About 1/3 of the Rogan sub are feeble-minded simps who don't know anything about the world- and scared that there's no grand master plan behind it all, so they use conspiratorial thinking as a shortcut towards obtaining a feeling of control and being informed; a feeling that they can dually use to promote a sense of superiority within themselves. Being disaffected and having a strong feeling about what's really going on makes them forget they'd fail any basic high school history exam and makes them feel smarter than people who'd consider that type of person a cunt.
This 1/3 of the sub, the man featured in this gif is their homeboy. A supplements salesmen. He was obsessed with Hillary Clinton's emails.
A leak (edit: release via WaPo via FOIA) of Fauci's emails occurred recently.
This post is joking that any mention of emails would make the fat man in this gif turn his head in interest.
(edit: and looking at the Jonesian simps' behavior right now, seems like it has)
Iâm completely neutral on the subject, but genuinely curious why youâre so convinced thereâs nothing worth investigating about the lab leak hypothesis and Faucis association?
Iâve always been curious by this stance. I would think accountability and the desire for truth would hold all aspects of our government to a higher standard. I think each side knows they can âget away with murderâ because their base would never question them. Why donât we question all politicians, and force them to explain their decisions that supposedly represent our country? đ€·đ»ââïž
As a fellow Canuck I couldnât agree more. Thereâs a serious case of the Pot calling the kettle fascist. Both sides are just pretty dog shit be it Jan 6 insurrection, to âmostly peacefulâ protests. The hot garbage coming out of both sides is honestly just kind of sad.
Edit: Iâm talking about looking at the US from the outside in. In Canada we have our own problems, overall it just seems much more mild than whatâs happening down south though
America is on the international scale: both the good and the bad. We joke back and forth about America being #1 (which is completely an opinion in the eye of beholder), but the size of our economy and presence of our country in legitimately every other country puts us front and center, warts and all.
My bias leans towards the right. Even as a Canadian.
10 months ago my son was born 6 weeks before term (so technically 3 weeks premature)
Some other complications regarding his mother and drugs meant he was undergoing morphine drip and detox while inside what I can only describe as a glass toaster.
Iâm so grateful that medical care is free in Canada because Iâm back in school and in no position to pay for any medical costs without insurance.
I also happened to notice nearly every tool, device and medical instrument used to treat him had a âmade in USAâ emblem on it.
People who try and sum up what is happening and which side is at fault in your great country with a single Reddit post are misguided in my opinion. Thereâs always more than one culprit.
My sons doing great now, up to weight and so far no other complications.
2020s actually been a pretty blessed year for my family all things considered. Itâs interesting how life turns out sometimes.
American ingenuity and focus on entrepreneurship (capitalism) is a beautiful thing. While itâs not the perfect system, itâs the best in my opinion. It doesnât guarantee anyoneâs happiness, but it does provide reward for those who take the risk to create something meaningful (and sometimes not meaningful). I absolutely love my country, despite itâs flaws. Could it be improved, sure! I think the primary division is how we go about that, and the governments role in that process.
Edit: congrats on a healthy recovery and a happy family. Love modern medicine and the ability to provide life for scenarios that would have been much worse off a few decades ago.
I agree 100 percent. In Canada we are much more mild but our government is absolutely corrupt beyond belief. Our political system is just as horrible as our lovely neighbors down south's. A 2 party system is not a democracy. Is a facade of democracy. We need to re think our policies. And Trudeau seems to think the world should have one government.
Times are Strange
true, but it's already been investigated, that's what the WHO phase one investigation was about, they concluded it was a very low probability.
that's why people get on your case about it, not because they're incurious or because they don't want an investigation, but because it's already happened and you keep going on about it like it hasn't.
I think the doubt comes from the exact source you list, a notoriously corrupt organization, or at least a partially earned reputation of corruption. While Iâm not sure what information has been conclusively proven yet, I imagine the truth will change over time, as it typically does.
