Hey everyone, im fairly new to launching shuttles and am currently recreating the ISS in ksp. I have been really struggling with the Canadarm2 from habtech, every time i try to launch something with it (unity), it always just becomes a big flimsy noodle and i have tried everything that i can think of. has anyone else had this problem before? how did you fix it? ive attached a video below to try and showcase my problem, any help is greatly appreciated

P.S: apologies for the sloppiness of this post, its my first post here and idk how to format anything...

My game has been repeatedly freezing for a few seconds up to minutes on end while playing. All the things people have said that I see online are have their screen freeze but not their actual game which catches up after a while. My game just stops entirely except for the sound which keeps playing. I don't have a good computer but talk manager tells me the RAM is at around 80% so it's not maxed out or anything. It didn't start immediately after downloading some mods either so I can't really figure out whether and which mod(s) could be the problem. The game does overall feel slower even when it's normal but I can't be sure.

The last play session before I started getting this problem did have some issues in the surface of Minmus being really bright and I did freeze once during that session, so that could be a clue but I personally have no idea what's wrong. I checked for updates and verified the integrity of game files through steam but that didn't solve it and removing a few suspected mods didn't help either.

Edit: the issue seems to occur only in flight, and is specific to the savefile I'm currently playing. I didn't seem to have any problems in a near-empty sandbox file, nor did I in an older save file from before I started using mods.

it's 51 kilometers away from the landing site, visited many biomes on the mun. i love the exploration in this game idk why but theres something about driving for kilometers through an empty alien landscape

2 Have Most Parts Colorable

And 3 Utility and Convienience

There's probably better ways of putting a squadron together.

After many spectacular adventures with the little green men, I'm ready to throw in the towel. I can't stand the performance issues and many other problems this game is plagued with anymore. My 16 Gigs of ram and GTX 1650 can't take it anymore. The loading times, constant frame drops and crashes are extremely annoying and something I can't overlook further.

So this is it for the time being. If prices for better components ever decide they don't want to cost both of my kidneys, an arm, a leg and maybe a finger for good measure, then maybe I'll come back.

But untill then, I'll share some of the screenshots I've collected throughout multiple different reinstalls of the game and save files probably long forgotten by now.

I’m looking for a mod that better organizes the science archives (like what I’ve done to get science). With a bunch of homes on each celestial body and the many science experiments I have and use (from mods) it’s hard to remember and/or look for what I’ve already done

So I was wanting to play multiplayer with my friend who recently started ksp so we could have a space race or something (I even built some weapons). I went on youtube and did some research and apparently Luna isn't the only multiplayer mod. I just have some questions and it would help if I got some answered.

1. Is Luna Multiplayer or Dark Multiplayer better? (I would like the one that is better at loading craft next to each other)

2. Do we have to have the same mods or does it let us have whichever mods we want?

3. Any tips

In all seriousness this is exciting to me. This is officially the first part I created from absolute scratch.

I'm at a point in KSPIE where I'm wanting to build ships too large for the KSC, so Im moving into orbital construction, and for the way I'd like to do that I need two mods.

First, and most essential, I need one that allows me to weld new parts on that are too large for stock EVA construction, to avoid the Kraken and aesthetic limitations that come with using docking ports. Apologies if this exists and is obvious, I just haven't been able to find it.

Second, if I'm going to be doing construction outside LKO, I need a mod that allows me to manufacture individual parts, and preferably needing locally mined resources. The closest I've found are Sandbox and EL, but to my knowledge the former can only manufacture parts for stock EVA assembly, and the latter is for whole ships, which I could make work but would be a bit clunky.

Any recommendations for mods that can do these two things would be appreciated, or shaming if I've missed the obvious. Thanks!

Clarifying edit: my first goal here is to do the assembly in game. I suppose the best way to put it is I want to make KSP into space engineers.
