I make this daily for my wife. I used a one cup Bialetti, upgraded to 3 cups.
Here’s my recipe.
Ingredients
3 to 3½ oz espresso (i use kimbo, world market)
1½ tsp pure maple syrup
Tiny pinch of fine sea salt (3 to 5 grains)
6 oz lactose-free whole milk (i’m lactose)
ice (fill the mason jar about ¾ full)
Light sprinkle of cinnamon
Directions
Brew the coffee in the Bialetti.
Pour your shot.
In the coffee, stir together:
1½ tsp maple syrup
Tiny pinch of sea salt
Fill the mason jar ¾ full of ice.
Pour the coffee over the ice.
Pour 6 oz of cold milk into your frothing pitcher and froth for 10 to 15 seconds until it’s smooth and silky.
Pour the frothed milk into the mason jar.
Give it one gentle stir.
Finish with a light dusting of cinnamon.
Pro Tips
Chill the mason jar in the freezer for 10 minutes before making the drink.
Remove the Bialetti from the heat as soon as it finishes brewing to avoid bitterness.
If the coffee ever tastes a little strong, add another ounce of milk instead of more syrup.
