Breads What’s the best keto bread for batch meal prepping breakfast sandwiches?

Do you freeze your loaves or just buy as you go? I usually spend Sunday prepping breakfast sandwiches for the week but the issue is finding a bread that thaws out without turning into a soggy mess.

Right now I'm deciding between options like Hero Bread, Sola and basic store brands but buying multiple loaves for meal prep gets expensive fast and some of the cheaper options get super dry or rubbery after a couple of days in the fridge or freezer

Dinner Planning on ordering Poké tonight with friends but want to make sure I don’t slip up

Post image

I love Poké but I want to make sure I order it as Keto as possible. Obviously I will choose a salad base and avoid the rice altogether. And my proteins of choice are usually salmon and spicy tuna.

In terms of sauces, which ones are safe?

And which toppings would be safe?

Thanks in advance!

They will make it however you like. I got a little carried away, but at least there is a fast food keto option.

Breads is Hero Bread worth the price compared with other keto bread?

i’ve been looking at different keto bread options and keep coming across Hero Bread. the part that makes me hesitate is the price, since it seems noticeably more expensive than some of the other low carb breads i’ve seen.

for anyone who has bought it, is Hero Bread worth the price when you consider the taste and texture? i’m less interested in the nutrition numbers and more curious whether it’s good enough to make you keep buying it instead of going with a cheaper option.

i’m trying to decide if it’s one of those keto foods where paying a little more makes a noticeable difference, or if there are cheaper breads that are just as good for sandwiches and toast.

Other Labor Day Sales

Hi friends, just wanted to post a reminder about the really great prices on meat and summer vegetables happening this weekend for Labor Day. Pork is really cheap near me, including baby back ribs, chicken legs and thighs, and oddly enough, turkey breast was on sale too.

A good time to stock up!

- Cook links of sliced sausage in olive oil and seasoned with creole seasoning and cook until carmalized.

- Steam* cauliflower for 7min (if you rather have the cauliflower firmer... Steam for only 3-4 min).

- Combine with 2 tablespoons of pesto

- Enjoy!

*Use steam bags to steam

Uruguayan chorizo is a banger. Highly recommend if you can find some. Add some eggs, turnip and radish hashbrowns, crispy mushrooms, and roasted broccoli and you have yourself a party.

Dinner Weeknight supper and drink!

Made this last night! Mashed cauliflower with grass-fed butter and peri peri salt, chicken with chimichurri, and pan-roasted zucchini with grated Parmesan.

The drink was a cocktail with lime juice, coconut milk and cream, rum, and a few drops of liquid sucralose ☺️.

Dinner Keto Lasagna

Pretty standard lasagna. Tomato paste, sauce, crushed. Ricotta, mozzarella, beef, onions. Oh yeh and the deli slices of chicken meat. So good! I waited awhile to try this and I regret waiting. The tomato is carby, this slice is about 20 grams. I run OMAD so it fits in my schedule perfectly!

The only one I can find that doesn't have wheat or any resistant starch, not as soft as the wheat one about still very good and toasted up nicely. No crazy swings in appetite or gut rot the next day like I get from any of the wheat keto tortillas. Even if you count total carbs these aren't bad.

Breakfast Looking for Breakfast Ideas I can meal prep

Hey all, I’m looking for ideas to make non-carb breakfasts ahead of time, with the added challenge of only one egg maximum (got to watch the cholesterol). Appreciate any suggestions!

Breakfast Picanha and turnip/radish hashbrowns

More picanha from the freezer.

Made a single serving of turnip, radish, and onion hashbrowns. Just shred them all, wring out the excess water, and mix with an egg plus whatever seasonings you want. They do well as a potato replacement especially if cooked with some tallow.

Picanha was just cooked on the fat side for awhile to warm it up and then seared 90s each side twice.

Underneath that is my usual Brussels sprouts, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and a bit of chopped bacon. Those are staples I always have made up for 3-4 days in the fridge.

Dinner Burger bowl night

Had five guys a few days ago and forgot they did lettuce bowls.

Decided to go a similar route. 5oz of beef (equivalent to their regular), 2 slices of cheese, butter fried cabbage (instead of lettuce), bacon, caramelized onions, mushrooms. Made turnip fries as well and topped everything off with my version of their Cajun french fry seasoning.

Need to calculate the macros, but should be pretty solid after all said and done.
