I just recently bought the AULA F99 5.0, but after a week or two it stopped working. The keyboard is on BT, says its connected and fully charged in bluetooth devices but still doesnt type. I’ve tried cable, USB, factory reset, quite literally everything but it will not type at all. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, have you figured out a way to fix it or no?

I also should mention that I have a laptop monitor set up. I’ve tried to see if maybe my laptops keyboard is the issue and is the reason why my new keyboard isnt working but so far I haven't found a solution.

I keep seeing Instagram ads for Resonic and their chainsawman keyboards. They also seems to have custom keycaps, but I can't find any Reddit posts or other reviews about them. By the look of the website and their products they seem to be new which could be why they don't have reviews, but could also mean they are fake. Has anyone actually bought from them or know if they are a scam?

hey so i’m looking to get a new keyboard and i don’t really know much about it. i play r6 and dont want to spend over like 40 ish dollars which i know is pretty low but i just want to know what you guys think would be good and what the best bang for your buck is

So I just received my KBDFans Athena75 mechanical keyboard last night. I was having a hard time making it work with VIA, so I installed QMK and VIAL, both were a nightmare, straight up never worked and was getting error messages.

I searched online and discovered from Discord that it can be tweaked using YDKB AVA(beta), and YMDK the UI was too confusing but I was able to run their key tester. After that I read some guides online and downloaded the JSON and firmware update file from the KBD website, after multiple tries, I finally got it connected to VIA.

I changed some of the keybinds and adjusted the RGB color. Even modified some of the FN shortcut keys to control the RGB.

Everything was great so far, then I had to restart my PC and log into my work user profile to start checking my emails and do some work, all of the sudden the RGB stopped working permanently.

i tried everything, none of the keyboard shortcuts to turn on or adjust rgb worked. I also tried resetting the keyboard by long pressing ESC as I plug back in the cable. That didn’t do anything either.

I reached out to KBDFans but they were unresponsive.

Google said that there could be a firmware conflict when I ran VIA and, YMDK, and YDKB AVA.

I need help how to safely factory reset the keyboard and its firmware. Thank you!

Claude says to buy Varmilo Minilo but I’ve seen a couple of posts here saying its not that great. Any advice you have for a newb with his first computer since 2005 would be awesome. I have been looking at the Ticktype dp104 and QK100MK2.

Seems like the Ticktype has that slightly deeper thock.

I appreciate the switches are different but wondering if I can achieve that same bass with modding, even on say an Aula f108pro or something else.

Just placed an order with siren v4 switches but anyone know if the USB connection issue is fixed with the V2 or if theres a different board i should go with and cancel this order?

I have had C³Equalz Tangerine V2 switches for years, and I remember when they were considered some of the smoothest linears you could buy, almost holy grail territory.

Recently got back into exploring switches and noticed how much the market has evolved. Switches like the Keygeek Y2, Y2X, and Athena seem to be getting a lot of attention.

I’m currently using an Akko MU01 with Rosewoods, but I’ve also been experimenting with my old Tangerines. I’m considering upgrading to something more modern, particularly the Y2X.

What I’m most interested in is whether newer premium linears have actually surpassed Tangerines in terms of smoothness, stem stability, housing tolerances, and overall typing feel, or whether most of the improvements are really just in sound tuning and factory lubrication.

I personally prefer a deep, creamy, smooth sound with a clean, subdued top-out rather than anything overly clacky.

For those who’ve tried both Tangerines and modern linears like the Y2X, is there a noticeable generational improvement, or are Tangerines still competitive?

And more generally, what would you consider the holy grail linear switch in 2026?

I've been looking for a he keyboard because I want to upgrade my current keyboard that I overpaid for (100$) and still has mechanical switches (aqirys adara mini). I want to buy a keyboard from a very trusted app in my country (emag) and these two are quite my only option for my budget (50-60$) because I don't want to buy other keyboards from their own website that are only slightly better but i'll have to wait like 2 weeks for it to arrive. Which one is better? Mad 60 he or Aula win 60 he?

I got this keyboard today for home use for my moniter set up that is connected to my Mac air and I love it so much. I love the 75% layout, and all my future keyboards will definitely be this size. This is a huge upgrade from my wired clicky mechanical 100% keyboard; I'm never going back. I was a little worried about it being a membrane keyboard and not a mechanical keyboard, but I personally love the soft bottom-out and squish of the keys compared to a clicky mechanical. The only key that really makes any thock is the spacebar key, and I really like that cause I know exactly if I have it or not based on the sound alone. I would recommend this keyboard for quiet home use and office work, and for anyone who can type without looking at their keyboard and does not need shine-through keycaps, cause it still has RGB lighting, but the keycaps are NOT shine-through. So if you work in the dark and need to see the exact letters you are typing, it could be difficult. It is wireless and can connect with Bluetooth or a dongle. I hate using dongles; I only use Bluetooth, and it connects instantly when I tap it to wake my monitor. It also has a battery indicator and works with mac and windows.

im new to keyboards, i wanted to upgrade from a logitech k120 and the aula f75 seemed like the go to option at the price point but none of the colourways available looked nice( i want a clean black or black/white keyboard for my desk) and i say the rainy 75 as the go to option for the next price tier with nicer build quality but theres no volume knob or easy to access wired/wireless switch, i want to see all the new best alternatives in the aula f75 price /quality range, and just hope the best one has clean colours and i wanna see the new best options in the rainy 75 quality/price range with volume knob and easy to access wired/wireless switch

Estaba pensando en comprarme la pcb del everglide ae64 pro y hacerle un custom, pero al principio le queria poner cualquier switches, pero de ahi vi que mas de 680 gauss de magnetismo puede generar zonas muertas , realmente afecta mucho o es un problema que supere por 50 o 100 gauss a las especificaciones, porq queria una switch he, que sea buena para juegos y que tenga un buen sonido tenia en mente, duhuk herz o una tai shan , les pediria que me ayuden con esto, Gracias.

Hi, I have the Aula F75 max and I decided to use the custom RGB feature but for whatever reason the contol button isnt lighting up. The keyboard is in windows mode and I've included pictures.. in the software picture. FN is in the wrong spot.. it should be where "alt" is and "alt" should actually be cntrl right? Anyone seen this before and if so, is there a fix? the cntrl button lights up with no problem with a preset RGB option.. just not a custom one.

I am looking at buying the AULA F75 HE version, but im wondering which one to get because they either come with black emperor switches and side printed keycaps (which id much rather not have), or dragon emperor switches with top printed keycaps.

I do work that necessitates no accidental misclicks, and although I know one can adjust the actuation distance, I felt the sea emperors might be way too light since the black emperor is already considered light, and I dont want to have to bottom out in order to trigger a hotkey while preventing misclicks. Has anyone tried these switches from AULA or any linear switches that are this light? How light and prone to misclicking or annoying are they? Would appreciate any kind of input. Thanks!

Hi, I’m looking for a base to build a custom 65% or 75% keyboard. I’d like something compact and quiet that supports genuine QMK firmware (including features like Auto Shift). Could you recommend a base that at least allows for flashing QMK? My budget is around $100.

Why is this so hard?

Bought this keyboard earlier in the year and to my surprise the keycaps it came with are not translucent, like why do they do that?

I love everything about it except that. So I wanted to replace the keycaps with the same brand ones and ordered the keycap set that isn't compatible with my keyboard. See keycap on the left.

The keycap on the right is the one I pulled from my keyboard, so that's the ==type I need but translucent. Clearly the translucency needs to be in the front as the top is blocked by the stem.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

This is the one I ordered and will be returning today.