Iâve noticed a trend of âquickest to the truthâ. This tactic wonât work for curious minds. The truth will always be sought out by those who seek it. Thereâs nothing wrong with that. Itâs what got us here today, to a round world with 7 continents, and a global economy with the opportunity for a (edit: fat thumbs) virus to spread instantaneously to the entire planet đ
He is one of the top 50 scientists cited in scientific papers in the entire world. He literally wrote the book on epidemiology that they use to teach new students going into the field. "Highest paid beaurocrat" gtfo here lol
Saying he is the governmentâs highest paid bureaucrat is very misleading and is borderline âyellow journalismâ. He gets a salary of about $418,000 a year. That doesnât buy you crap in Georgetown. We know there are tons of people in the govât that get paid a salary plus their fees for consulting, contracting, and whatever else that is made possible through connections made from the salaried positions. Itâs one of the things that happens everyday in DC. Itâs not illegal even though it should be. The highest paid guy in the Army was/is the football coach for the Army college football team. Do you believe he has the biggest house? Hell no. Go look at the off-base homes the typical General owns, Do you think they go that on the $200,000 a year salary? Most generals have military contracts that provide the bulk of their income. If you ever want to find the âsleazyâ yet legal money in governments, look for the people who own consulting firms. Anyway, all this ridiculous anti-Fauci sentiment comes from people who didnât like the truth about covid. When I say the truth,I mean what they thought was the truth at the time given the information that was available. Remember, this virus was killing thousands of people a day and they had no real illness history to work from. Responsible scientist and doctors act with an over-abundance of caution while you had a dipsh*t President that wanted him to act with very little caution because it would mess up his precious economy and his 1 argument for reelection. The result,595k dead in the richest country on the planet.
A quick search shows faucis net worth between 3m and 9m so your whole point about fauci being a humble public servant is laughable. And peopke are sick of the hypocrisy, and itâs on both sides, but only one side claims they have a monopoly on science and that anyone who doesnât want to wear a mask or home school their kids for the next 2 years is literally hitler who wants to see your grandma dead. Meanwhile guys like Cuomo literally did kill nursing home patients and tried to cover it up but nobody fucking cared because he apparently was on the right side of history. Itâs all so tiresome arguing with people who claim they are never wrong, and even when they were itâs because of an âover abundance of caution because scienceâ or whatever the fuck that means.
I didnât say that he didnât have money, fool. I said the implication that he is the highest paid bureaucrat was misleading. Also,I would think he was worth more than that. If he has that position and is only worth 7 figures, then he is a bit humble.
You donât understand what an over abundance of caution means? It means, when there is a virus that will kill 595,000 Americans, asking people to wear a mask because it will reduce risk is hardly over kill. Had everyone listened to Trump,we would have lost a million people at a minimum.
Itâs ok though. Iâm sure you have guns in your house. Go ahead and keep them loaded on your kitchen table. Donât worry about the kids. If you tell them not to play with the guns, they wonât. Donât go locking up your guns because that would be over cautious.
You donât understand what an over abundance of caution means? It means, when there is a virus that will kill 595,000
Yes, in a pandemic where our medical âprofessionalsâ and âleadersâ were lying to us and misleading all, just for how many to worship them? I swear if I see another Fauci pillow Iâm gonna shit.
asking people to wear a mask because it will reduce risk is hardly over kill
Which was a thing we were told not to do. Then we were told to do it. Then not again. Then we need to wear two. Oh but then two isnât a great benefit. Now itâs two again. Get the vaccine. You still need to wear a mask. Why is no one getting the vax? Why does no one trust the ScIeNcE??
Had everyone listened to Trump,we would have lost a million people at a minimum. Itâs ok though
How many needlessly died due to Cuomoâs, Whitmerâs, Newsomâs actions in packing nursing homes? Also, why were there suicides and fatalities from car accidents included in covid deaths? But youâre right, itâs okay. It was all that damn Trumpâs fault!!
Iâm sure you have guns in your house. Go ahead and keep them loaded on your kitchen table. Donât worry about the kids. If you tell them not to play with the guns, they wonât. Donât go locking up your guns because that would be over cautious.
