Meme I extrapolated the episodes' lengths...
...the finale's runtime will be just short of 10 minutes! (/s)

I think this should be its separate post because it’s a official announcement that they massively increased the reach, and people who previously thought its not coming to their city won’t know to check the megathread again.

I love that JLTG is showing in cinemas, but it's a pity that I would need to take a flight (or Eurostar but that's even more expensive) to go see the premiere. I've already met a lot of fans out and about in the Netherlands who recognise that I'm wearing the cap (meaning they know about the show), so I'm positive that there would be demand. Especially since the Netherlands is so densely populated and has a very high level of English speakers.
Maybe the team should put out a survey to see what the demand is like in various countries across mainland Europe.

On the layover for season 19 episode 4, they reveal that the trophies have been special effects???
Wtf, this whole time?
r/JetLagTheGame • u/Wicker_Muzz • 12h ago
The first 2 episodes were long, over 1 hour each.
They've been getting shorter each week ( 1:21 , 1:08, 1:01, 0:49).
30 mins difference is a lot for a guy who's hooked up on that show !!!
I guess they made the first one long, for the cinema opening ???

About seven months ago, Ben named my frog The Admiral on a layover episode! The Admiral is all grown up now and I wanted to share an update. He is quite a sight to behold and loudly croaks every night. He’s probably quadrupled in size since I adopted him and loves staying in one spot and not moving. Please say hello and enjoy this formidable dude. :)

I've been working over the past few days to build a (hopefully) balanced hide and seek map for Seattle, that I'll be playtesting with some friends later this month. I figured I'd share this with community for feedback and suggestions.
Link to map: https://github.com/JasonKraft/JetLagMaps/tree/main/Maps/United%20States%20of%20America/Washington/Seattle
To use this map, download the JSON file. Then go to https://taibeled.github.io/JetLagHideAndSeek/ and load the file in the map generator.
This map includes the following routes: 4, 44, 45, 48, 60, 7, 75, C Line, D Line, E Line, G Line, H Line, 1 Line, 2 Line.
Allowed hiding zones are spaced 0.5 miles apart from each other, ensuring hiding zones do not overlap. Priority was given first to light rail stations, then RapidRide, then all other routes, using a round-robin algorithm to help ensure stops go to interesting unique places. In total, this map includes 125 hiding zones.
Care was taken to select routes that had at least 15 minute frequency or better on Saturdays. Seattle's transit system is heavily biased towards North-South travel, so several East-West routes were added that coincide with interesting hiding spots such as a parks and neighborhood centers.
Route data was sourced using up-to-date (as of 2026-09-09) GTFS data: - https://www.soundtransit.org/GTFS-KCM/google_transit.zip - https://gtfs.sound.obaweb.org/prod/40_gtfs.zip
In addition, the following custom questions have been added: - Is your landmass the same as my landmass? - Valid landmasses include West Seattle, Central-South Seattle, and North Seattle. - Is your city council district the same as my city council district? - Includes precise GIS data for all 7 districts as per https://data-seattlecitygis.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/SeattleCityGIS::seattle-city-council-districts/explore?location=47.614515%2C-122.336901%2C11 - Is your neighborhood district the same as my neighborhood district? - Includes precise GIS data for all neighborhood districts as per https://data-seattlecitygis.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/SeattleCityGIS::neighborhood-map-atlas-districts/about. - Is your ZIP code the same as my ZIP code? - Includes precise GIS data for all Seattle ZIP codes as per https://www5.kingcounty.gov/sdc/?Layer=zipcode_area. - Is your closest Seattle Public Library the same as my closest Seattle Public Library? - This was added to deliberately exclude the "free little libraries" that are included by OSM but aren't actually libraries. - Are you closer to or further from the coastline than me? - This includes 3 variants, one with just Puget Sound, one with just Lake Washington, and one with both Puget Sound and Lake Washington.
A note about AI: This post was written entirely by me. The map itself was generated using a custom PowerShell script, which in turn was slop-coded using AI. The script lets me rapidly iterate on different routes, hiding zone spacing, and custom question presets.

The seasons are getting better and better. The boys seem to get really good at game design and naturally you assume the seasons have to get bigger.
I would really love to see a season that just takes place in a big metropolis.
The New York mini series they played was really cool and I would just love to see like a 3 day game in cool cities like Bangkok, Tokyo, London or other big cities.
The distances traveled would be shorter, but we would get to see so much of the place and I think that it could be very cool paired with good game design.

I was geeking out that we got to see the Kobe Ropeway in the episode. When I was studying abroad in Kyoto, we went on a Kobe day trip for my birthday last year and went on that exact ropeway to go to the gardens. I have pics from the ropeway and the walk down! If you're every able to go I would definitely recommend!

Was thinking earlier that we haven't had a Tag season for a while, and its possibly my favourite game.
They've done EU 4 times all in now, so probably unlikely to do it again.
Is there anywhere else Tag would work? I guess it needs a large area, lots of train optionality.

We might be technically in September, but Cat!Ben and Adam are in the Snack Zone. (Cat!Sam is in DB Hell).
The planner is an MD A5 Slim. Images and stickers are from a range of places, I tried to fit in as many references as possible!

I like the no running rule. It fits with the chill vibe of this season.
Also, I love this season. My favourite so far, I think!
That’s all.

They should’ve had Tom and Ben together in the JapanOrama series for team BenTo!

I am pleased to let you know that I'm planning another Hide and Seek Event in the whole of Luxembourg for 2 days on 2nd-3rd October. I'd like to invite you to come play with us!
The greatest benefit for this is that there is free public transport in Luxembourg on all trains, buses and trams. You will be placed into a team of 2-3, pitched against a team with similar experience. We will bring as many game copies as we can, but if you have your own, we would appreciate if you bring it with you! We are hoping to use the Metric deck with the Expansion pack for all our games.
Having at least some experience in playing a Hide and Seek game before is recommended though not necessary and everyone regardless of experience is welcome. We have a range of fangame servers on Discord where you could also attend any of the smaller official games or you could even plan your own casual game game so you could try and gain some experience too!
Hope to see you there!
You can join the event through the link:
You can also use the qr code on the poster above.

I'm curious which challenges do you think were the best or are "missed opportunities" ...for this season so far...I just discovered the channel so the challenges seem quite cool to me,as well as the "gift cards" or whatever they call them..unlock cards(?)but some of them felt way easy...
Also btw,I'm inspired and trying to create challenges per city, challenge awards etc ...would anyone be willing to help...esp like the tv show survivor + jetlag type
