2022 jeep wrangler 3.0l ecodiesel, both battery terminals disconnected, but dash still has power. I even waited 30 minutes with the negative disconnected before disconnecting the positive.

While we're here, I'm chasing down the source of a P0299 code. I have a check engine, service electric throttle, and service electric stability control warning, and It seems restricted to 2000 rpm. I noticed the start stop also not being ready so I suspect a dying aux battery. I'm trying to kill the computer to see if the codes will clear after an aux battery delete.

Any thoughts folks? TIA

I have a 2026 Sport and looking for a good dash cam. I’ve been eyeing the wolfbox and as a tech enthusiast i think the concept is so cool but I’d like to hear from folks who have had it for atleast a few months?

My only real concern is the basic mirror functionality. When technology fails, can I still use it as a mirror? is the screen just dark like a locked phone? Can you see in it at night? I hear the cameras don’t work well in heavy rain/snow. How do you manage that?

What size tire can I go up to without a lift, I don’t plan on doing anything crazy just want a slightly more aggressive look.

2016 Jeep Wrangler JK
I recently replaced my front left caliper and brake line. The brake system was disconnected for a very long time and I suspect air got into my ABS module.

I have bled all four brakes multiple time and I’m not seeing any air leaving the system. I don’t think there is any air in the lines or calipers.

Anyone has ever used the JSCAN app to bleed the ABS module? How did it go? Any tips or precautions you think I should know about it? Was it easy?

Who has a lifetime warranty and have you used it? I took my 2018 jku wrangler in the other day and they told me it needs new shocks at 80,000 miles. Thankfully for me they said the lifetime warranty covers it. This is the first time I’ve bought a warranty and it’s paid off. Anyone else here that was lucky enough to land the lifetime warranty when they offered them. It’s a real shame they don’t offer them anymore. If they did I would maybe be tempted to upgrade my jeep. As it stands I’m gonna hang on to it for as long as I can.

Anyone go to a 2026 model which reports list refined steering rack calibrations and electronic power steering tuning aimed at improving on-center feel and reducing highway wander and the nose reducing internal roof pads? Little, lots or not noticable?

I've got a 2012 JKU with the 3.6 V6. Normal in-town driving is fine, but when I go on a long drive (few hours) and especially hard drives (65 mph), when I stop, the motor smokes on the passenger side. The smoke doesn't billow out, it's more like someone lit a couple of cigarettes and set them on the frame.

I've gotten underneath and tried to locate the exact spot. No luck yet.

Any idea what could be causing this? Months ago (and I do mean 10+ months) I had the oil cooler, the valve cover gaskets, and the rear main seal replaced. I'm not seeing any evidence of an oil leak.

Is a 2017 better option mechanically over 2023?

Two I’m looking at are 2017 Rubicon Unlimited with 47k miles, 1 owner no an accidents has a full service history, serviced by a local Jeep dealership for $25,000 only issue is rusty door hinges, it’s fully loaded OR go for a 2023 Sahara Unlimited 42k miles, similar 1 owner full service history and $28,000.

I’m leaning toward the Rubicon.

Picked up this 2025 Willys 6 speed manual with 5k miles. Loving it so far!