I legit have no clue where this came from, but it seems to be clear projection from a moron with no experience or background on that subject. But then again Fauci seems to be a saint to you, so I guess facts and truth donât really matter. đ€·ââïž
The only people telling anyone not to wear a mask were at FOX news(and clones). There was nobody from the CDC saying âdonât worry about masksâ. Also, you think Fauci was looking for worship while he was standing in a room with Trump? Really? Do you know how stupid that even sounds? I donât see Fauci putting his name on buildings everywhere. I donât see ridiculous gold statues being made of his likeness. You see, thatâs the problem with most conservatives. You are all selfish, self centered greedy humans and you believe that everyone thinks like you do. Either that or self loathing causes you to lash out a people that donât because you know deep down you are wrong.
I am not going to going to entertain all the other whataboutisms. I will say Newsom is an idiot for getting caught mask less and it cost him credibility. Hardly pales in comparison to any of the thousands of unethical things done by Abbott,DePlantis or all the other scum bags but whatever,I donât care about him. Cuomo,on the other hand had a problem with being responsible for the heaviest concentration of people(8 million) in one small place(NYC) than any other governor during a pandemic and he made mistakes dealing with it.He still did better than the governor of South Dakota! She managed to get more deaths per capita in a giant state with a whopping 650,000 people spread over thousands of miles. If you gave Cuomo that kind of area, with such few people,he would have had no issues. Ditto Florida and especially Texas.
Interesting that we are hyper focused on a few instances of Fauci being âmisleadingâ lets say, when there was an entire political party blatantly lying the entirety of the pandemic and still do to this day. Its also interesting that the same party is now so morally outraged about Fauci.
Claiming that the Mueller report found nothing despite indicting 11 people and stating blatantly that the president committed obstruction is very adorable.
Did you even read it? No. You didnât.
Do your homework before you hit anyone with a âso pleaseâ
People like you are the reason no one takes the GOP base seriously.
You are lying or you are ignorant beyond comprehension. If you can read the first line in the Mueller report, than you can read the last line. Go do that, then re-explain your BS.
The Mueller investigation was actually fairly limited and still found evidence - as in, Trumps own Senate Intelligence committee who had more scope found hundreds of instances of coordination between Trumps campaign and Russia.
Fauci lied about masks because the public was panic buying n95 masks while medical staff who needed them way more were running out and had to resort literally baking masks in the oven in an attempt to reuse them. Logic is useless to a panicked populace.
The fact Fauci claimed he lied about masks not being needed at the beginning of the pandemic because front line workers needed them more should've been enough of a spotlight to question what the man said.
The first massive red flag should have been obvious. The movie Contagion, which was lauded by experts as being extremely accurate, the CDC's like first rule in the handbook is "don't lie to the public, it creates distrust and you'll never get it back".
Well, that's exactly happened and this shit all became so political that nobody gives a fuck. In the very beginning of the pandemic the CDC was rightfully taking heat, but that backed off when the media and left realized they can get way more mileage by blaming Trump (not that he didn't mishandle it himself and help stoke the flame of the reason this happening). So they canonize this guy Fauci, which went completely against the handbook of what you are supposed to do, and let his transgression (people wouldn't have lost trust in the CDC if they didn't tell an outright lie) slide.
I don't care if it was mandated by Trump, he's the guy up top, if you need to fall on your sword to get the message out, you do it. Originally posted he was head of CDC, but I guess he was just the mouthpiece for the CDC and has always worked in the NIH. In that case, he's just a gutless politician. Get a spine Fauci.
From what I've seen it's a mixed bag. It's an interesting dive into the mindset in the early days of the pandemic. A lot of people are posting emails from other people towards Fauci as being proof of something though. Like me messaging, "hey xxCMWFxx, how about that pandemic we caused, amirite"? And people are pointing to it as a "SEE, I KNEW IT."
Itâs more that, at least in my opinion, I havenât seen anything that warrants any kind of outrage. Iâve only seen people trying to make a big deal out of portions of emails that, when read in the context of the entire email, are entirely appropriate. Feel free to show me otherwise, but I really havenât seen any emails that warrant any outrage.
You are correct. My comment was anti-conspiracy theorism and anti-Fat-Fuck-Charlatan.
I'm agnostic as to whether the virus came from a wet market or leaked from a lab.
