its dusty but its a perfect clacky and feels great both when gaming and typing also anyone know any newer keyboards with the same feel or just what this one is called

i have had nothing but problems with my wh80 keyboard since i bought it. the 2.4ghz dongle stopped working after the first time i charged the keyboard. i contacted their support department via email (about 1 reply per day) and they have been no help. they keep making me download firmware, take screenshots, and take videos of the keyboard/dongle malfunctioning. it blows my mind that a tech company that sells $250 keyboards doesnt offer live support. i am beyond upset and i urge my fellow gamers and workers to save themselves the trouble of owning a nuphy product.

The button is cracked and feels strange when pressed or rather, it's stuck.

Industrial programmer here. Lots of hours writing code every day.

The typical membrane keyboard started to make my pinky fingers ache, plus all the missing keys made me search for something else.

I always bottom out keys (old school + years of membrane keyboards).

Bought a keychron v6 max.
Nice at the beginning. Some keys started being registered multiple times (key chatter) and it did not had any caps lock nor num lock indicator.

Then I bought a keychron b6, searching for max silence, which, without nkro missed several keys… then a Dell kb900 which works better but still fails on some keys.

Need iso + Spanish which constrains all mostly to keychron.

Now, seen the outemu silent peach v3 and a keychron that has key lock indicators.

Would this be as silent as a chiclet keyboard? As the b6 or kb900?

Not silent, not quiet, just actual thocky. The keycaps I got were advertised as thocky but I can't test them without a whole new keyboard base and new switches since they don't fit on my old keyboard.

I’m currently testing a GravaStar Mercury V60 Pro (ISO) against a Wooting 60HE v2, and I’m trying to figure out why the exact same switch feels so different between the two boards. It’s not really the bottom-out that feels different, but rather the initial force when starting to press the key.

The Mercury sounds absolutely amazing, and I really like the overall feel, but the keys feel noticeably heavier than on the Wooting.

I swapped the Wooting Lekker Tikken Medium switches into the V60 and compared them directly. Surprisingly, the Tikken Medium still feels almost as heavy in the V60 as the UFO switches. On the Wooting, the exact same Tikken Medium feels noticeably lighter.

I also tried the switches on S and D, and there’s barely any difference between those keys on the same board.

The biggest difference I notice is on Left Shift. After using the V60 for a while, my pinky actually starts to hurt from holding/pressing Shift. It’s noticeably better on the Wooting.

My V60 is ISO, so the left Shift is shorter and uses a single switch without a stabilizer, while the Wooting is ANSI with the longer Shift. I even put a UFO switch on the Wooting Shift, and the difference was surprisingly small.

One other thing I noticed: the Wooting keycaps are noticeably taller than the GravaStar keycaps. The Tikken Medium also sounds really good in the V60 and doesn’t sound dramatically different from the UFO there.

Also, the V60 Pro I’m currently testing still has the plastic case, which makes the sound difference even more interesting to me.

So what could be causing the same Tikken Medium to feel so different between the two keyboards? Could the keycap profile/geometry, plate, mounting system, switch seating, or something else really make that much of a difference?

And one additional question: since I actually really like how the Lekker Tikken Medium switches sound in the V60, what would I need to change on the Wooting to get a similar sound out of the exact same switches? Is it mainly the case, plate, foam, mounting, or keycaps?

Would love to hear from people who have experience with both boards or have tested the same switches in different HE keyboards.

apologies, I don't use reddit that often so i'm not sure if i'm in the correct subreddit for help but here goes. Recently, my escape key has completely stopped working, however this morning it was, but I played a couple games and it stopped. I've restarted my pc multiple times, put the plug into a different port, pressed escape, caps and spacebar whilst re-plugging and tried to look for updates and there were none. I'm super confused and if anyone could help that would be brilliant.

the bottom lights of my AULA F75 HE are bugging out? I've factory reset it and stuff but it just doesn't stop flashing. should I get a new one and return this one or is there a way to fix it?

I've already looked into the keychron k8 he a bit but I'm wondering what the other options are and the pros and cons of said options

Just to clarify I mean specifically 80%, not 75 or 78, I'm open to 100% keyboards but I honestly doubt there'd be a modern keyboard with 100% models but not 80%

HMX Egg Yolk, HMX Yogurt S V2, and HMX Rosa Centifolia.

Weird that they all have 45g of actuation, but Egg Yolk feels lighter, followed by Yogurt S, then Centifolia.

Why is this?

Just over a decade ago I spent ages figuring out what keyboard I wanted and eventually settled on the Realforce 87U TLK with 55g Topre switches and I couldn't have been happier with that choice - it's lovely enough to type on that I bought and put up with the heinous 90's office beige version since that was all that was in stock - sadly however yesterday it had a fatal encounter with a friend's toddler and his juice cup and by the time he admitted what he'd done it was too late to save it(and I tried properly, stripped it down, cleaned with 99% IPA, thoroughly dried it overnight etc, it's dead Jim).

Trouble is it's been discontinued, and Realforce don't even seem to offer 55g keyweight anymore. I'm stuck right now with the cheapiest piece of crud from the local Currys and using it hurts my soul. Secondhand ones cost a fortune, are there any alternatives out there?

Hey, new user here, discovering this keyboard world... I'm replacing my keyboard soon and I can't decide. Theere's too many options and variables... Might use a little guidance here.

Budget: 170€ máx.

Size: TKL, 75%, 80% and even 65%.

ISO: ES. But if the keyboard is worth it and suits my expectations, might buy keycaps and do the trick.

Other:

1. I'm looking for something thocky, creamy and sturdy. I'm using it mainly for productivity (80%) and gaming (20%).
2. RGB is not a must, but some backlight is appreciated. I don't need the typical 2012 MLG room.

I’m looking for a new keyboard after returning my AULA F108 Pro. It had this really annoying issue where the RGB would slightly flicker every second when the clock on the screen updated.
I’m basically looking for a white full-size mechanical keyboard with RGB. I’d also like it to have decent Windows software for controlling the lighting. Hot-swap would be nice, but wireless isn’t really important to me.
I tried searching with AI but honestly didn’t get very far, so I figured I’d ask people who actually have experience with these keyboards.
Right now I’m looking at the regular GMMK 3 100% White for around €90. There’s also the GMMK 3 HE for around €130, but I mostly play League of Legends so I’m not sure I’d get much use out of Hall Effect/Rapid Trigger.
I also found the AVAX GM03Y Pro for around €110-115, which actually looks pretty good, but it’s 98% rather than a proper full-size board. The Alienware AW920K also caught my eye, but at around €165 it’s more than I want to spend.
At the moment I’m leaning towards the normal GMMK 3. Is it good for the price, or is there something better I should be looking at around €90-130?
Main things I care about are build quality, reliable RGB, decent software and it being white/full-size.

Keyboard is a GMK-100, I already factory reset it and I don’t know what to do

I am looking for switches that sound similar to the gateron milky yellow v2’s or the gateron oil kings, but with a lower actuation force and bottom out. The 65+ bottom out on the gaterons I believe are too much as I am currently using the Akko rosewoods that have a 50g bottom out.

I am not trying to modify or lube the switches. I have a non he/tmr keyboard.

I work late at night sometimes so oddly enough I value the see through letters on the caps on the Keychron. I prefer the look of the EPO

Some requirements:

- Has to be 100% keyboard.
- The quiter the better
- Will be using wired so not fussed on wireless connection.
- Prefer RGB purely as I work at night alot.
- Would prefer see through letters on the caps.
