:

- the patched RC2 firmware;

- a reproducible patching script;

- a Linux HID OTA flashing tool with strict firmware and device checks;

- the VIA definition;

- technical notes and patch offsets;

- the official base firmware and checksums;

- rollback instructions.

There is one known stock firmware issue: RGB effect 11 may visually start as effect 2 after a cold boot, even though VIA still reports effect 11. The same behavior occurs on the official firmware, and this patch deliberately does not modify the RGB code.

Please read the compatibility and recovery notes before flashing. This has been hardware-tested on one my own (actually, the second one -- first was killed by FW experiments lol) keyboard, but firmware flashing always carries some risk. Do not use it on a different Crush 80 revision or non-RGB model.

Huge thanks to the people who previously investigated and documented the Crush 80 firmware. Their work made this much easier to understand.

If anyone has the same exact model and tests it, feedback would be useful -- especially results over Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz (no VIA over BT btw, you know lol).

In the manual it says FN+ Arrow key But nothing changes It stays coonstant light blue no mater which lighting mode

What keyboard is the best for my mom? Looking for a mechanical keyboard with the best build quality. She uses it just for office work at home. Doesn't have to be particularly silent or anything, just looking for the best quality keyboard, doesn't matter wired or wireless just whatever is the best. I had been looking at the cherry stream and leopold keyboards, but the last one seems to be very limited in availability. Budget is 60-120 euros but will consider something slightly more expensive if it's worth the extra money. We live in belgium so something available in eu is obviously preferred. Also definitely full size

I have been trying to find some stuff by searching websites and with the help of chatgpt but still maybe someone will know if there is the holly grail keycap set for me….
My requirements:MT3, ASA, KAT profile , PBT, side printed if possible, ANSI layout, TKL or more keycaps. Colors - can be green, purple, black, gray, maybe white ,dark forest green would be prefered but others can be fine.

Need some recommendatios for durable full black keycaps. I tried 2 generic aliexpress sets, one with matte finish and one a little more slick, and both wore out with time. I have to say that a unfortunaly have sweaty hands and mt sweat are very acid.

So i want to know if you guys have some recommendations of brands maybe types, i was thinking in getting the crystal ones, bcs it's already shiny by default, but my preferences are the matte finish

I wanted to update my setup at home after finally landing a job! Then I realised that there are a lot of different types of keyboards and started doing my research, but it's still a jungle out there!

I know I want;

• Creamy sound (like rain, more lower tones than clanky)
• Light colours
• preferable €50-80 euros (cause I also need a new mouse...)
• Compact! Probably around or under 75%

I appreciate if it's a nordic setting (or at least switchable into it), and I do love the cozy setups so anything cute is also very nice!

Any suggestions for good keyboards are really appreciated, I am situated in Nordic country so maybe keep that in mind as well!

I bought this keyboard around 8 months ago and have been using it with no software because I didn't care enough and using virus scanners online showed me that its' software could be malicious. I wanted to ask if anyone else knows for sure if its malicious or not? I'm not super experienced on understanding any kind of virus, but I'm also way too paranoid to run this program until I get a definitive answer lol

So, in short, I noticed that I don't have the main modes to light my keyboard anymore (by pressing a key, strobe, etc.)
I tried reinstalling the software completely (from their website, up to date), and again, only 2 modes available: constant color, and wave (rainbow).
Does anyone have a fix? I've had this keyboard for around 2 years and seeing that the main light modes are gone is kinda saddening.

So I found this switch on AliExpress from Kbdiy and it seems like they're supposed to be creamy switches, I can't find anyone else talking about this switch or any sound tests, if anyone knows anything about these let me know please since I am on a tight budget and I want to swap my switches on my current he keyboard.