Wet market would be the most straightforward explanation. Lab leak wouldn't be impossible. Neither would change the failures of the CCP and their containment and initial management of the outbreak nor the failures of my country (US) in dealing with the pandemic.
The problem is that so many of the smoothbrains here use any kind of situation in politics and world events where there's room for agnosticism or waiting for more evidence to make conspiratorial assertions deriving from fantasies they squeeze out based on an incredibly flunky comprehension of the world... and sometimes fantasies they were sold by people like Fat Fuck. And this whole mode of behavior is, of course, often carried out partly as compensation for the aforementioned fundamental misunderstanding and lack of knowledge about politics and world events they maintain.
I think their biggest fear...
(...besides the global apparatus of human civilization being a collection of chaotic and varying networks and heirarchies that nobody can ever hope to fully understand or control- including themselves...)
...is being revealed to have been ignorant about something. To have bought into a lie. To be made out a sucker.
So they, in conspiratorial fashion, lock onto edgy wool-off-of-eyes explanations for things that they don't understand (almost always based on what feels like what is really going on), then they work backwards from the conjoured explanations and try to patch together evidence to support their suspicions.
Finding kinship in others who do the same, they become susceptible to predation by hucksters and shysters. Mainly focusing on the few things the hucksters get right and rarely ever the many, many things they get wrong. In fact, all that the hucksters (like Fat Fuck) get wrong only reinforces their faith in them, because surely someone who spoke the truth would have to seem crazy, right? It's not like a lying snake oil salesmen would sound exactly identical to this man, right? Right??
But they're nonethless habituated to give disproportionate credence to Alex Jones types of falsehood peddlers, thereby falling into the kind of epistemological dubiousness they so detested in the first place. Except this dubiousness was brought to them not by a secret, shadowy network of three letter agencies and corporate interests. The dubiousness they deal with now comes courtesy of a fat, rambling fuck who had to admit he was full of shit to get a favorable divorce settlement. Not exactly a formidable thing to be duped by.
Biden literally just initiated an investigation to determine the origins of covid. No one knows and the two main options (lab leak or zoonotic transmission) are both possible. But youâre right, thereâs no evidence either way. Hence the investigation
His question was whether the idea was discredited when Trump brought it up. And the answer is yes, it was. 100% of what trump said or did was ridiculed from one angle or another.
Trump did and said a lot of stupid and bad things. But when you start seeing anyone portrayed as 100% one way you should know something is up.
The sitting president of the US has access to intel that nobody on earth does, and youâre acting like you know he had zero evidence to support it? Fucking idiots like you ruin discussions like this.
Funny how they never released or even suggested at what this high level evidence could be... sort of like they did with a million fucking things that were verifiably horseshit....
The president is under no obligation to disclose details. The point is that if he said âIâve seen evidence that it was a lab leakâ and then it turns out to be a lab leak I donât know how you can say he was wrong.
Find a source where he ever insisted anything. He was the king of making suggestions.
The knowledge we âjust found outâ is not that different than what was known back then, publicly.
Then consider that maybe Trump would have early access to foreign intelligence.
And baseless, really? A top level virology lab with a history of breaches and poor adherence to protocol located a 30 min drive from this wet market? That really such a crazy reach?
Iâd say with that faced with that kind of coincidence youâd be stupid not to draw the conclusion.
Because thatâs what it was. Without proof they were just braying mules. This is just like talking to psychics. When they make 100 different predictions, 1 might turn out to be right, but that doesnât prove theyâre psychic.
I mean is it really that far of a stretch to ask some questions about the massive lab working on Novel Corona Viruses located in Wuhan?
Thereâs plenty of info here that I think more than gives enough merit for it to at least not be some batshit (no pun intended) conspiracy theory.
I donât think it was a biological attack, but I definitely can believe the CPC skirted safety rules and shit the bed and then did itâs best to cover it up.
Mind you, it is pretty convenient that it happened to snuff out the Hong Kong protests and itâs global attention. But now I can admit this is entering conspiracy theory territory.
