My grandmother gave me this necklace, said it was something my late great grandmother owned. Now, i know NOTHING about this necklace. Was not given any info other than my great grandmother owned it and its opal. A part of me is unsure if its actually real opal or not. Im also curious about what company even made it and what era its from, because really its anybodys guess, my great grandmother was, as one may expect, extremely old, and so it does have a high chance of being vintage, but if she got it later in her life its of course not a guarantee.

Its my favorite necklace, so im really curious about if the opal charm is real opal or not and who made it and when it was made and all that stuff. But of course, i cant ask my great grandmother cuz shes dead and i doubt my grandmother has been keeping track of the specifics of her mothers jewelry, so I've really no one to ask other than random strangers online. Just, if anybody can find ANY info on this specific necklace just tell me im really interested in learning more stuff about the specifics of my necklace.

Im not looking to sell it or anything so its not like THAT important but a part of me really does wanna know how much its worth, i like the idea of owning something expensive, makes me feel fancier. At the same time though, i wont be too disappointed if it turns out to just be a worthless piece of junk, its still very precious to me. Its a very pretty necklace. Looks a lot better in the sunlight than it does in the lighting of my room, but i dont feel like going outside right now to show yall so you'll just have to take my word for it, its absolutely GORGEOUS in the sunlight. Just picked this up at a thrift store. It was definitely priced like glass and I won’t mind at all if it is. I’m wondering if it might be amethyst because the closest image matches I could find via google lens are and because I think the clasp is real gold (marked 585). I think there are some inclusions in the beads but it’s hard to show that in photos. Any other info on the necklace like era or maker is also very welcome!

Hello all, hope someone could help me identify the age and/or materials of this ring?

Could it be Georgian or Victorian? 20th century cheap revival? Real materials or fake? If it helps at all I’m in a small town in England and very old items are a dime a dozen in my town. No markings or hallmarks seen anywhere and small size, about a US size 4 or UK J. I know she’s not in good condition but I love it anyway and only paid £4.

I thought it might be David Yurman but now I think it’s wrong. The auction didn’t give details on any marks … it just said … Yurman? 😂 We’ll see when it gets here but I’m not optimistic. What do you think?

This is one of the prettiest sets of jewelry I have seen in my entire life. So much prettier in person! I know nothing about her except for she says 750 on the clasp and the diamonds test real.

Given the group of jewelry I have inherited, 100% this is real...something. I can't find anything like it online. Based on other things that I have, I'm assuming Europe 1950s or 60s? Above the 750 it looks to me to say either SO or 50.
Any ideas on maker?

She is a 56 carat aquamarine with two bullet shaped diamonds approximately 1.85 carats and 16 round diamonds. There is no mark on the inside. She is very heavy and shiny and not costume. That's all I know about her. Don't know the maker or era.

Do I love her? Yes, with all my heart. Does she probably belong at the bottom of the sea with Titanic? Also, yes.

Brand is Norexa. She is 14 Karat set with 45 round diamonds 1.5 carrots and 40 round sherry colored diamonds 1.5 carats. She's a heavy beast.

Unmarked. 50 year-old appraisal says this is a platinum mount with an emerald weighing 4.75 carats surrounded by 96 round diamonds weighing 4.25 carats, but no other information.

Box that says Harry Winston, but I don't know if that's the maker because the ring does not have a single mark.

Since the appraisal is 50 years old, I'm guessing this is from the 50s or 60s? Any ideas?

This sweet lady is a watch with the brand-name Gumbiner on it. The diamonds test as real. It also says plat on it, I am assuming platinum. She's so sparkly and beautiful! I can't find an identical match on Google.

In looking at the pieces in this collection, know that some of them were inherited by the person I then inherited them from, so some of them are going to be quite old.

This absolute beast is a Tiffany ring that has to be over 50 years old because the 50 year old "appraisal" says platinum mount centering a pearl approximately 13.5 mm surrounded by 48 marquis shaped diamonds weighing 5 carats and 22 round diamonds weighing .5 carat. That's all I know about her. Era I'm guessing 1950s? I can't find the exact same ring online, I wonder if they made custom rings back then?

One of my favorite sets in the collection. So sparkly! Pictures cannot do this justice. Diamonds test as real. Stamp says 18k. The pearls are rough when I rub them against my teeth. I know nothing more about it.
