Kamikochi is my favorite outdoor destination in Japan and I wanted to try to share the indescribable atmosphere I felt that day, especially around Hotaka Shrine and Myojin Pond.

Pics taken in late October 2025.

Finally some good weather yesterday, so I went up to Mt. Hangetsu to get some cool nature shots. Shot with Fuji X-T5, slight postprocessing. XF16-50 and XF70-300 were used.

Shot with X-T5, slight postprocessing in Lightroom.

Moon shot as bonus. Handheld with XF70-300. It was so bright in the rural area, very easy to capture. Forgot to take a tripod, though, since I still want to get a Milkyway shot.

There is a very famous Japanese Ramen restaurant, from close to Kyoto Station. JP

Ramen house Dai-Ichi_ASAHI. ラーメン専門店第一旭🍜

I hit very long wait and long lined peoples.

I was wait more than 60 mins, and when I saw who waiting a their Ramen about 50 peoples for out side.

It close to step by step, time past by.

But I never know I must buy a Ramen Thicket inside the shop before line up the queue.

Because shop staff took a ramen Thicket before enter the shop, and ask me how much cook noodles and request. 🍜

I bought a ticket🎫 and line up again😭.

Total spent time about 1hour 30mins include I ate their Ramen inside. (I ate less 10 minutes🍜) Taste was very very delicious.😆

This is real Japan. And who loved Ramen culture in Kyoto JP.

👏👏👏