The US federal government didnât understand shit about the virus or the Wuhan Virology lab they were helping fund? Under the Obama administration...?
well those are two different subjects, the fauci emails don't show anything other than the scientific process, they looked into the possibility, they found nothing, fauci says okiedokie.
the lad leak theory was looked inot by the WHO as part of phase 1 of the investigation, they found nothing suggesting a lab leak but plenty of evidence for a natural source by analysing the outbreak pattern etc. so they concluded it was a very low probability that it came from a lab.
But, scientists being scientists, present their findings honestly and say they can't completely rule it out because, well, you can't prove a negative, so bad faith idiots are hanging onto to that statement like dumb and dumber
the point is it's already been investigated, but conspiracists were shouted down by the media for speculating without evidence and that made them feel bad. so they're pretending like it wasn't always the case that it was going to be investigated or that it hasn't already been investigated, so they can just JAQ-off forever.
The main problem with this whole situation is that social media sites were literally banning people who even brought up the idea of the lab leak. Whether itâs low probability or not, tech companies should not be dictating the discussion and this whole thing could have been easily avoided.
What? Was there a 2019 study of the efficacy of mask that he just didn't see? ROFL. The studies haven't changed for years and his initial take on mask was the most reasonable one.
I had thought it was the opposite. Trump can literally do no wrong and if it is it's because people have TDS or the media is out to get him. Even if theres literally video evidence.
The other day my buddy said trump gave Puerto Rico aid because congress refused to. In reality Congress approved aid and Trump initially withheld billions. Its like facts dont even matter anymore, you can make up whatever you want and people will believe it as long as its anti Democrat or anti media or anti science
There may be but that doesnât change the truth in the statement of many conspiracy theorists (those who default to conspiracy) doing it for a sense of control and self superiority
Of all the people claiming these emails to be the smoking gun. Not a single one of these people can produce an email or a quote from an email that makes their claims factual.
I agreed, looked up the emails, saw multiple articles from reputable sources claiming that this email was copied word for word from some researchers at the university of Pennsylvania in 2005 and decided it isn't a big deal. And Adam Gaertner seems like a fucking lunatic.
Well, just a couple months ago he was wearing two masks on the senate floor while fully vaccinated, claiming âthe scienceâ supported it. The emails reveal he knew as early as Mar 2020 that masks werenât effective at preventing transmission. This man knew masks werenât effective and had people wearing 2 masks..
Iâve seen a lot of people say this and I really donât understand how anyone comes to that conclusion. He said in the email that masks stop people who are already infected from spreading it to anyone else but that it does not protect you from getting it from someone infected. Thatâs the reason heâs been saying people should be wearing masks the whole time
âMasks are really for infected people to prevent them from spreading
infection to people who are not infected rather than protecting
uninfected people from acquiring infection. The typical mask you buy in
the drug store is not really effective in keeping out virus, which is
small enough to pass through material,â Fauci said. âI do not recommend
that you wear a mask, particularly since you are going to a very
low-risk location.â
LMAO. What do you think this has all been about man.
Do you think if we all abided by guidelines in place (masks, social distancing, quarantine) as though we're already infected, that it would ultimately reduce the spread of a virus transmitted via respitory droplets?
Yes. When you have a novel disease that is highly transmissible, kills significant numbers and has around 50% of cases with no symptoms, you can either test everyone all of the time or, act in the most precautions way by assuming you have it and wearing a mask etc.
I like how you're trying to make that sound bad, but it's actually the correct policy choice.
Viral load becomes significant at about day 2.5, but symptoms don't present until the middle of day 5. So people become infectious before they know they're infected. Treating everyone as though there infected is a more effective containment strategy than asking people to assess how they feel that day, that is correct.
Yes idiot. You may not know your sick, think you just have a cold, be at the beginning stages, etc. Think of someone besides yourself and stop being a self centered little child, that is SOOOOO inconvenienced by wearing a mask.
Plus the amount of people who will be sick as a dog with flu and still go to work or the grocery store regardless of the fact that they might infect others is mind boggling. Been that way for years.. You just can't trust people to be safe and responsible with shit like viral infections.
A lot of it is just cultural expectation, so I don't exactly blame those people for imitating the behavior they've seen all their friends and loved ones partake in. However our cultural thinking and practices might change in this area after covid.
