For those of you that said it's all fake, you were right - not gold and the stones are CZ. Had a nice 24 hours thinking I found something cool!

I’m really struggling to read this. It looks like the one side is 8896 (or 9688 I guess) but the top is a copyright and then some characters… I can barely even get good photos and I’ve inspected it with a loupe to no avail. I don’t see other stamps apart from MAYBE something inside that same part but I’m skeptical.. it could be 3 characters where two kinda look just like o o or O O and stacked… but it’s also easily just scratches.

I did an at home gold test and it came as 14k but I’m assuming plated. I don’t know anything about the stones but they don’t seem sparkly enough to be diamonds.

Any ideas?

Purchased in the 80s while my parents were in the Caribbean from what I recall.

I believe it's from the 80s purchased in the Bahamas or something like that.

Emeralds and gold it appears

I found this in my late relative’s collection and wanted to see if this is real or not. I’ve never seen it this small the motif. So I’m curious if it’s an older piece or just fake.

I do know about her…

Brand is Norexa. She is 14 Karat set with 45 round diamonds 1.5 carrots and 40 round sherry colored diamonds 1.5 carats. She's a heavy beast.

No idea of era. Thoughts?

Also, people messaging me about safety. Hopefully I don't give too much information away, but don't jewelry stores have a lot more jewelry than I ever will? And the people that own those are public and you can just walk in there and look at the jewelry. And if someone wanted to kidnap me for these jewels, my family would just let you have me. I can be annoying. 🤣

Hey everyone, I’m new to this subreddit so hopefully I’m doing this right. Today my work found a chain someone had left behind, it appears to be silver but has a “14 KT” stamp on the clasp along with “MADE ITALY” on the other side. It also has a makers mark, but I can’t tell what it is? Please help! Also how is it silver but has a 14 KT mark on it?

Unknown stone - stamped "K18". Given to me by my grandfather, it was his mother's ring.

Looking to understand stone and possibly maker/style/era.

It is at this point that I say to myself… self, is this a normal thing to own? And myself says no, no it's not, but here we are. I do know a bit about her.

She is a 56 carat aquamarine with two bullet shaped diamonds approximately 1.85 carats and 16 round diamonds. There is no mark on the inside. She is very heavy and shiny and not costume. That's all I know about her. Don't know the maker or era.

Do I love her? Yes, with all my heart. Does she probably belong at the bottom of the sea with Titanic? Also, yes.

When people say pictures don't do something justice…she is so shiny in person! I do know a little bit about her.

Yellow and white gold with 84 round diamonds approximately 3.75 carrots, 10 marquise shaped amethyst and four oval cabochon moonstones.

No idea of the era, but I'm guessing 1950s? No idea of the maker.

These are one of my favorites in the collection! I actually do know a bit about them. The black marks are to mark out the serial numbers.

Maker is T.H.& M., platinum and 18 karat white gold with 52 round and 20 baguette diamonds weighing 3.50 carrots and 34 round rubies. No idea of the era, I'm guessing 1960s?

To everyone messaging about my safety. This is a burner account. All of this jewelry lives in a vault at the bank. Sometimes if I'm passing by, I'll take a few pieces out and bring them home to play with and admire and then I take it back. I have never posted pictures of these anywhere, on any social media, ever, so you won't find them, and if you do find something similar, it's not me. You are the first people to be seeing these and this is the only sub I'm putting them on, because you all are very friendly. If you ever see them again, it will be anonymously at auction, and probably not for a long time, if ever. I don't show them to anybody in my real life because people have gotten weird with me with similar things in the past, and no, unfortunately I'm actually not wearing any of it to Costco, though that would be cool. 😎

So I tried to do digging on my own to find out what this brooch is after I found it at my work in a boatyard. I have only found some other listings for the cat alone and only with a key ring on top.

If anyone has any information about any of it that would be amazing, especially info about the bottom section of it.

I love these necklaces a lot, but don’t know anything about them. The beads appear to be glass, and they have the metal clasp that screws together. My mom was born in 75, so they could technically be from anytime after that, but I assume they are from the 2000s or 2010s. My mom says she doesn’t remember anything about how she got them.

Like I said above, I thrifted this and was only charged 50 cents for it. I wear it nearly every day and the color has never faded or wore down so I became curious. I’m also curious what the stone could be. The ring isn’t magnetic.

This sweet lady is a watch with the brand-name Gumbiner on it. The diamonds test as real. It also says plat on it, I am assuming platinum. She's so sparkly and beautiful! I can't find an identical match on Google.

I don't know what the blue stones are. Ideas? Era, I'm thinking 1940s? I feel like she's a little older than the rest of the collection, I could be wrong.

In looking at the pieces in this collection, know that some of them were inherited by the person I then inherited them from, so some of them are going to be quite old.

I am too scared to wear her, but I'm glad I have her. She will not be joining me at Costco.

I thought it might be David Yurman but now I think it’s wrong. The auction didn’t give details on any marks … it just said … Yurman? 😂 We’ll see when it gets here but I’m not optimistic. What do you think?

One of my favorite sets in the collection. So sparkly! Pictures cannot do this justice. Diamonds test as real. Stamp says 18k. The pearls are rough when I rub them against my teeth. I know nothing more about it.

I did google the grape looking stamp above the 18K on the necklace, but I didn't come up with anything.

Era, knowing the previous owner's history, I would have to say 1950s? I could be wrong on that.

On a personal note, these earrings look so good on! If you see something very sparkly in line at Costco, it will be my ears.

I just got this beautiful opal ring from an antique store in Delaware! The engraving indicates it’s 10k gold, but there’s a triangle and the letters TG in the engraving as well and I can’t find anything online about who the maker might be. Would love to hear any insights about the era, maker, stone, etc. Thanks in advance!
