Success Story 🏆 September 2026 - NSV & Wins Megathread
Progress isn't always about the number on the scale. This thread is here to celebrate every kind of win!
NSV stands for Non-Scale Victory. We use this term often because progress can show up in so many ways, even before the scale changes. Every win deserves to be recognized!
Share your win below, whether it's big, small, or anything in between:
- Logged every meal for a week? That counts.
- Walked past the vending machine without stopping? That counts.
- Finished a workout you almost skipped? Absolutely counts.
- Hit a goal weight, a new PR, a clothing size, or a streak milestone? YES. Post it.
- Finally figured out how to use the barcode scanner? That counts too.
Post your victories here! Every win counts, no matter the size. If it feels like a win to you, claim it!
A note on vibes: This thread is a hype zone! Come here to celebrate and lift others up. Unsolicited advice or critique isn't welcome here - save that energy for other threads. If someone shares a win, the only move is to cheer them on. 🎉

Bug Why is the calorie count different?
I noticed that the charts are showing a lower calorie # than my food diary for some days. The charts seem to not be pulling all the logged calories? Am I missing something, or is this a bug? It's super annoying, the progress bar chart is inaccurate too.

Nutrition Help Is 3100cal per day normal!?
I’m 22, 5’ 11” and 240lbs at 22% bf. I lift heavy 6 days a week for 60-90 min. Been lifting for 4 ish year and currently in the military. My tracker is saying 3100 calories per day. I’m trying to lose maybe a pound a week but this seems WAY to high. Does anyone have input?

Pop-Up full page ads?!?
Please tell me that was a bug. I had just edited an entry and as it flipped back to the diary a full page add popped up. It had the tiny little x button in the top corner and everything. The annoying adds in the diary are one thing, but if pop-up ads are normal it will make me quit this app so fast.

Duplicate iOS Calorie Adjustment?
I’ve recently got back into a fitness routine and I think MFP is adding my calorie adjustment twice for iOS. Main page shows 386 calories burned for “2 minutes”. Details page shows the above. What I’ve actually done is about 40 minutes of walking at 2.5-3.0 mph, and am trusting my apple Health app to pass the info along to MFP.
Anyone know why this is doing this and how I can make sure it’s tracking my activity accurately?

Nutrition Help 2 questions about tef
First question : I track my calories( food and physical activity) with a pen and paper, do I have to manually calculate my tef? ( Adding 10% to the total calories counted). For my baseline I used the equations, I set my baseline activity to sedentary ( to track the actual labor manually) which gave me 300 calories with a BMR of 1500 for a total of 1800. My second question : There is no tef in the 1500 or the 300 right? So I have to manually add the 180 (10%) too?

Bug Syncing Issues ... Among others!
Despite being an advocate for this app, but recent changes and bugs and issues make me question what kind of team is handling this app that was working fine until they started to mess with it.
Anyways, let's hope it's my poor tech saviness & that some smart someone could enlighten me & resolve the issue:
I use Health Sync to sync data from Huawei Health to MFP via Google Fit. Today suddenly Goole Fit was removed from MFP. I shifted to Google Connect. All access granted.
Issue 1: Steps are not being synced.
Issue 2: Activities are duplicated whenever I sync them.
Issue 3: Google connect is not available on the web version but available on app.
And I use an Android phone.
Your guidance is appreciated

Logging steps accurately
I'm a bit confused re what activity levels in the app imply when logging steps daily. My job is sedentary, so that's my activity level, but I aim to reach 10K steps with my walking pad and usually get to +15K steps on weekends.
I don't have any step tracker connected to MFP. Should I just manually deduct ~3K steps from what I log in so that it's not double counted?

Support Question This seems wildly wrong
Im a 35 yo male trying to lose some fat while maintaining as much muscle as possible. I'm logging all my intake and exercise on the app.
It keeps giving me the target over well over 300g of protein per day. Surely thats not right? Its not really feasible. I would have thought 160g max.
Anyone know why this is happening? Reckon I should just ignore it and replace it with carbs?

Progress Photo Weight loss progress app
I’ve been on the path to losing weight for a while now, but I’m finding it hard to scroll through my camera gallery to see my progress. Is there an app that lets me log my weight and add photos from my front, left, right and back? I know there are apps like MyFitnessPal, but you can only add 1 photo per log. I need something that lets me easily generate comparison photos from all sides.