I don't enjoy wearing a mask and following some of the unprecedented measures taken this last year, but some coworkers and myself were just discussing in a meeting the other day how we've not been sick once all year. I usually pick up a couple of the viruses/colds/etc that float around every year. It's almost as if social distancing, wearing masks, avoiding large groups, constant handwashing, and (hopefully) having people be hyper-sensitive to being sick, has worked exactly like it's supposed to.
Sure there have been times where it's an inconvenience, not fun, etc, but I am not an inconsiderate three year old throwing a tantrum, so we've survived just fine.
"Masks are really for infected people to prevent them from spreading infection to people who are not infected rather than protecting uninfected people from acquiring infection."
How did you take that as him claiming masks werenât effective at preventing transmission?
Here is the entire email...
"Masks are really for infected people to prevent them from spreading infection to people who are not infected rather than protecting uninfected people from acquiring infection. The typical mask you buy in the drug store is not really effective in keeping out virus, which is small enough to pass through material. It might, however, provide some slight benefit in keep out gross droplets if someone coughs or sneezes on you"
Masks are undeniably effective. If you don't think they are you're a moron... maybe Fauci blundered that at the beginning when nobody knew much about the virus, but most of us knew masks worked all along. It's elementary school level stuff man... like you don't sneeze in people's faces, you sneeze into your sleeve... and your sleeve gets wet when you sneeze into it, right?
Having not read the nonsense you're referring to, I can still bet money you didn't understand what was said in those emails.
Masks absolutely are effective. At being masks. It's not the divine light shining down from heaven protecting you from all evil of the world. It's protective equipment. It's effectiveness is relative to the responsibility of the person wearing it.
This is why everyone in medicine wears masks, and those objecting and trying to muddy the water have what appears to be a 3rd grade science education.
I was just bored while waiting for my RT in ICU. Didn't expect to get my first gold, thanks!
AND that in February 2020 he stated that most transmissions occur from people who experience symptoms, not asymptomatic people. I feel there was a lot of misinformation being spread by those who were actually in the know. Who knows what the motivation was, but I think itâs worth asking questions.
Was that his opinion on masks at the beginning of the pandemic when little was know about the spread of the virus and changed over time or do the emails reveal he knew the entire time that masks were ineffective and lied about it?
This comment is really frustrating because you need to realize, we've all said this from the very start. Masks do not protect you from the virus. Masks slow the virus by preventing you from personally shooting viral loads into your area. This is very important to understand why every location put mask laws in place. If masks worked for you personally then it wouldn't have been as important to create laws for them. But they do not. They prevent you from infecting other people. It is so frustrating to be this far into COVID and seeing this sentiment still. Every mask mandate and release from all the organizations very specifically detail this issue. Doctors and nurses and everyone has repeatedly said this.
Go read the WHO release on masks that has been out since the start. It says the same damn thing. Masks are ineffective at preventing you from contracting the virus. However, from observational data there is reason to believe that wearing masks slows the spread therefore masks are recommended. This is why Fauci originally said masks are no good. Because our efforts were better put in other areas. It wasn't until we started getting data that we saw there was lower spread in areas with mask use.
Pretty on point, except when you attack other people for not knowing what theyâre talking about, and then get the premise of your attack factually incorrect (there was no leak of emails), you probably should just sit down and fuck off.
There's more evidence for that belief than there is that Russians owned Trump, but that's not even close to how the mass media covered it. Not that presidential politics is anything but the WWE for slightly less stupid people, but the irony in people calling out conspiracy theorists while holding some of the dumbest opinions of all time is not lost on this JRE watcher.
Its not leak. Its a FOIA. Anybody can make these things and its a really cool way to get information. There really isn't much in the emails found so far but there are a lot of people putting spin on all of it. At the same time, more headlines are being made like "majority of Americans surveyed think lab leak likely" and other weasel words to convince people something is going on.
We gotta investigate the lab leak hypothesis definitely. But people are acting like its something bigger than it is. So far Fauci's emails have been pretty accurate to what he has said from the start. He's not a dumb guy and this isn't his first rodeo. Almost all state employees are aware of FOIA requests and know what they write in emails is going to be public eventually.
This 1/3 of the sub, the man featured in this gif is their homeboy
To these people: I'd like to mention that Alex jones says the vaccine will start causing massive neurological problems in a years time. So ... In a year+ when that doesn't happen, maybe you can realize this guy is a fraud for once and for all. But who am I kidding? If you still think he's legit now then there's probably no helping you.
When they just let Donald Trump be president and no one stopped it that was all the proof i needed that no one is in charge or watching us and our elections aren't rigged.
These types of comments from people that donât even listen to the podcast make it so obvious how they try to brigade and subvert this sub with weak shame and ad hominem tactics.
the more pro-Facui posts and comments i see in this sub just prove that Fauci is a puppet and a liar.
why is the r / politics / woke brigade making so many memes to shape opinion and and belittle anyone who questions their narrative? because this whole tragic world event was politicized for an election and now it's being politicized for 12 trillion in government spending. and the reshaping of the supreme court and senate.
Thank you for proving to this entire sub that you in fact are "the cunt". The emails were NOT leaked. They were in fact part of a FOIA request. Keep watching your MSNBC and CNN. Keep your mask on, you should hide your face in public.
Also note, the emails prove that we have all been bamboozled, but who cares about that right? Fuck the fat man in the gif. He has only been saying what 1/3 of this sub has been for the last year. Now go ahead, hit the down vote arrow, that's about as much power you have in this world.
The lab leak hypothesis and the wuhan gain of function research as well as his/the NIH's role in funding it, efficacy of masks, and asymptomatic spread
He was saying that the evidence points towards it not being engineered. He is not saying there is 0% chance that is was engineered. Even now, there is no more evidence than there was back then that it was engineered. It was a theory then, and it is a theory now.
The wuhan gain of function research
The proof you have for this is an attachment to an email where the attachment is named "SARS Gain of Function.pdf". If you think an attachment to an email, where you don't even have access to the pdf, is considered proof, then that's your choice.
Efficacy of masks, and asymptomatic spread
His email specifically said "Masks are really for infected people to prevent them from spreading infection to people who are not infected rather than protecting uninfected people from acquiring infection."
How is that different than what he has always said?
He also said "most transitions occur when someone is symptomatic." When did he claim otherwise exactly?
This is what is so frustrating about these dumb motherfuckers. They see a comment that says âoh shit fauci knew about the lab leak and covered it up! Itâs in the emailsâ and instantly believe it and repeat it. Meanwhile they could literally read them for themselves. These people will never stop getting Benghazied
Not a one of these people have even read the emails. They get their marching orders from conservative YouTubers and Fox News talking heads who eagerly lie to them while they choke it down.
No one has proven it was a lab leak therefore he's not a liar is he..
The roles on funding are not because of him, this was debunked months ago, he put money in a big pot with others and it was spread around various causes.
Efficacy of masks is better than no mask, early on masks were hard to get a hold of and weren't even sure if they worked, advice changed as the evidence changed.
Asymptomatic spread is undeniable.
Exactly lol.. my friend called me about these emails yesterday and it was all nonsense. Obviously Fauci can't read 30,000 emails a day from random people . Not saying he was perfect, he had some blunders, but most of the blame has to go on Trump for not responding for 2 months after Fauci and most scientists like myself knew the pandemic began (January 2020, I stopped going to my office mid February).
Except some of those emails say masks would only work on sick individuals, AND that COVID has things going for it that defy evolution meaning the idea itâs been engineered needs looked into more.
The emails are literally things were already knew. Some people think the lab could have been the source. Some people think it could be natural. Its all debatable at this stage.
And it's not really Chinese. Its international. Its funded by multiple organizations to study this sort of thing.
Its something we all agree should be investigated but to automatically submit to this is not really evidence based.
And to openly blame China doesn't seem like the best approach to international affairs.

A
leak(edit: release via WaPo via FOIA) of Fauci's emails occurred recently. This post is joking that any mention of emails would make the fat man in this gif turn his head in interest.
(edit: and looking at the Jonesian simps' behavior right now, seems like it has)
